Nachwuchs für Deutschlands größte Showreihe "The Voice of Germany": In drei "Blind Auditions" präsentieren sich die jungen Sängerinnen und Sänger (8-14 Jahre) den drei Coaches. Wer sich in den "Battle"-Shows beweisen kann, zieht direkt ins Finale ein.
2015 sind die Coaches bei The Voice Kids wieder Pop-Ikone Lena Meyer-Landrut, Revolverheld-Frontmann Johannes Strate und als Neuzugang der Singer Songwriter Mark Forster, der gemeinsam mit Sido im Sommer 2014 den Hit „Au Revoir“ feierte und Henning Wehlands Platz als Coach einnimmt.
Die Coaches sitzen in den Blind Auditions mit dem Rücken zur Bühne und hören zunächst ausschließlich die Stimme. Erst, wenn diese überzeugt hat und einer der drei berühmten Coaches den Sänger oder die Sängerin in ihrem oder seinem Team haben will, drückt der Coach den Buzzer und dreht sich um, um das Talent zu sehen. In den anschließenden Battle-Shows singen die Talente zu dritt gemeinsam einen Song. Der Coach jedes Teams entscheidet sich, welche seiner drei Talente er mit in die Finalshows nimmt. Im Halbfinale singt jedes Kind einen einzelnen Song und aus den 5 Talenten pro Team entscheidet sich der Coach für 2 Finalisten. Jeder Finalist singt im großen Finale einen Song allein und einen mit seinem Coach. Dann entscheiden die Zuschauer, wer „The Voice Kids“ 2015 gewinnt und eine Ausbildungsförderung in Höhe von 15.000 Euro sowie einen optionalen Plattenvertrag erhält.

The Voice (TV series)
The Voice is a reality television singing competition franchise. It is based on the reality singing competition The Voice of Holland, which was originally created by Dutch television producer John de Mol. Many other countries have adapted the format and began airing their own versions since 2011. It has become a rival to the Idols franchise and The X Factor.
History
John de Mol, creator of Big Brother, first created The Voice concept with Dutch singer Roel van Velzen. The show distinguishes itself as different from The X Factor and Idols as The Voice primarily focuses on singing ability and prowess of an artist alone.
On September 17, 2010, The Voice of Holland began to air on RTL 4 with Angela Groothuizen, Roel van Velzen, Nick & Simon, and Jeroen van der Boom as the mentor-judges (dubbed as "coaches") of the show. The show proved to be an instant success in the Netherlands.
The format was later sold to different countries.
Format
Contestants are aspiring singers drawn from public auditions. The show's format features four stages of competition. The first is the blind auditions, in which the four coaches, all noteworthy recording artists, listen to the contestants in chairs facing away from the stage so as to avoid seeing them. If a coach likes what they hear from that contestant, they press a button to rotate their chairs to signify that they are interested in working with that contestant. If more than one coach presses their button, the contestant chooses the coach he or she wants to work with. The blind auditions end when each coach has a set number of contestants to work with. Coaches will dedicate themselves to developing their singers mentally, musically and in some cases physically, giving them advice, and sharing the secrets of their success.

Max Raabe
Max Raabe (born Matthias Otto, December 12, 1962, Lünen, North Rhine-Westphalia) is a German singer. He is best known as the founder and leader of the Palast Orchester.
Career
Raabe developed an interest in the sound of German dance and film music of the 1920s and 1930s, such as the songs of the Comedian Harmonists, from seeing old films on television and from his parents' record collection. He formally studied music at the Berlin University of the Arts, intending originally to become a baritone opera singer. He and eleven other students formed the Palast Orchester in 1985. The ensemble initially used music arrangements that Raabe found whilst shopping at various flea markets. The orchestra worked for one year to learn these arrangements without any public engagements or performances. The orchestra first performed publicly at the 1987 Berlin Theaterball, in the lobby as a secondary act, but with such success that the audience left the ballroom to hear the orchestra's performance in the lobby. Raabe and the Palast Orchester had a hit with his 1992 original, Schlager-styled song "Kein Schwein ruft mich an" (literal translation "No pig ever calls me", meaning "No-one ever calls me"), a pop song in 1920s style.

Die Coaches sitzen in den Blind Auditions mit dem Rücken zur Bühne und hören zunächst ausschließlich die Stimme. Erst, wenn diese überzeugt hat und einer der drei berühmten Coaches den Sänger oder die Sängerin in ihrem oder seinem Team haben will, drückt der Coach den Buzzer und dreht sich um, um das Talent zu sehen. In den anschließenden Battle-Shows singen die Talente zu dritt gemeinsam einen Song. Der Coach jedes Teams entscheidet sich, welche seiner drei Talente er mit in die Finalshows nimmt. Im Halbfinale singt jedes Kind einen einzelnen Song und aus den 5 Talenten pro Team entscheidet sich der Coach für 2 Finalisten. Jeder Finalist singt im großen Finale einen Song allein und einen mit seinem Coach. Dann entscheiden die Zuschauer, wer „The Voice Kids“ 2015 gewinnt und eine Ausbildungsförderung in Höhe von 15.000 Euro sowie einen optionalen Plattenvertrag erhält.
