Request Fill... David Gilmour & Roger Waters / Rizioule - R&M; Eurojam.

Oliver the Cat likes to reach out and pat/punch my face for attention.
He's just too cool!

===-REQUEST FILLED! (Wow)-===

Hello. Today was suddenly back to illnmess land. I just cannot speculatye or predict what each day will be. And yesterday so good to!
But I just want to post this track that Padukes asked me if I could locate and, to my surprise there was only ONE source for it. A chinese site with a bit of a different downloading system to the usual.
Install their software, called RaySourse, which, when you find a raysource link anywhere, launches into action and tra-laa! The file downloads!
Amazing too is that it had no spyware or any crap. Some ads but well...it was free. Doubt I will use it much unless I can find a search engine for RaySource links...

So the track Padukes asked about was the vaguely titled:
live! - pink floyd - david gilmore - roger waters - rizioule - r&m_eurojam
There are some spelling errors in there but, I got it and have listened and...
and...
erm...
OK, it isn't exactly disturbing or shite
but it is rather nondescript to be honest.
It didn't 'move' me in the slightest.
Just a bit of your run-of-the-mill ambient background(Dare I say background) music!
Let me know what other opinions are on this, maybe I'm being unfair!

LINK(S)

Oh, in the rar file this came in, were also some seemingly random tracks.. the names of which I just spent almost a damned HOUR trying to add my old customisation to windows 7. the right click 'Create FileList' entry! As usual Windows 7 tries to stop you doing things like this but..it be done :)
So here's the result!
Enigma & Phil Collins & Pink Floyd - Sadness.Mp3
Led Zeppelin & Pink Floyd - Stairway To Heaven.Mp3
Led Zeppelin And Pink Floyd - Whole Lotta Love On The Run.Mp3
Live! - Pink Floyd - David Gilmore - Roger Waters - Rizioule - R&M_Eurojam.Mp3
Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb (Live With Trent Reznor And David Bowie).Mp3
Pink Floyd - With The Beatles On April 15, 1967_Very Rare.Mp3
Pink Floyd Comfortably Numb Live (Bootleg) Pearl Jam Cat Stevens Tool Bachman Turner Overdrive BTO Jewel Sting Rare Rock.Mp3
Stevie Ray Vaughn, ZZ Top, Rush, The Moody Blues, ElP, The Who, Van Halen, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Kiss, - Little Wing (Rare Bootleg).Mp3

Want me to upload those too?
Little Wing sounds cool..
And that my friends is that.
For today.
Go easy: bad day today, so good day tomorrow right?!
Either way you get an album for the weekend OK.
So be here, tomorrow!
Ciao for now.

David Bowie - Strange Fascination 1974-09-05 Bootleg

Hello out there.
It's awfy quiet. Contrasting the noise inside my head, caused by the need to reduce the dose of steroids I have been taking for about 13 years. These things are fucking terrible. You don't notice it when you go on them of course, in fact they seem like some kind of miracle drug! Pretty soon after you start taking them, in my case at least, but generally, for most illnesses that respond to them, this is what happens...you go from feeling very weak, being sick and unable to eat to feeling full of energy(!) full of the joys of life(!!) and the great thing for a Crohns diseaser is that you cultivate this amazingly ravenous appetite. It is like having the munchies every waking moment for a few years!!!
If you know anything about life by now my friend you will realise already that things come at a price.
Is there such a thing as a 'miracle' drug?
I can tell you the answer is no.
You see, the magical steroid health is only a temporary help. It is a temporary 'solution' to your ill health.
Without going into it too much, let me simplify it:
Steroids reduce inflammation. Inflammation is a process that is involved in many diseases from a simple cold to HIV. These particular steroids (hydrocortisone) can reduce inflammation in so many areas of the body and in so many illnesses, they are used a lot and can seem like a cure-all at times.
Alas, they are not a light substance to ingest so much. your body produces it's own amount of this hormone (hydrocortisone) every day. You need it to live. When you get stressed, excited, scared, emotional and even just when you are walking, talking and doing your usual shit (pardon my technical jargon here, you may have to use wikipedia)you NEED this stuff. Generally, a persons body will be producing the amount they require. That's how it goes.
This isn't really the place to go right into the workings of it so let me cut to the chase..
When you are taking steroids for inflammation, you need a dose that is much higher than your body would ever produce. you take this high amount every day until your body is used to the higher level. also your body will pretty much give up and eventually stop producing any of its own, due to the fact that it is getting enough already.
This is where the problem is when you come off the shit.
Steroids also bring side effects. Shitty effects that you don't want but are guaranteed to get if you continue to go along the steroid road of fake pseudo-health and hyperactivity(!!). These are too many to list but include cataracts and diabetes as well as Osteoporosis which I already have due to them.
So I must try to reduce or come off of them altogether. The problem is that my body has almost forgotten how to produce its own and wow ... does it make me feel like shit. Talk about feeling weird. This is worse than tripping on mushrooms sometimes I swear! (I mean a bad trip, obviously)
I'm sure this diatribe will speak for itself (was that an unintentional pun-joke there...? Oh I'm probably the only one that got it so fuck it...forget it) but, just in case you didn't grasp it, it's weirdness all around. Fleeting thoughts that disappear before you grab the thread...flickering sight, things look warped and then suddenly snap back to their usual state. As you go into more days of reduction you sweat. Lots. You sit on the sofa to watch TV and you feel sweat running down your temples...then your neck is soaked and you realise just how much its making you sweat. Shaking! I never had the shakes so much in my life. Nervousness is another thing. Really nervy..
This is going to be a long haul too. I feel a wreck already to tell the truth. Fuck this and the horse it rode in on. Oh yeah, that was me.
I chose to keep taking them over the years but hey, when faced with the gut-fucking-body-wrenching alternative then who wouldn't eh?
It is only now that I am reducing them I realise just how steroid-soaked my existence is/has been.
It is highly time to get back to reality FFS!
I am so eager I almost did myself an injury by reducing them too fast. I just want to get through it to the other side. I'm on 15mg and I am to reduce by 1mg every two weeks ONLY if it feels OK. well, in the first week I reduced it 3mg.
Yeah I'm fucking hurting now. It's the end of week two.
Urgh...! I will wait a week before doing anything now.
If I make it. Heh.
I know though, its no joke.
You really can get sick if you reduce them too fast on account of your inability to make your own supply. so you can faint, fit, go into a coma and erm die if you were faced with a lack of steroid when you needed it.
Best to do it slowly then like they say. Balls.
Am I making your day go in a generally positive direction so far?
Great. :)

Welcome.
You made it through all of that so I mean it, well done.

Today is Bowie.
Ground Control to Major Tom...

Pink floyd - Azimuth Coordinator 3 Parts (6 Discs) & the Tale of The Dog Bite ...

Hello and good evening.
I got bitten by a dog about two weeks ago now.
It was pretty terrifying. Just walking across the road with my 9yr old kid and felt this collie sink its teeth into my left leg on the thigh. Pain ensued as I tried to free my leg and the dog was growling like it had rabies or something.
I spent the next three or four minutes wrestling and trying to get the bast'd thing off my leg and it wasn't trying to make it an easy game...
Eventually I pulled my leg toward my body whilst pushing the dogs neck/head away and telling the young girl holding the lead to 'PULL NOW' just at that same time, and it was free.
The result was a bit of a chunk out of my leg.

I have censored the pic below but, feel free to click on it to open in a new window, the wound, uncut. Hehe.
If you are eating, don't bother.
You don't need to see this.
No one does.

The music today is a rare treat. Ok I know, it is in MP3 and not FLAC but this is great to have for the personal MP3 player so grab it.
Pink floyd - The Azimuth Coordinator Discs.
1975 - 1980

Or in slightly more detail, three shows released as a 3 disc set:
WISH YOU WERE HERE - Vancouver, B.C, April 8th 1975.
ANIMALS - Montreal, Quebec, July 6th, 1977.
THE WALL - Los Angeles, USA, February 7th, 1980.

As the titles suggest, each show plays the tracks from those albums they are named after.
Click the image below to see it enlarged, showing the track lists.

The more musically addicted of you - or those who do not know the magic of the portable MP3 player, may be asking WHY 128K? Why no FLAC?
Leave a comment here and tell me about it. I have the FLAC too.

I just like to share a scene released version of stuff sometimes as they do a great job on a rip
and to be honest, in the ipod this sounds great.

UPDATE! - I re-ripped the FLAC files to a higher bitrate MP3. those scene release MP3s were just too low. I think they sound OK but 128K? Naa.
So now I bring you the COMPLETE set of 6 discs, ripped to HQ VBR 256-320K MP3.

I'll leave the review to the one I read myself. I'm shite at describing music sometimes and tonight is one of those times.
It's Pink Floyd, it's great friggin' music, the quality is nice for a bootleg.
***

On the Animals show:
This was the last show of the 'In The Flesh' Tour where Roger gets upset a couple of times.
At 'Pigs On The Wing' a fire cracker goes off (and not for the first time) which makes Roger so angry that he stops playing and tries to put an end to it by speaking the famous words: 'Oh for fuck sake [...] I'm trying to sing a song'.

Later on in the show, Roger allegedly spat a fan in the face ("Who was told not to spit on the fans" :-).)

David Gilmour apparently wasn't too pleased with this performance but he surely was wrong.

The show was awesome. One (if not THE) best versions of Pigs.
Steaming and powerful.
Roger can clearly be heard shouting the numbers (90 and 61)
Not just for the events that took place, but also from a musical point of view, this show is highly recommended.
***
On the Wish You Were Here show:
The crowd certainly was in an evil mood that night, you can tell
by listening to this record. Nevertheless, it makes for a showcase
of Floyd at the height of its power (save some of the vocals, as usual).
There is some remarkable, moody intensity saturating the event.
Much has been said about the show, climaxing with the final,
feverish rendition of Shine On You Crazy Diamond parts 6-9.
I would only like to mention David Gilmour, who for me reaches his
crowning event in the midst of the maelstrom of this concert.
Just listen for yourselves.
The pre-Comfortably Numb Gilmour's finest hour. -ANON

I dropped the password too and am even considering using 7-zip or some other open source compression instead of this cracked Winrar all the time...it's boring, always updating..

DO YOU USE FIREFOX?
If so then go and install Greasemonkey add-on which then enables you to do some great tricks for downloading files like these..
Now install the script for greasemonkey, called Rapidshare Links Checker. The task of this fine software and script is to make all megaupload and rapidshare links automatically LIVE and CLICKABLE, like the ones on this page for instance, no need to ever copy and paste a link again. Plus it tells you if the link is dead or not on the filehost too. Without leaving the page.
Try it...rapidshare links checker

Remember ... if you want the FLAC of this, let me know in the comments ;)

Bob Dylan & the Hawks - Hartford 30 Oct 1965 [FLAC] [bootleg]

Hello again.
Wow.
I'm on a roll here it seems!

Today I bring you something a little different. Well, it's Bob Dylan so nothing different there but it's Dylan in his very early days, playing with a band, 'The Hawks'. which is actually 'The Band' as you will no doubt have heard before, only with a member missing and another added!
Go have a wee read here if you wish.

Further info on this recording is here and I highly recommend you go read it before downloading!
This is an audience recording and, as I just learned from that link, was recorded on a Woolworth's handheld tape recorder. Quality is not great. In fact it's not even 'good'.
It's distant, it's got noise, crackles and well ... don't be expecting to put this on CD and have a crystal clear sound. It isn't happening! Hehe.
However! This is great to listen to for many reasons.
The first being that you get the chance to sit in on a concert that would have been great to go to ... Dylan, in his formative years, singing some of those tracks that were bound to become huge and are now classics that we all know.
You can almost hear the songs taking shape before they grew into the songs we know today.
I wouldn't recommend a new Dylan fan to listen to this as they may not feel the magic that I feel when I hear it, but to anyone who is a fan and loves early Dylan, you MUST get this.
You will not be disappointed!

Re-Upped! David Bowie - Live At The Kit Kat Club, NY [Nov 1999] ++GREAT SHOW!!++

Sorry but no time tonight after a long day of feeling ill.
I have been letting this thing upload all day for you so here's a great album and I just love it.
I feel that Bowies voice is too often underrated or overlooked so please, if you are not a fan, try this out!!
Just give it a chance and listen!!
this is a very mellow and relaxed show and Bowie is in fine voice and mood.
It's just sweet!
The opening track is a stunning version of Life on Mars ... he proves why he is still one of the top performers and still going strong on that track alone. The rest of the show unfolds like a flower on a lily in the centre of a cool, calm pond.
Wow, poetic or what.

Here is a page with images of this very gig for you to peruse...
Oh and another thing...want some cover art for this one??
The only cover I could find is erm...Baaaad. I will be creating CD Cover for it soon so I'll post it if anyone wants it too.
NOW FIXED!! LINKS:

Bob Dylan The Improved Genuine Telecasts 1963-2002 DVD 3 {DVD RiP} XviD

Hello world.
I do wonder how many ears or eyes this reaches. After so many times of failing to update and being too ill to bother, I developed a slight fear of looking at the site statistics. It used to be a couple of thousand or more a day. I know it isn't that now but I also know I can scale it up again once I am healthier and able to put the work in. When I am able, I still post the same and I would even if YOU were the only visitor.
You are!
Hehe.

So, no Theme Time.
A lot of people will be walking around in utter misery at this time. Some may even contemplate suicide.
Well I am here to stop suicide!

Today I am happy to announce that, finally, the man who promised to bring you 6 DVD rips of Dylan Telecasts has actually got his finger out of his arse and been working on some DVD Ripping. (Remember Disc One and Disc Two?)
It is here!
Dylan Telecasts Collection, finally I bring you Disc number Three.
Have a wee look at the screenshots here. You can click an image to see a larger one.

It's taken a bit of work and time but I believe the effort is worth it.
I am posting a clip of every track on youtube, as I did in the past, but you will be able to download the higher quality full Avi files of the rip.
I split it into two 700mb avi files encoded with XviD.
So much of this 3rd DVD was taken from old VHS transfers and other sources of varying quality that I'm afraid you just get used to it when you watch. If you were expecting HD then go away now hehe!
Bear in mind though that this is the BEST quality of these recordings to be found anywhere and so very likely no others exist.
The rips I did have not degraded the quality enough for you to notice much. I put the XviD version on my TV and then I put the same track on from the DVD...I really could not tell the difference! Honestly.
So let me just grab and paste a few details about the disc here and then furnish you with the links you will be needing.
Oh and rapidshare links are being uploaded but, not until overnight tonight. They are coming, just be patient if you can only use rapidshare.
Megaupload is up for now.

As I've said in the past, if you want to read the info on this collection then go here but there isn't much more than what I'm telling you as that is where I get my information! Hehe.

Time for the boring stuff now.

The Raconteurs - Live @ KROQ 2006 {{BOOTLEG}}

What?
Have I gone totally mad?
I mean ... another friggin' Raconteurs offering. Yeah I know. You could say it's lazy of me, not exactly straining my brain cells to think of this and offer it up for you but, being ill trumps laziness.
What I mean is, it isn't laziness but, more convenience for me, to pick something easy and to hand, whilst I hope to have a better day of health soon.

There is no getting away from the facts though people.
This is a superb band and in my opinion, any little bootleg to add to your music collection has to be a good thing!
I could only find one page about this online and to be honest its hardly worth the visit but..here.
I say 'little' as it is pretty short as they go.
It starts with an interview and then a couple of tracks...grab it and have a listen.
Hope you enjoy it.

[1972] Pink Floyd - From The Other Side {{Bootleg 3 ultra rare DSOTM tracks from Abbey Rd}}

Pink who?
Yeah. It does seem a bit of a long time since I was posting so much good bootlegs on here.
Oh well. this one is quite interesting.

Let me just copy the info I got with it to save you from my erratic nonsensical ramblings.

COPY & PASTE *on*

Pink Floyd
1972-06-xx
From The Other Side
Abbey Road Studios
London, England

Lineage: Golden Memories boot originals > wav > eac > shn > HQ VBR MP3 Full Stereo @ 44,000kHz
Quality: EX

Tracklist:
01. Time (6:06)
02. Brain Damage (3:24)
03. Us And Them (5:26)

Notes:
This RARE release is possibly from June 2 or June 3 sessions, done on a 16 track
recorder.
From the back cover:

3 ULTRA RARE ALTERNATIVE VERSIONS OF ...

TIME - no solo lead guitar after "starting gun" ... no Breate [sic] Reprise.
BRAIN DAMAGE - no laughing on fade up ... "lunatic is in my head" fade up is different from what precedes on record (which is chorus instead of instrumental section) ... "if cloud burst..." has lead guitar not on record ... no voice speech in next section, but lead guitar instead... lead guitar on end after "dark side of the moon".
US AND THEM - Sax solo at the beginning has different ending ... no echo on voice ... sax continues under voice into second verse ... into "forward he cried" ... and next verse, "black and blue" (record starts at "who's who" and goes to "up and down")... sax continues into "up and down" verse and into "haven't you heard" with no voice over.
On record the sax is the same take but just mixed in and out.

GOLDEN MEMORIES
SAIE 89031
ITALY 1989

COPY & PASTE *off*

Oh yeah and if you can make sense out of that then you're a better man than I.
Heh. I am guessing it wasn't written by someone with English as their first language.
no matter. It is in the listening that you get the point, not the reading.
Are you much of a Floyd fan?
Can you immediately spot these differences?
I hope so!
Anyway enjoy and look forward to more soon.

Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time
Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way,
The time is gone, the song is over, thought I'd something more to say...

Hello you lot.
I am going to the GONG Gig in Brighton, UK on 29th November.
Wow I really can't wait, especially after I found out that the greatest guitarist on the planet will be in attendance. That's Steve Hillage for those who are not enlightened.
Now I just have to keep the hope in my mind that when November arrives I am going to be healthy enough to go. Fingers crossed it'll be cool.
'P' in the Hole is coming too so it's going to be a blast...!

The Raconteurs LIVE AT LEEDS Festival 2006 {PRO SHOT DVD BOOTLEG>>XviD Video]

For me to simply say 'I love this band' wouldn't be enough. To say this concert is one of their best that I've managed to find as a video, would still not quite get the message across.
I swear it: This is THE gig of The Raconteurs that, amongst the ones that are available and around online, is one of the best. I've been playing it over and over on the TV whilst sitting on the PC quite a bit lately and I don't get tired of it. Still singing along.

Aug 27 2006 Leeds Festival - Leeds, UK.
That would have been some festival gig to see.
Damn.
I need to get out there and go to a festival this year.
I must see this band next time there's a chance.
I'm not up to writing much tonight so let me just say have a look at this one and see what you reckon. I ripped it from a pro shot DVD bootleg which has floated around a bit but took me a while to get on a very slow download ... It's ripped to XviD at the following..
Video Info:
Frame Width x Height: 624 x 352
Aspect Ratio : 1.773
Framerate (FPS): 25.000
Video Bitrate (kbps): 1234

Audio Info:
Audio Codec : MPEG-1 Layer 3
Audio Sample Rate (Hz): 48000
Audio Bitrate(kbps): 320
Audio Bitrate Type ): CBR
Audio Channel Count: 2

Quality?

Great of course...what did you think I would do a crap rip?

EDIT: It must have been a weird glitch in mediaplayer but the file I ripped is the whole concert!! No problems with it at all, sorry for the mistake :)

The sound is clear and really crisp so it's nice.

Christmas, Commercialism and Britney Spears Naked pics

MERRY XMAS

Well my friends, no sooner do I look around my life and it appears another year has drizzled by without my noticing it too much.
I usually am the type of person who, when it gets to Xmas, people jolly and all that shit, I get irritated and don't really enjoy taking part!
Yep, I am a miserable git!

For those of you wondering about the Britney Spear Naked Pics reference in the title, scroll down and you will see....

I have one of those unfortunate voices...you know, the type that tries so hard to sound convincing and sincere but, for some strange reason... I always come off sounding like a sarcastic, ungrateful bastard!
Imagine the scenario:
My friend hands me a gift and I open it.
As I unwrap it, I realise it is something I really have wanted for myself for ages and am so pleased to see it there!!!
I utter something like 'Wow' Oh this is great!!' and as I look at his face it is obvious that my comments sounded so sarcastic that they sounded to him, more like 'Oh great...what crap is this!'
If I carry on and try to sound even more convincing it usually just makes a deeper hole for me...
I finish opening the gift and declare...'no really, I have been wanting one of these for ages'
I can see and hear that it sounded like I was trying to convince him I liked it, when in actual fact I thought it was shit.
The look on everyones face in the room is also one of 'What an ungrateful shit he is eh..'
I'm sure you get the idea.
However!! this is NOT the reason I like to become Ebeneezer Scrooge at yuletide. The reason for this is a few really.
I detest the commercial aspect of it.
There is no traditional Xmas holiday any more.
It is ALL about buying.
Buy this!
Buy that!
Yes it is made of cheap plastic and won't last longer than by Easter but by then you can buy more crap!
BUY!
BUY! BUY!

Kids! Get your parents to buy this!
Get them to buy more!!

It all fucking sucks balls.
Also people don't get into the much fabled 'spirit of Christmas' any more do they...?
People are still as fuckin' miserable as ever in the streets as far as I can see.
Me too though so I'm not helping eh?
Whatever.
I'd love a return to the Christmas days of old times (the romantic ideal I have in my mind probably never existed anyway but I like it!).
A family, a big meal with everyone helping out, setting the table etc. A roaring log fire where we site after the meal and watch some crap family movie by Disney or whatever.
Then the alcohol comes out if it hasn't already and for the rest of the day people gorge themselves on their particular thing: Drinking, smoking, eating, more eating, more drinking...etc.
Then it ends with a few embarrassing incidents with drunken Father or something along those lines!
Oh and the gifts would all be wooden..hehe.
And the kids should get, in their Xmas stocking...a piece of fruit. And they would be really thankful for it!
Heh. Now I am talking absolute fantasy!!
Kids - fruit?
Paaah.

humbug.

Do I have any music for you...erm, not really I am afraid but I think I upped some tom waits boots a week ago so let me see if I have those links.
Hang on!!
I just remembered I wanted to share some Jim white stuff with you...I love this guy. An album called Wrong-eyed Jesus is brilliant and I will post this...you must hear it!
I am not very well prepared because....
I am leaving today for a week away to have Xmas with my Mum.
so this is the first Xmas for a few years where I have decided to actually get into it!

MERRY XMAS!

===============

Check the next post for music. If there aint one, then there aint any this time.
When I return on Sunday 29th, after a day of rest I will post some great tunes OK.
Hope you all have a good time over the holidays.
Whatever you may do.

Fancy a bit? (probably not actually, those are guys! hehe)

The Britney Spears Naked Pics reference in the title?

I just thought I'd let the people come via google under false pretences.
I mean, they shouldn't be searching for such thiongs anyway.
Perverts.

Tom Waits - San Diego Folk Festival [4-19-74]

Hello again. I think, whilst I await my encoding of theme Time for this week, I will treat you to the next in the series of posts of Tom Waits Bootlegs.

This one is, as I will describe probably all of them to you, a great listen.
Way back when the earth was young and Tom Waits didn't look like a grandpa (hehe) he had a really definitive voice.
Much more, in my opinion, than he does today.
Most artists I find kind of grow into their voice and as they age it gets to sound even better but I think Waits is the exception here. I don't mean that to sound like I think he has a shit voice these days - I don't.
I just think that back in the day, the day that this show is from, he had something close to god-like when he sang certain songs and hit certain raspy noted with that gravelly growl of a voice.
You may or may not agree.
How will I ever know you never leave a friggin' comment.
Heh.

I'm no bootlegs expert-nerd that knows everything.
In fact, I know little more than nothing.
I do know what sounds good though and this is it.

I can give you a tracklist of course!

1. Better Off Without a Wife (2:31)
2. On a Foggy Night (3:41)
3. Shiver Me Timbers (3:47)
4. Fumblin with the Blues (3:04)
5. San Diego Serenade (3:07)
6. Glad That You're Gone (3:54)
7. Ice Cream Man (2:31)
8. Depot Depot (3:25)
9. The Ghosts of Saturday Night (4:07)

Duration : 30:11

(Mind you, I'd be older now if I had been born earlier...Hmm fuck that. Feel old enough).

Bob Dylan The Improved Genuine Telecasts 1963-2002 DVD 2 {DVD RiP} XviD

Hello? Is this for real?
He-llo-o-o?
Yes you read that title right. Somewhere, in the darkness of the depths of the candyfloss of the forgotten realms of time and space that is my mind, an unknown and somewhat erratic force has spewn forth the next DVD in the set of the Genuine Improved Telecasts Bootlegs that I kind of promised you a while back.
That day has come my friends so, for those of you brave enough to still be here, your reward is now.

As before, I have taken the original DVD and re-encoded it to XviD so I can upload a bit of a smaller, AVI file. This time I made two avi files of about 700MB each, to keep good quality and audio quality too. (The first disc is encoded to only one single 70MB avi file). Maybe I will redo that one.
The result, as always is with my 'film stuff' on the PC, is great (I can't be humble as I am always trying to perfect my video encoding/editing abilities and I really am pretty damn good at it hehe).

For some information on this you can visit this page but you won't find out anything more than what I am about to tell you..that is, the tracks on the film and the order they come in as well as where they are originally from.

Firstly, let me give you some details about film bitrate etc...

--- File Information ---

File ONE: 001_Dylan Telecasts Disc Two.avi
Running Time (hh:mm:ss): 58:30.542
File Size (in bytes): 732,813,312

File TWO: 002_Dylan Telecasts Disc Two.avi
Running Time (hh:mm:ss): 1:01:29
File Size (in bytes): 744,914,944

--- Video Information ---
Video Codec: XviD ISO MPEG-4
Video Bitrate (kbps): 1402
Resolution: 544x384
Aspect Ratio: 1.417
Framerate: 29.970

--- Audio Information ---
Audio Codec: 0x0055 MPEG-1 Layer 3
Audio Bitrate(kbps): 256
Audio Sample Rate (Hz): 48000
Audio Bitrate Type: CBR
Audio Channels: 2

And now on to the track list...
The numbering convention is simple.
The full set comprises 6 DVDs.
So the first track on disc one is '01'. Therefore the tracks on disc two
just follow on from where Disc ONE left off at track 29.

{ VIDEO ! } Steve Hillage - University Of Kent [Canterbury 1979] XviD

Hey fans. How goes your life.
Mine is trundling along as usual but nothing around here is 'as usual' at the moment.
I decided to put myself on an 'exclusion diet' about 8 days ago. this was my attempt to gain control of my illness and try to make myself get better too. Well, I have definitely been feeling better today!
It is a long LONG time since I was able to say or write that sentence and it feels good :)
There's a long way to go yet but for now, the diet is helping.
And on with todays offering...

Steve Hillage!
The man who can almost bring a tear to my eye when he lets his soul out and spreads hiw unique form of mastery over the guitar!
the man who is NOT included in 'Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Guitarists' list.
Tossers obviously don't know much about much! I mean - Kurt Cobain is in the friggin' list!?
Hillage is overlooked and underrated and I'm not really sure why.
It could be his look.
(hehe)
It could be his long-term affiliation to all things 'drug' and 'new-age'. And that's new age in the 'leylines, pixies and standing stones and energy from pyramids' sense of the word, not meditation CD specials that you pick up from a bargain bin.
There must be some reason he isn't more well known or talked about, even in circles such as the 100 greatest guitarists of all time list by Rolling Stone magazine. Funny that.
Well I hereby award STEVE HILLAGE the MP3@3pm award for the second best guitarist ever.
I am sure he will be delighted when he finds out.
(I won't tell him as he may get pissed about me posting his stuff)
Well folks on with the show...
I know a few of you liked what you heard with the previous hillage posting, coincidentaly, the audio version of this very show!
It may not then surprise you to learn that this is the video of said show and it's even better to see what you are hearing, if you know what I mean.
The tracklist is slightly different for this..do not ask me why or how but it seems to be..

As usual recently I have only uploaded to one filehost: Megaupload.com.
Now, if you cannot download from there for some reason then do these two things please: Leave a comment and tell me what the problem is with megaupload that stops you having your downloads. (Is it telling you your country hasd no slots allocated to it or is it telling you to buy a premium account or.. something else?)
Let me know ok!

Some file details and then the links.
I really really want you all to enjoy this as much as I have and I assure you the quality is as good as the DVD I ripped it from, which was a custom-made DVD taken from a Japanese TV broadcast of what was first Filmed and broadcast by the BBC with a show called "Rock Goes to College". I couldn't find the BBC version but I hear it has a time code running across the screen. Well, in a couple of speech parts(very few!) there is Japanese subtitling at the bottom.
It makes no difference believe me though, of course it is always nice to get a pure 'clean' copy.
