World at Six

The World at Six has been a cornerstone of the CBC Radio network for more than 40 years.

Since that first broadcast in the fall of 1966, Canadians from coast to coast to coast have been tuning in Monday to Friday evenings for a comprehensive wrap-up of the day's news.

The show's editors, producers, reporters and hosts work tirelessly to broadcast not only up-to-the minute news on what's happening but why it's happening, at the same time providing context and analysis, along with in-depth and feature length documentaries.

The program goes to air live in each of the country's time zones, with its content changing to reflect the interest of audiences in those regions.

Now through the internet and podcasts, listeners around the world can tune in anytime to find out about stories in Canada and how international events are covered with a Canadian perspective.
