First report on the partnership between the EU and UNDP in the Arab States was released in Brussels. Entitled “Empowering people and building peaceful societies”, the report showcases results of the many initiatives carried out, impacting the lives of millions of people across the region, including Iraq.

Supported by UN-Habitat and UNDP, Najaf and Karbala will have urban development strategies.
“Very few women work in my village, so my beauty shop will be the first,” said Ms. Zahra.
