The Beat Generation was a group of authors whose literature explored and influenced American culture in the post-World War II era.
The bulk of their work was published and popularized throughout the 1950s. Central elements of Beat culture are rejection of standard narrative values, the spiritual quest, exploration of American and Eastern religions, rejection of materialism, explicit portrayals of the human condition, experimentation with psychedelic drugs, and sexual liberation and exploration.
Allen Ginsberg's Howl (1956), William S. Burroughs's Naked Lunch (1959) and Jack Kerouac's On the Road (1957) are among the best known examples of Beat literature. Both Howl and Naked Lunch were the focus of obscenity trials that ultimately helped to liberalize publishing in the United States. The members of the Beat Generation developed a reputation as new bohemian hedonists, who celebrated non-conformity and spontaneous creativity.
The core group of Beat Generation authors – Herbert Huncke, Allen Ginsberg, William S. Burroughs, Lucien Carr, and Jack Kerouac – met in 1944 in and around the Columbia University campus in New York City. Later, in the mid-1950s, the central figures (with the exception of Burroughs and Carr) ended up together in San Francisco where they met and became friends of figures associated with the San Francisco Renaissance.
The Beatles were an English rock band, formed in Liverpool in 1960. With members John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, they became widely regarded as the foremost and most influential act of the rock era. Rooted in skiffle, beat, and 1950s rock and roll, the Beatles later experimented with several genres, ranging from pop ballads and Indian music to psychedelia and hard rock, often incorporating classical elements in innovative ways. In the early 1960s, their enormous popularity first emerged as "Beatlemania", but as the group's music grew in sophistication, led by primary songwriters Lennon and McCartney, they came to be perceived as an embodiment of the ideals shared by the counterculture of the 1960s.
The Beatles built their reputation playing clubs in Liverpool and Hamburg over a three-year period from 1960, with Stuart Sutcliffe initially serving as bass player. The core of Lennon, McCartney and Harrison went through a succession of drummers, most notably Pete Best, before asking Starr to join them. Manager Brian Epstein moulded them into a professional act and producer George Martin enhanced their musical potential. They gained popularity in the United Kingdom after their first hit, "Love Me Do", in late 1962. They acquired the nickname "the Fab Four" as Beatlemania grew in Britain over the following year, and by early 1964 they had become international stars, leading the "British Invasion" of the United States pop market. From 1965 onwards, the Beatles produced what many consider their finest material, including the innovative and widely influential albums Rubber Soul (1965), Revolver (1966), Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967), The Beatles (commonly known as the White Album, 1968) and Abbey Road (1969).

In the 40th anniversary of the recording and launch of the master piece of The Beatles: "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band", to pay tribute to them, The Beats decided to record an exact version of this album that due to its complex sounds revolutionised the history of modern music. While they were starting to make this Project, they informed EMI in England (with whom they had already worked in 2000) and Emi’s managers, not even doubting for a minute, invited The Beats to finish recording the album in the same place where The Beatles made it 40 years ago: "EMI Abbey Road Studio Nº2 London-England". During the sessions in Abbey Road, The Beats worked with Chris Bolster, engineer in EMI who had been working for ten years together with George Martin and participated in the last production...

They have been praised by Allan Williams in England (first manager of the Beatles) who said: "They sounded even better than the Beatles when I took them to Hamburg" and Alistair Taylor (Brian Epstein’s personal assistant) who said: "It looks as if the Beatles were born again". Furthermore, they were recognized with important articles in the British newspapers Daily Post and Liverpool Echo. They were proud to represent Argentina once again in the "Rose Festival" in Hiroshima, Japan (Festival to commemorate the anniversary of the Atomic Bomb, May 1997), playing for ten thousand ...

I am leeting my thoughts flow
Thinking of people
Thinking of places
That I have seen
My life is changing
Everyday
But nevertheless
It is still the same
Remember the girls
