It also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your personal information and how you can access and update this information. We follow this privacy policy in accordance with local law in the places where we operate.

We collect two basic types of information – personal information and anonymous information – and we may use personal and anonymous information to create a third type of information, aggregate information . We collect the following categories of information:

Fusion will be the data controller for your information. Along with Fusion, other Fusion Entities, which include ABC News Ventures LLC and Univision Networks & Studios, Inc., will have access to your information, unless prohibited under applicable law, for the following purposes:

  1. Online Tracking Technologies
  • Technologies such as: cookies, first and third party identifiers, beacons, tags and scripts are used by Fusion and our partners (e.g. marketing partners, advertising partners), affiliates, or analytics or service providers. These technologies are used in analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movements around the site and gathering demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual as well as aggregated basis. For example, certain Google Analytics Advertising Features are implemented on our site.

Our blog is managed by a third party application that may require you to register to post a comment. We do not have access to or control of the information posted to the blog. You will need to contact or login into the third party application if you want the personal information that was posted to the comments section removed.   1. Social Media Features Widgets

Our Web site includes social media features, such as the Facebook Like button and widgets, the Share this button or interactive mini-programs that run on our Web site (“Features”). These Features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly. Features are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. Your interactions with these Features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

If you choose to use our “Share the Wealth” feature, we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site. Fusion does not store this information.

Definitions
