Heinz Prulier (Fred Robsahm) is a German soldier stationed as a sniper overlooking his own army from a tree. When he falls asleep, his troops are gone and he is left alone to defend the incoming enemy invasion. Flashbacks recall his wartime experiences and his transition from a human being into a sadistic murderer and rapist. He encounters a prostitute and a giggling girl in this violent feature that reveals the deterioration of human values in the face of the grim realities of war.

1969 (MCMLXIX) was a common year starting on Wednesday (link displays the full calendar) of the Gregorian calendar, the 1969th year of the Common Era (CE) and Anno Domini (AD) designations, the 969th year of the 2nd millennium, the 69th year of the 20th century, and the 10th and last year of the 1960s decade. The year is associated with the first manned landing on the Moon (Apollo 11).
The Apollo 11 mission was the first manned mission to land on the Moon. Launched on July 16 , it carried Commander Neil Armstrong , Command Module Pilot Michael Collins and Lunar Module Pilot Edwin 'Buzz' Aldrin . On July 20 , Armstrong and Aldrin became the first humans to land on the Moon, while Collins orbited above. In 1994, on the 25th anniversary of the Apollo 11 landing, Local 12 aired a three-part special entitled "One Giant Leap." It showcased a minute-by-minute account of the moon landing, explained the mission and the obstacles facing the astronauts and crew, and those who remember Neil Armstrong's triumphant return to his hometown of Wapokenta, Ohio following the mission. Grays Harbor Sheriff Deputy Verlin Harringtons 1969 sighting and John Greens interview while traveling DeKay Road which has had numerous documented sightings. David Ellis reads us the transcripts of John Greens interview with Verlin. When I worked with Verlin, he made mention of this sighting and to those who worked with him, could only mean one thing. He saw one. Verlin wasn't a B.S.er.

Brisbane converted its tram lines between 1968 and 1969 to bus operation. The last trolley buses ran on 13 March 1969 and the final trams ran on 13 April 1969. The tramway closure was notable for the speed with which it was carried out. Over 300 replacement Leyland Panther buses were purchased, at the time the largest single bus purchase in the world. Most older, wooden trams were stripped of metal parts and then burnt at the City Council's yard at Cribb Street, Milton (adjacent to the tramway workshops). The bodies of later, all-metal cars were sold as sheds and playground equipment. Follow me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/oGary86/

I did not give you nonsense
I never promised you
You seem to think there's more to this
Than a wham bam girl can do
Leavin' you is so intense
But I'll be back again
When I come to see you
Don't be askin' when
Whoa, stop your cryin'
(Stop your cryin')
Wipe those tears away
I said hey
I hate long good-byes
I hate long good-byes
(Stop your cryin')
I hate long good-byes
(Stop your cryin')
I hate long good-byes
I told you to get on it
I felt those butterflies
I knew that you were flippin' out
When I looked into your eyes
Oh, stop your cryin'
(Stop your cryin')
Wipe those tears away
I said hey
I hate long good-byes
I hate long good-byes
(Stop your cryin')
I hate long good-byes
(Stop your cryin')
I hate long good-byes
Don't you be neurotic
The moment was superb
And if you thought I loved you
I never said those words
Oh, stop your cryin'
(Stop your cryin')
Wipe those tears away
I said hey
I hate long good-byes
I hate long good-byes
(Stop your cryin')
I hate long good-byes
(Stop your cryin')
I hate long good-byes
(Stop your cryin')
I hate long good-byes
(Stop your cryin')
I hate long good-byes
