Police recover items stolen in string of Canberra robberies

ACT Policing have recovered several items from Canberra homes that were believed to have been stolen in as many as 15 robberies across the capital.

Police carried out three search warrants at homes in Reid, Hawker and Scullin on Friday as part of an ongoing investigation into the burglaries.

Among the items recovered by police were several service medals, with investigators currently reviewing the rest of the stolen items.

Three people have been charged in relation to the incident.

A 29-year-old Dunlop man will face ACT Magistrates Court on Saturday, charged with burglary and receiving stolen property.

A 54-year-old Scullin man as well as a woman will face court at a later date, with both being charged with possession of stolen goods.

Further charges are expected to be laid in coming days.

Investigations are continuing.
