Bats are mammals of the order Chiroptera (/kaɪˈrɒptərə/; from the Greek χείρ - cheir, "hand" and πτερόν - pteron, "wing") whose forelimbs form webbed wings, making them the only mammals naturally capable of true and sustained flight. By contrast, other mammals said to fly, such as flying squirrels, gliding possums, and colugos, can only glide for short distances. Bats do not flap their entire forelimbs, as birds do, but instead flap their spread-out digits, which are very long and covered with a thin membrane or patagium.
Bats are the second largest order of mammals (after the rodents), representing about 20% of all classified mammal species worldwide, with about 1,240 bat species divided into two suborders: the less specialized and largely fruit-eating megabats, or flying foxes, and the highly specialized and echolocating microbats. About 70% of bat species are insectivores. Most of the rest are frugivores, or fruit eaters. A few species, such as the fish-eating bat, feed from animals other than insects, with the vampire bats being hematophagous, or feeding on blood.
Clash Royale is a 2016 freemium mobile strategy video game developed and published by Supercell, a video game company based in Helsinki, Finland. The game was soft-launched in Canada, Hong Kong, Australia, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Finland and New Zealand for iOS platforms on January 4, 2016. More countries will be added in the near future as Supercell receives feedback about the game. The date for the game's release globally and on the Android platform is March 2016.
Clash Royale is a real-time strategy game where players collect and upgrade different cards that are based on characters from the Clash of Clans universe. Each card is unique, and you can only have 8 in a non deck at a time. They are used with the goal of destroying your opponent's towers. Victories lead to more cards, trophies and glory. Players can unlock new arenas, challenge other players online, and form clans to share cards and participate in private duels.
There are three main types of chests in Clash Royale. You get a free chest every four hours, but you can only store two of these at a time. They must be collected to activate the countdown timer for your next free chest. Crown chests are available every 24 hours. Crown chests offer free loot, cards and sometimes gems. To unlock them, you must earn 10 crowns in multiplayer battles. The final type of chests, treasure chests, come in three varieties: the silver chest, gold chest, and magical chest. These chests will be given to you whenever you win a battle (given that you have free chest slots available) and they can also be purchased using gems.

Bats of the genus Pteropus, belonging to the megabat suborder, Megachiroptera, are the largest bats in the world. They are commonly known as the fruit bats or flying foxes among other colloquial names. They live in the tropics and subtropics of Asia (including the Indian subcontinent), Australia, East Africa, and a number of remote oceanic islands in both the Indian and Pacific Oceans. At least 60 extant species are in this genus.
The oldest ancestors of the genus Pteropus to be unearthed appear in the fossil record almost exactly as they are today, the only notable differences being early flight adaptations such as a tail for stabilizing. The oldest megachiropteran is dated about 35 million years ago, but the preceding gap in the fossil record makes their true lineage unknown.
Characteristically, all species of flying foxes only feed on nectar, blossoms, pollen, and fruit, which explains their limited tropical distribution. They do not possess echolocation, a feature which helps the other suborder of bats, the microbats, locate and catch prey such as insects in midair. Instead, smell and eyesight are very well-developed in flying foxes. Feeding ranges can reach up to 40 miles. When it locates food, the flying fox "crashes" into foliage and grabs for it. It may also attempt to catch hold of a branch with its hind feet, then swing upside down; once attached and hanging, the fox draws food to its mouth with one of its hind feet or with the clawed thumbs at the top of its wings.

Learn all about the amazing world of bats!
Secrets and Mysteries of Bats - Nature Documentary This 48-minute documentary explores the world of bats and the scientists who study them -- including the late Donald Griffin, a Harvard zoologist who was the first to describe their echolocation ability in the 1940s. Using 3-D graphics to recreate the bats' acoustic vision and shooting with infra-red and high-speed cameras, this film offers an exhilarating "bats-eye" journey into the night.
Bats may fly in the night, but there's no reason to fear these amazing mammals! Bats are one of the most common types of mammals on the planet and live on almost every continent. Most bats eat insects, some eat fruit, some eat nectar, and a few even eat blood. They are amazing creatures: not only are they the only flying mammal, but they also use echolocation to find their food and navigate in total darkness. Bats are cool! This is Jeddah. He loves to be tickled, petted and scratched. Look at that blissful face. Jeddah is a Grey-Headed Flying-Fox. I usually clip my videos quite short when it's all one behaviour being shown, but this bliss went on and on and I just couldn't bring myself to deprive you of any of the lengthy joy. I particularly loved the yawny and sniffy bits about half way through. And I love the curl of the tongue as he yawns. This bat was not releasable due to injuries. He is in care with a vaccinated and licensed bat carer. This bat is not a pet. He was a baby hand raised for release, and became an education animal. He is used to being handled. He actively solicits attention and cuddles. There have been suggestions that this bat is terrified and the squeaks are not cute. This bat i...

I met this bloke who looked like a ghost
I’ve soon find out that he was not
He was a genuine count from Transylvania
He said: “Marry me. That’s where I’ll take you
To a ruined castle on the top of a cliff
Where the air’s so cold it will freeze your tits”
And there he taught me how to fly
Two lovers together in the purple sky
And we had bats for dinner and bats for tea
Bats for him and bats for me
A big fat rat for Sunday roast
For breakfast we had bats on toast
And when the cooking became a chaw
We just chopped them up and eat them raw
Or opened the window facing south
And let them fly straight in our mouths
Bats for dinner, bats for tea
Bats for dinner, bats for tea
Bats for dinner, bats for tea
Bats for tea
Neighbours didn’t like us much
They seemed to bear some sort of a grudge
Attacked the castle with flaming torches,
Burned the stables and stole the Porshes
Then our local vicar, a miserable tart,
Stabbed a wooden stake through my boyfriend’s heart
I escaped, but I’m alone again
In a one-room flat in Sydenham
And there’s no bats for dinner, no bats for tea,
No bats from the graves or the belfry
It’s peas and cabbage or Sunday roast
And if I’m lucky – beans on toast
And when the cooking becomes a chaw
I’ll just chop them up and eat them raw
And think of how things used to be
When there was just my count and me
There’s no fairy-tale castles in the sky,
But the room’s so cold it would make you cry
And still sometimes at night I fly
Over London’s dark grey sky
And think of him in another world
And hope he’s waiting for his girl
And there united we will be
Together forever for eternity
And there’ll be bats for dinner and bats for tea
Bats for him and bats for me
A big fat rat for Sunday roast
For breakfast we’ll have bats on toast
And when the cooking becomes a chaw
We’ll just chop them up and eat them raw
Or open the window facing south
And let them fly straight in our mouths
Bats for dinner, bats for tea
Bats for dinner, bats for tea
Bats for dinner, bats for tea
