Jorge & Mateus

Jorge & Mateus (sometimes written as Jorge e Mateus) is a musical duo and one of the most famous interpreters of música sertaneja. The duo is composed of Goiás, Brazil-based vocalists Jorge Alves Barcelos (born August 27, 1982) and Mateus Pedro Liduário de Oliveira (born July 15, 1986). Both are from the city of Itumbiara, in the Brazilian state of Goiás and are signed to Universal Music label.

Jorge studied law school and Matheus agronomy. Each of them started singing sertaneja songs individually, and their careers met in 2005. They started performing in bars and concert halls in Goiás regions. In 2007, they released their first album produced by a record company Universal Music called Jorge & Mateus - Ao Vivo em Goiânia, a live concert with accompanying DVD. The song "Pode Chorar" became greatly celebrated and awarded Gold Record by ABPD, after having sold more than 100,000 paid downloads in Brazil. It was followed by "De tanto te querer" that was used in the soundtrack of the soap opera A Favorita, da Rede Globo.

Trousers

Trousers (pants in North America) are an item of clothing worn from the waist to the ankles, covering both legs separately (rather than with cloth extending across both legs as in robes, skirts, and dresses).

In the UK the word "pants" generally means underwear and not trousers.Shorts are similar to trousers, but with legs that come down only to around the area of the knee, higher or lower depending on the style of the garment. To distinguish them from shorts, trousers may be called "long trousers" in certain contexts such as school uniform, where tailored shorts may be called "short trousers", especially in the UK.

In most of the Western world, trousers have been worn since ancient times and throughout the Medieval period, becoming the most common form of lower-body clothing for adult males in the modern world, although shorts are also widely worn, and kilts and other garments may be worn in various regions and cultures. Breeches were worn instead of trousers in early modern Europe by some men in higher classes of society. Since the mid-20th century, trousers have increasingly been worn by women as well. Jeans, made of denim, are a form of trousers for casual wear, now widely worn all over the world by both sexes. Shorts are often preferred in hot weather or for some sports and also often by children and teenagers. Trousers are worn on the hips or waist and may be held up by their own fastenings, a belt or suspenders (braces). Leggings are form-fitting trousers, of a clingy material, often knitted cotton and spandex (elastane).

Leandro Paredes

Leandro Daniel Paredes (born 29 June 1994) is an Argentine footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Italian club Empoli on loan from Roma.

Career

Early career

Paredes made his league debut for Boca Juniors in a 2–0 away defeat to Argentinos Juniors on 6 November 2010. On 29 January 2014, he joined Italian Serie A outfit Chievo Verona on loan for the rest of the 2013–14 season.

Move to Italy

It was revealed that Roma agreed to sign Paredes from Boca Juniors on loan with €4.5 million pre-set price, however Roma ran out of non-EU registration quota for international transfer. He was signed by Chievo instead.

Roma

On 19 July 2014 Paredes joined Roma in temporary deal. On 27 September 2014, Paredes made his Roma debut, as a second-half substitute in the 2–0 win against Hellas Verona. On 8 February 2015, Paredes scored his first Roma goal in the 2-1 victory against Cagliari.

Empoli (loan)

On 31 August 2015, Paredes joined Empoli on a season long loan.
