Ah yes our beloved (sarcasm) President who yet makes another gaffe as he reads a speech prepared for him and winds up offending the entire country of Poland with an interesting take on history by calling the Nazi death camps Polish death camps. I would have to assume that the President doesn’t proof or read over speeches prior to public reading. Perhaps it’s time to start now. In an election year with a falling approval rating, he can’t afford to offend anyone.

Pigeon Wing you should go back to the park where you came from. My comment about Obama’s historical blunder is based on FACT not sectarian hatred and since the President has made so many gaffes throughout his tenure, I was pointing out how it adds up to incompetence including his court jester VP Biden too and the both of them appearing to have had one too many martinis during TV interviews and speaking engagements. Heads of State should be more responsible.

As a far leftist, I’ve been critical of the Obama administration because though he claims to be a leftist, his record proves otherwise. I don’t believe the Democratic party in America represents the views of the far left and I’m sure many Marxists like myself would agree with me. Democrats are still capitalists and no matter how they try to trick people into thinking they represent us, they are still on the team called capitalism.

Deborah you are an idiot. The propaganda epithet was aimed not at this cartoon which was described as intelligent but the picture of a dog shitting on Obama’s face recycled from Tea Party sources that found its way onto this site recently.
That and your comment above make it sound that you are not interested in winning the oppressed minorities, workers and the poor who currently have illusions in Obama to the banner of marxism but are more concerned to appeal to the racist, fascistic Tea Party elements.
Marty, I AM AN OPPRESSED MINORITY! I have multiple disabilities and do I think that the Obama administration, who has caved into Republican pressure many times when it comes to cuts to social security that hurt the elderly and disabled, represents people like me? No absolutely not. Critical entitlements have been slashed since he took office but yet the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy continue thanks to the President. As my health began to deteriorate again this spring at least I have an advocate representing me in my fight for benefits.He doesn’t represent my demographic. I didn’t ask to be run over by a car and wouldn’t wish the suffering I’ve experienced on anyone. People with disabilities are a minority that go uncared for in America every day.

And I certainly wouldn’t even close to associate myself with the Tea Party since they are a group that supports entitlement cuts to the elderly and disabled and are represented by the bourgeois one percent population of America, all things that I detest about this country I live in. I think the perception you have of me is all wrong. I am among the less fortunate financially and the survivor of a traumatic brain injury which classifies me among the disabled. I don’t think Obama has people like me in mind when he implements policies that make life harder for us after giving Republicans the cuts they want and it’s always to social security and medicare. How about making the wealthy pay taxes? Obama always talks about taxing them, but does nothing. This is what frustrates me the most.

Speaking of our dear President, I think this leaking of classified information to civilian film directors is going to become the Watergate of today. The problem I have with it is how freely this information was passed out to these directors, whose backgrounds weren’t checked, and were given access to top secret areas of the CIA building so they can make a movie about the raid on Bin Laden as reported by numerous news outlets. Members of Obama’s camp wanted the movie released before the election. I guess this was to remind voters of his crowning achievement. I don’t agree with our government’s military policies, but this deliberate leaking of information not only puts American civilians in danger but also our troops worldwide and was irresponsible. The President must’ve known. He would do ANYTHING to get re-elected mirroring Nixon and he might wind up exactly like him forced to walk away in disgrace after being corrupted by power.

Our beloved President has said that he is offended by anyone who accuses him or his administration of leaking classified information to the press. Well someone or more than one person did who had a great deal of detailed knowledge that would make the President appear tough on terror and foreign policy. It’s ironic that I’m writing this post today on the 40th anniversary of the Watergate break in. Wasn’t it Richard Nixon who said he knew nothing of the break in? Has a familiar ring to it when Obama denies having knowledge of the leaks. History has a way of repeating itself.

And why won’t the President appoint a Special Prosecutor to investigate the leaks? Obviously if he’s so opposed to it, he’s hiding something. We can’t expect Washington to police itself. Eric Holder is facing contempt of congress for the fast and furious gun running operation so his integrity is questionable. What’s needed is an unbiased Special Prosecutor. From what I understand after listening to political experts is if Obama was behind the leaks or had direct knowledge of, it’s grounds for impeachment. If it turns out he was involved, it would mean that he used the Presidency and the power that comes with the position for political advancement and that’s exactly what Richard Nixon did and we know how that story ended.
