3/2 may refer to:

3-2-1

3–2–1 was a popular (and successful) British game show that was made by Yorkshire Television for ITV. It ran for ten years, between 29 July 1978 and 24 December 1988, with former Butlins Redcoat Ted Rogers as the host.

It was based on a Spanish gameshow called Un, dos, tres... responda otra vez and was a trio of three shows in one, a quiz, a variety and game shows.

The show was a huge success consistently pulling in large ratings. The first series, though, intended as a summer filler, attracted up to 16.5 million viewers and subsequent years never failed to peak below 12 million. The show occupied a Saturday early evening slot for most of its run.

The final Christmas special (broadcast on 24 December 1988) attracted 12.5 million viewers, so it is (to this day) unclear why an eleventh series wasn't commissioned. Ted Rogers claimed in an April 1996 interview that "The Oxbridge lot got control of TV and they didn't really want it. It was too downmarket for them. We were still getting 12 million viewers when they took it off after ten years. These days if a show gets nine million everyone does a lap of honour.".

Mathematical fallacy

In mathematics, certain kinds of mistaken proof are often exhibited, and sometimes collected, as illustrations of a concept of mathematical fallacy. There is a distinction between a simple mistake and a mathematical fallacy in a proof: a mistake in a proof leads to an invalid proof just in the same way, but in the best-known examples of mathematical fallacies, there is some concealment in the presentation of the proof. For example, the reason validity fails may be a division by zero that is hidden by algebraic notation. There is a striking quality of the mathematical fallacy: as typically presented, it leads not only to an absurd result, but does so in a crafty or clever way. Therefore, these fallacies, for pedagogic reasons, usually take the form of spurious proofs of obvious contradictions. Although the proofs are flawed, the errors, usually by design, are comparatively subtle, or designed to show that certain steps are conditional, and should not be applied in the cases that are the exceptions to the rules.

Brett Kissel

Brett Kissel (born May 27, 1990) is a Canadian country music artist signed to Warner Music Canada.

Early life

Kissel, a fifth generation Albertan, was born and raised in Flat Lake, Alberta with his parents Brenda and Gordon Kissel. He has one older brother, Jamison Kissel. Growing up on a cattle ranch in northeastern Alberta (in the Flat Lake region) played a big role in Kissel's music. His family operates a successful cattle ranch with Angus and Speckle Park-cross cattle. Kissel's ranching background garnered him attention in the agricultural and rodeo communities across Canada.

The cattle ranch where Kissel grew up - the Wengzynowski North View Ranch - was named after his great, great grandparents Wasyl and Paraska Wengzynowski, and was homesteaded in 1910. The lyrics to Kissel's song "Country in my Blood", released on Warner Music Canada in October, 2013, is a "true depiction of his family's journey to Canada, and the way he was raised in the rural Alberta lifestyle", according to his interview and appearance on the Rick Mercer Report on CBC in March 2015.

Music video

A music video or song video is a short film integrating a song and imagery, produced for promotional or artistic purposes. Modern music videos are primarily made and used as a marketing device intended to promote the sale of music recordings. There are also cases where songs are used in tie in marketing campaigns that allow them to become more than just a song. Tie ins and merchandising could be used in toys are marketing campaigns for food and other products. Although the origins of music videos date back to musical short films that first appeared in the 1920s, they came into prominence in the 1980s when MTV based their format around the medium. Prior to the 1980s, these works were described by various terms including "illustrated song", "filmed insert", "promotional (promo) film", "promotional clip", "promotional video", "song video", "song clip" or "film clip". Since the creation and increased popularity of YouTube, mainstream artists now promote new music videos by releasing trailers of short promos on the site for their upcoming song and music video. Consequentially, YouTube has been converted into a social media platform for celebrities and artists to market themselves to their fans and audiences.
