    After spending tens of thousands, I just stopped going to the doctor. I can’t afford to properly manage my condition. And it certainly doesn’t help when people with chronic illness often have their ability to work severely impacted leaving them less financially able.

    The attention is on the out of pocket expenses for cancer, but the biggest group impacted by this are people with chronic illness. This needs significant reform and more patient voices please.
