An unnamed individual has taken a leap off the new Mandurah Bridge, which was captured by a concerned onlooker on Thursday.
A Mandurah Mail reader said he was sitting back "contemplating the day and watching the traffic go by from The Bridge garden bar".
"Spotted bare footed, shirtless yobbo head rotating grinning from ear to ear and thought to myself, 'he's as high as a kite on something'," he said.
The reader said he didn't have to wait long before the man leapt into the water, just missing the boats from bruising below.
