Campaigns

Since its foundation in 1851 Leicester Secular Society has campaigned for secularism and against all religious privilege. We are for separation of church and state, and against sectarian state schools.

Non-sectarian education
We campaign against 'faith schools' and for inclusive state education.
Inclusive Civic Ceremonies
We campaign for inclusive and plural civic ceremonies that don't reinforce the privileges of the established church.
