Wisconsin’s demonstrations to keep the right to collective bargain for you life in the middle class, gives new meaning to the song and phrase “On Wisconsin.” So I say “On Wisconsin! Run right through that line!”
This is probably some of the best stuff I’ve seen in this country, maybe in my lifetime, (born in 1971.) Living as we do in such an atomized and divided society, it’s pretty inspiring to see that some of us actually know how to stick together against our ridiculous oppressors. Man, I hope the folks of the midwest can keep this up! (We’re out here in Hawai’i, which is not exactly a hotbed of mutually-aiding steadfastness…)
I’m kinda new to this stuff; just wanted to thank you Louis for all that you have written/done. Spent the last few weeks reading through your archives; much appreciated!
