September Tymbal batch: three new tapes out now!
The latest Tymbal Tapes batch is out today! This batch features an intense set from Somnoroase Păsărele, the debut of Argentina’s Valle de Galgos (featuring members of Pandelindio and Ø+yn), and a bizarre high-concept tape from Leaaves, made entirely of samples from Terry Crews’ Old Spice commercials. The mysterious Yves Malone has taken listeners on many journeys into speculative film soundtracks over the last several years. While much of his work has focused on evoking the cinematic, Boneblack goes into the screen and launches into orbit, channeling the feral edges of classic kosmische sessions amidst piles of evolving electronics. Reconnecting with his roots or trying on a potent new mask? Only time will tell, matey. Hold fast.

Dan Nelson is an interdisciplinary artist and musician whose work as Boron and Argon inhabits the vague interstice between music and sound art. He has a background in conceptual and visual art, photography, and video, and is the author of the book “All Known Metal Bands.”
