Gunderson was attending the Route 91 Harvest Festival on Sunday night when he was horrifically injured when Stephen Paddock, 64, sprayed bullets on more than 20,000 concertgoers. Gunderson said he was running toward Mandalay Bay when a bullet pierced his leg. President Trump and First Lady Melania flew to Las Vegas where they visited several victims of the shooting on Wednesday. But they were surprised when Gunderson stood up to greet both of them despite his leg injury - and a family member captured the entire moment on video.

LV killer's girlfriend says she never expected violence

The girlfriend of the Las Vegas gunman claims that she thought he sent her to the Philippines and sent her $100,000 in order to break up with her. Marilou Danley (pictured bottom-right in Facebook photo and bottom-left being wheeled out of LAX airport on Tuesday night), 62, said in a statement through her lawyer Matthew Paddock (top) Wednesday that then-boyfriend Stephen Paddock, 64, had bought her a 'cheap' ticket to the Philippines two weeks ago, out of the blue. He suggested she visit her family, something she was happy to do, she claimed. But when he wired the massive sum to her during her stay there, she began to worry that he was breaking up with her, she said. She had no idea that Paddock was planning Sunday's rampage, which claimed 59 lives, including his own, and injured 527 people, she said. 

Jill Lamontagne is indicted on 14 sexual assault charges

A married health teacher from Maine has been indicted on multiple sexual assault charges after being accused of repeatedly having sex with her 17-year-old student. Jill Lamontagne (left in arrest photo and right with her husband and son), 29, has been charged with six counts of gross sexual assault, two counts of unlawful sexual contact, and six counts of sexual abuse of a minor in Kennebunk on Wednesday. The mother-of-two was released on $1,000 bail and is scheduled to be in York County Superior Court on December 22. The claims against her came to light in mid-June after the alleged victim attempted to commit suicide.

Matthew Cobos was photographed on Sunday night lying on top of a young woman in an attempt to shield her from the barrage of bullets tearing through the air around them. DailyMail.com understand Cobos also covered the blonde woman's eyes in a bid to stop her from seeing the carnage around them. Moments later, Cobos and the woman got up and they ran to safety behind a nearby car. Once Cobos got the woman to safety, he then ran back into the danger zone to help others who had been injured.
