Ballajura home riddled with bullets destroyed by fire six weeks later

A Ballajura home sprayed with bullets six weeks ago has been set alight overnight.

Emergency services arrived at the Northbridge Drive home around 11.30pm Monday to find the house and rear workshop on fire.

It took firefighters 45 minutes to control the blaze, which caused an estimated $600,000 damage.

The home was vacant at the time.

Police believe the fire was deliberately lit, with the Arson Squad to investigate.

The Ballajura house was the subject of a shooting on September 5, with seven bullets sprayed into the property, three hitting and damaging the property.

No charges have been laid in relation to the incident.

Nine News Perth reported the owner of the property also had his nearby kebab shop set a light at the weekend.

In another incident, an employee at the kebab shop is understood to have been shot three times outside his Westminster home on October 15.

He has since been released from hospital after suffering wounds to his hip and ankle.

Police are investigating whether the incidents are related.
