The National Football League (NFL) is a professional American football league consisting of 32 teams, divided equally between the National Football Conference (NFC) and the American Football Conference (AFC). The NFL is one of the four major professional sports leagues in North America, and the highest professional level of American football in the world. The NFL's 17-week regular season runs from the week after Labor Day to the week after Christmas, with each team playing sixteen games and having one bye week. Following the conclusion of the regular season, six teams from each conference (four division winners and two wild card teams) advance to the playoffs, a single-elimination tournament culminating in the Super Bowl, played between the champions of the NFC and AFC.
The NFL was formed in 1920 as the American Professional Football Association (APFA) before renaming itself the National Football League for the 1923 season. The NFL agreed to merge with the American Football League (AFL) in 1966, and the first Super Bowl was held at the end of that season; the merger was completed in 1970. Today, the NFL has the highest average attendance (67,591) of any professional sports league in the world and is the most popular sports league in the United States. The Super Bowl is among the biggest club sporting events in the world and individual Super Bowl games account for many of the most watched television programs in American history, all occupying the Nielsen's Top 5 tally of the all-time most watched U.S. television broadcasts by 2015. The NFL's executive officer is the commissioner, who has broad authority in governing the league.
In sports, goal is a physical structure or area where an attacking team must send the ball or puck in order to score points. In several sports, a goal is the sole method of scoring, and thus the final score is expressed in the total number of goals scored by each team. In other sports, a goal may be one of several scoring methods, and thus may be worth a different set number of points than the others.
The structure of a goal varies from sport to sport. Most often, it is a rectangular structure that is placed at each end of the playing field. Each structure usually consists of two vertical posts, called goal posts, supporting a horizontal crossbar. A goal line marked on the playing surface between the goal posts demarcates the goal area. Thus, the objective is to send the ball or puck between the goal posts, under or over the crossbar (depending on the sport), and across the goal line. Less commonly, as in basketball or netball, goals are ring-shaped. The structure is often accompanied with an auxiliary net, which stops or slows down the ball when a goal is scored.
Emmitt James Smith III (born May 15, 1969) is an American former college and professional football player who was a running back in the National Football League (NFL) for fifteen seasons during the 1990s and 2000s. Smith played college football for the University of Florida, where he was a unanimous All-American. A first-round pick in the 1990 NFL Draft, he played professionally for the Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals of the NFL, and is widely considered to be one of the greatest running backs in NFL history.
During his long professional career, he became the NFL's all-time rushing leader, breaking the record formerly held by Walter Payton, and played for three Super Bowl-winning Dallas Cowboys teams. Smith is the only running back to ever win a Super Bowl championship, the NFL Most Valuable Player award, the NFL rushing crown, and the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player award all in the same season (1993). He is also one of only four running backs to lead the NFL in rushing three or more consecutive seasons, joining Steve Van Buren, Jim Brown and Earl Campbell. Smith led the league in rushing and won the Super Bowl in the same year three times (1992, 1993, and 1995) when to that point it had never been done. Smith is also one of only two non-kickers in NFL history to score more than 1,000 career points (the other being Jerry Rice). Smith was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2010, and is the first player from the 1990 NFL Draft to be inducted.

The Dallas Cowboys are a professional American football team located in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. The team is a member of the East division of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). They are headquartered in Valley Ranch in Irving, Texas. The headquarters will move to Frisco, Texas in 2016. The team plays its home games at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, which opened for the 2009 season. The stadium took its current name prior to the 2013 season. The Cowboys joined the NFL as an expansion team in 1960. The team's national following might best be represented by its NFL record of consecutive sell-outs. The Cowboys' streak of 190 consecutive sold-out regular and post-season games (home and away) began in 2002. The franchise shares the record for most Super Bowl appearances (8) with the Pittsburgh Steelers, New England Patriots, and the Denver Broncos, corresponding to most NFC championships (8). The Cowboys won five (5) of those Super Bowl appearances, tying them with their NFC rivals, the San Francisco 49ers, both are second to Pittsburgh's record six (6) Super Bowl championships. The Cowboys are the only NFL team to record 20 straight winning seasons (1966–85), in which they only missed the playoffs twice (1974 and 1984), an NFL record that remains unchallenged.
Eagles' Defense Sacks Aikman, Cowboys, 24-0 September 16, 1991|From Associated Press IRVING, Tex. — Clyde Simmons revisited Troy Aikman in the Dallas quarterback's worst nightmare. Simmons, a 6-foot-6, 280-pound defensive end for the Philadelphia Eagles who separated Aikman's shoulder last November, led a defensive charge Sunday that sacked Aikman 11 times and forced him into throwing three interceptions in the Eagles' 24-0 victory. Simmons had a club-record 4 1/2 sacks and Rich Miano had two interceptions for the Eagles (2-1). The 11 sacks were a record for both teams. "I'll give Troy credit, he hung in there and took it," Simmons said. "He's a tough guy and he had a tough day." It was the Eagles' eighth consecutive victory over the Cowboys (1-2). Emmitt Smith, the leading rusher i...

This video is from a live performance on October 1, 2009 in Culver City, CA. We played a game called "Enter Exit" where three players are assigned a word by the audience and then have to work those words into the dialogue of the scene. Every time a players word is mentioned they have to enter or exit the stage and try to find some justification for doing so. Enjoy! Players featured: Carrie Aikman, Dawn Akemi, and Heather Brumley. New game! New game! :) Back we go to the cleaner side. This clip is from our "Family Friendly Comedy Night" in Hermosa Beach, CA where we tag-teamed with local group called "Jumpstart" This improv comedy game is called "Make a Memory". In this game there is a storyteller (Carrie Aikman in this case) who improvises a story of the first time he/she ever did a thing. The storyteller is flanked by two sound-givers (Dawn Akemi and Nikki Turner case) who make random sounds that have to be incorporated into the story somehow. You hear in the clip that the audience suggests a story about the first time Carrie ever played Chutes n' Ladders. Enjoy! Players featured: Carrie Aikman, Nikki Turner, and Dawn Akemi For information about our troupe please visit: www.magicmeathands....
This clip is the opening to a live show that took place on July 16, 2009. We decided to begin with a game called "Cranky Lawyers" (also known as Objection") A clever member of our audience gave us "objections", as the subject for our opening argument. Somehow it all became about blowjobs. Go figure. Players featured: Carrie Aikman, Dawn Akemi, Corey Blake, Shane Boroomand, Liz Gill, Eric Ho, Marshall McGehee, Nikki Turner, and Randy Turner. On Feb. 7, 2008 the Meathands took the stage at the Spot in Culver City with 7 female performers and only two guys. Unable to resist we took the opportunity to improv a little "Gender Bender" scenario where the gals could only play male characters and the guys could only play females. The audience asked that we start the long form improv in a men's bathroom. Too much fun!!! Here are the highlights. Players featured: Carrie Aikman, Lauri Fraser, Heather Brumley, Nikki Turner, Eric Field, Dawn Akemi, and Andrew Pari. Complete with spontaneous stage combat move that almost gave the director a heart attack, "Sherpa of the Month" will not disappoint! This Scenario was performed live at our weekly "Comedy Cafe" show on April 24th, 2008. We started with two suggestions from the audience: NEPAL (as our location) and DIVORCEES (as the relationship of the initial two characters). The madness ensued from there. See if you can count how many times we say "Scrotum"! ;P Enjoy! Players featured: Mary Benedict, Eric Field, Phil Gibbs, Jason Palmer, Carrie Aikman, Nikki Turner, Heather Brumley and Marshall McGehee. This improv video is dedicated to our friend BAD7766! The two quotes at the beginning of the video are from comments on our video, the first quote is a comment on "The Panama Canal" and the second, our recent video "Real Men II: The McClan Clan". So here is "PEE" a little video made up of a few clips from the two Real Men videos that were left on the cutting room floor, but put together made a great gift. We hope BAD7766 and anyone else who checks this out gets a giggle. Players featured: Carrie Aikman, Lauri Fraser, Nikki Turner, and Liz Gill. Well now! Our last five improv videos were a personal get well video/card (Get Well, Lexie) a dark comedy (Evil Kermit), double entendre (Maggie Blows Joy) an absurd family-friendly christmas story (Chutes n' Ladders), and finally a domestic absurdity about about a couple on vacation and the local bears that harrass them (Way Back in Denali). So now how about we go with some good ole somewhat-off-color-body-part humor...partially in the form of a musical. :D This long form improv was performed live on July 24, 2008 at the Spot Cafe in Culver City, CA. We began with a "Relationship Reveal" scene as we did in Maggie Blows Joy, but this time the audience suggestion was "One just told the other that he has an undescended testicle!" And off we went. Enjoy! Players featured: Phil G...
