The house was first built in the 1920s, but was renovated in 2011 — now, it'll undergo further changes, including the building of a high brick wall outside, and the conversion of the garage into an office. The Obama's have also been provided with security, as is the norm with all former presidents.

Featuring nine bedrooms, eight bathrooms and three fireplaces over four levels, the house will be plenty of room for the Obamas small family.

The master bedroom boasts attached 'his and her' bathrooms, as well as a sitting area.
