Baal Veer

Baal Veer is an Indian children's television series on SAB TV, which began on 8 October 2012 and airs Monday through Friday evenings. The series has starred Dev Joshi as Baal Veer in stories about a supernatural boy's adventures in both the fairy and human world.

Plot summary

The show is about Baal Veer (Dev Joshi) a supernatural boy. The initial stories showed (Rukhsar Rehman) as Maa Pari has enthroned Bahuroopi Pari (Karishma Tanna /Shruti Seth) making her the Rani Pari. Baalveer confrontations with the evil fairy Bhayankar Pari (Shama Sikander) who wishes to become the queen. Bhayankar Pari, tries to become Rani Pari but is defeated by Baal Veer.Baal Veer lives undercover as the human boy Ballu who is close friends are the human children . Manav (Rudra Soni) and Meher (Anushka Sen) are often troubled by Montu . but Baal Veer comes to their rescue.

King Digital Entertainment PLC, also known as King.com, is a social games company. King develops games for the web, for mobile (iOS, Android, Windows Phone), Facebook, and Windows 10. King is led by Riccardo Zacconi, who has served in that role since co-founding the company in 2003. Founding partner Melvyn Morris serves as chairman. The company has 1400 employees and parcels development out to small, autonomous teams of designers working with a "startup" mentality. In 2013, it spent $110.5 million on research and development, roughly 6 percent of sales. On November 2, 2015, it was announced that King would be acquired by Activision Blizzard for $5.9 billion and this deal would be complete by Q2 2016.

History

Prior to founding King, Zacconi, Morris and Toby Rowland worked together on uDate.com, a site created by Morris. Morris sold the site for $150 million in 2003. The three joined forces with Sebastian Knutsson, Thomas Hartwig, Lars Markgren and Patrik Stymne to start King in 2003. Originally headquartered in Sweden, King nearly went bankrupt before a Christmas Eve cash infusion in 2003. The company raised $43 million in 2005 by selling a large stake to Apax and Index Ventures. The company finished the year with a profit for the first time and has been profitable each year since. Rowland, who had served as co-CEO, departed the company in 2008 and sold his stake back to the company for $3 million in 2011. Angel investor and former board member Klaus Hommels sold his similar stake at the same time.

Taarak Mehta

Taarak Mehta is an Indian columnist, humorist, writer and playwright who is best known for the column Duniya Na Undha Chasma in the Gujarati language. He has translated and adapted several comedies into Gujarati, and has been well-known figure in the Gujarati theatre.

The humorous weekly column first appeared in Chitralekha in March 1971 and ever since has been looking at contemporary issues from a different perspective. He has published 80 books, over the years, three books are based on the columns he wrote in Gujarati newspaper, Divya Bhaskar while rest were compiled from the stories in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

In 2008 SAB TV, a popular entertainment channel in India, started a show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah that is based on his column, and soon it became the flagship show of the channel.

Personal life

Taarak Mehta comes from a Jain family. He lives in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, where he moved in 2000, with his second wife, Indu, of over 30 years. His first wife, Ila who later married Manohar Doshi, (died 2006), also stayed in the same apartment building. He has daughter from his first marriage, Ishani, who stays in US, and has two children, Kushaan and Shailee.
