Corrado may refer to:
The Volkswagen Corrado is a sport compact car developed by the German manufacturer Volkswagen, built at the Karmann factory in Osnabrück, Germany. It was designed by Herbert Schäfer and was produced between 1 September 1988 and 31 July 1995.
Originally conceived as a possible successor to the Porsche 944, the Corrado is a three-door hatchback/liftback with a 2+2 seating layout. Marketed by Volkswagen as, “The European sports car with the Volkswagen difference” the Corrado is a sport compact car that replaced the Scirocco in the Volkswagen lineup in some markets. The car's floorpan is based on the A2 platform (i.e. MK2 Golf/Jetta) and, with the exception of VR6 models, all versions use the subframes, suspension, steering and braking components from the A2 model range. The VR6 uses suspension components from the A3 model range, including the rear axle assembly and some parts of the A3's 'plus' type front axle assembly. The subsequent wider front wheel-track of the Corrado VR6 necessitated the fitting of new front wings with wider wheel arches and liners along with a new front bumper assembly. Together with a new raised-style bonnet to accommodate the VR6 engine, these body improvements were carried across the model range.
Volkswagen's VR6 engines, and the later VR5 variants, are a family of internal combustion engines, characterised by a narrow-angle (10.5° or 15°) V engine configuration. Developed by the manufacturer in the late 1980s, evolutions of these engines are still produced by them.
When containing six cylinders, a VR-engine's cylinder block consists of two cylinder banks (left: 1-3-5; right: 2-4-6) while there is only a single cylinder head covering both rows of cylinders.
The name VR6 comes from a combination of V engine (German: V-Motor), and the German word "Reihenmotor" (meaning "inline engine" or "straight engine") - and so is described as a "Vee-Inline engine" (VR-Motor). It shares a common cylinder head for the two offset banks of cylinders. It has a specific sound that is unique and different than either inline or "V" engines. The engine is currently in use in a variety of VW models, one such example is the Volkswagen Passat NMS.
This engine configuration was also adopted for the Horex VR6 Motorbike.

It looks practically new in the very rare purple/black combo. Making approximately 220 horsepower from its modified VR6 engine and weighing in around 2,700 lbs, the Corrado was the luxury hot-hatch the world wasn't ready for in the 90's, and a sky-high price tag kept it from selling in huge numbers. Now, as a throwback collectible, we can judge the Corrado on its own merits instead of against the competition in the market and find it's just a fantastic little driver's car. We drive not a DeLorean. It's a VW Corrado VR6. This is the one with the weird staggered 10-degree v6 motor that is so narrow it only has one head. This VW Corrado is quite possibly the cleanest car we've ever filmed. It's got a turbocharged VR6 under the hood and every possible aspect of the car has been modified for the show car scene, while still keeping it functional as a weekend warrior. Enjoy! In today's video, Brandon picks up a free VW Corrado. (Besides an extra $100 that brandon gave them for holding it, but it still counts because the car was posted for free.) The dudes wife really wanted the car gone quick, hence why they gave it away for free, even though it's still worth something even with the engine and trans out. An artificial season
Covered by summer rain
Losing all my reason
Cause there's nothing left to blame
Shadows paint the sidewalk
A living picture in a frame
See the sea of people
All their faces look the same
So I sat down for awhile
Forcing a smile
In a state of self-denial
Is it worthwhile
Sell my pity for a dime
Yeah, Just one dime
Sell my pity for a dime
Yeah, Just one dime
Plain talk can be the easy way
Signs of losing my faith
Losing my faith
