Plot: The film tells the story of Shantanu (Dileep), a researcher in Linguistics, and his two friends, Kalpana (Samvritha) and Anuradha (Mamta). Anuradha is the sensitive type who has gone through certain bitter experiences in her teenage, where her cousin approached her with love, which she later realized that it was just his lust for her. Kalpana is slightly capricious and loves being in love. Anuradha wants to play Cupid and bring Shantanu and Kalpana together; she knows that they care a lot for each other, but for some reason or the other are hesitant to take the next step. Kalpana's parents are against her marrying Santanu and they try to bring proposals from their own (Brahmin) community. At one point Kalpana's aunt tricks her into meeting a guy, Sanjay, who they hope Kalpana will like and get married to. While they travel with Sanjay in his car, they meet with an accident, which causes some scars on Kalpana's face and gave her a disfigured toe. After the accident Kalpana backs out from the relationship with Santanu and give-in to her parents' wishes to marry Sanjay. Anuradha feels very bad for Santanu and tries to console him. It is then that Santhanu realizes that Kalpana had actually not loved him at all. Though his actual love was near him, so close, he failed to recognized it.

Phir Hera Pheri (2006)

Plot: Using their wits, Ganpatrao "Babubhai" Apte, Ghanshyam "Shyam", and Raju find themselves wealthy beyond their imagination. They each have a car, a palatial house with a huge swimming pool, that Babubhai is yet to familiarize himself with, and a very easy life. Then Raju finds out that he can double his wealth in 21 days, and meets with an attractive young woman named Anuradha from an agency in Bombay's business district. She informs him that the minimum investment is one Crore, and Raju quickly agrees to invest this money. He dupes another man by the name of Pappu into parting with 50 Lakhs, and the rest of the money comes through by getting Shyam and Babu to sign away their respective investments. After 21 days when the trio go to collect their doubled wealth, they find that Anuradha and her company have disappeared. Devastated, they move out of their bungalow and are now living in a shanty room in a Chawl when they get a visit from Pappu, who wants his money back, as he owes this money to Tiwari, an underworld Don. The trio decide to meet with Tiwari and plead with him, but all in vain, then they decide to stage a robbery, however, that does not go well either. It is then they find out that a rich Parsi man owns an antique gun collection that is worth more than their loss. They plan to steal these guns, and make a deal with Tiwari, however, once again Murphy's Law prevails and the hapless trio find themselves on the run from a multitude of gangsters and killers - including a man who can bite through steel and a faceless 8 foot monster - who will not stop at anything to get their hands on the guns.

Plot: Anuradha lost her mother at a very young age, and her father re-married a much younger woman named Anita, who wanted Anuradha out of their lives, and forced her to drink alcohol at a very young age. By the time Anuradha was an adult she was addicted to alcohol. After the passing of her dad, she is left to run a huge estate and business single-handedly - with the assistance of her close friend, Ajit and uncle, Jamunaprasad. One day Jamunaprasad recommends Vikram for employment with her organization, she does hire him, but dislikes him a lot. When Vikram comes to her rescue, the dislike turns into love, both want to get married, and she even gives up drinking. On the day of the engagement, Ajit cautions her against Vikram and shows her some incriminating photographs of Vikram and a woman named Gita. Angered at this betrayal, she immediately cancels her engagement and decides not to have to do anything with Vikram anymore. She takes to drinking alcohol again, and decides to marry Ajit. When Jamunaprasad wants to find out the reason, she accuses him of using Vikram to conspire against her and her wealth - as she will not let anyone come between her and Ajit anymore. What she does not know is that Ajit is already married; and is also having an affair with her step-mother. Will she find out about this, before it gets too late?

Surendra and his mother are shocked, and will have nothing to do with Anuradha. Then the child, in question, is kidnapped, and held for ransom. It is then Surendra comes to know the shocking truth behind the abduction, which will change his life forever.

Plot: Classic celebration of Mithila's King Shiva Singha's (Bannerjee/Kapoor) love for his wife while chronicling the influence of the pacifist court poet Bidyapati (Sanyal). Invited to the royal court by the king, Bidyapati arrives with his faithful follower Anuradha (Kanan Devi). Queen Laxmi (Chhaya Devi) falls in love with the poet, much to the distress of the king. The king falls ill and starts neglecting his royal duties until Anuradha persuades him that true love does not need reciprocation. The queen, equally distressed by her divided loyalties, contemplates suicide, encouraged by the prime minister who is worried by the nefarious impact of Bidyapati's poetry on the king. Both the king and queen sacrifice their lives before the statue of the god Vishnu who appears to weep at the tragedy.
