Michael Byron "Mike" Nifong (born September 14, 1950) is a former North Carolina attorney. He was the district attorney for Durham County, North Carolina (the state's 14th Prosecutorial District) but was removed and disbarred due to court findings concerning his conduct in the 2006 Duke University lacrosse case. Observers consider several criminal justice bills passed by the North Carolina legislature later that same year to have been influenced by Nifong's actions in the Duke lacrosse case.

Nifong was born in Wilmington, North Carolina, and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) in 1971 with a degree in political science. He registered as a conscientious objector during the Vietnam War era and participated in anti-war protests. After working as a teacher and social worker, he returned to UNC in 1975 and earned a law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 1978. He was admitted to the NC bar.

After a year as a per diem assistant DA with the Durham County DA's office, he was hired on a full-time basis in 1979. He eventually worked his way up to chief assistant. After District Attorney Jim Hardin was appointed to a Superior Court vacancy in 2005, Governor Mike Easley appointed Nifong to fill out the remainder of Hardin's term. Nifong was sworn in on April 27, 2005.

Dennis Miller (born November 3, 1953) is an American stand-up comedian, political commentator, actor, sports commentator, and television and radio personality. He is known for his critical assessments laced with pop culture references. He rose to fame as a cast member of Saturday Night Live in 1985, and subsequently hosted a string of his own talk shows on HBO, CNBC and in syndication. He currently hosts a daily, three-hour, self-titled talk radio program, nationally syndicated by Dial Global.

Although in his early years of fame he was perceived to be quite liberal and anti-Republican, in recent years, Miller has become known for his right-leaning political opinions. He is a regular political commentator on Fox News Channel's The O'Reilly Factor in a segment called "Miller Time", and previously appeared on the network's Hannity & Colmes in a segment called "Real Free Speech".

Miller was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and grew up in Castle Shannon, a suburb of Pittsburgh, where he graduated from Keystone Oaks High School in 1971. His parents separated and Miller was raised by his mother, Norma, a dietitian. Miller is of Scottish descent. At Point Park University, he majored in journalism because he thought it would be easy: "I remember seeing All the President's Men and thinking Redford looked cool in his crinkled tie."^{[citation needed]} He was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity. About his social status during this period, Miller writes: "When I went to college, I lived on campus, and the guys I hung out with made me do some things I'm not proud of, although they made the characters in Revenge of the Nerds look like the Rat Pack in 1962. I myself made that kid Booger look like Remington Steele" (I Rant, Therefore I Am). Miller graduated from Point Park University in 1976.

David Schwartz is a composer, noted for his scoring of the music for several television series.

Schwartz attended the School of Visual Arts in New York and the Berklee College of Music in Boston. He began composing music for television and film in 1990. The theme he wrote for his first network television series, Northern Exposure, resulted in a Grammy nomination. He scored every episode of all seven seasons the show ran.

More recently, he has scored themes for television productions including Two of Us, Deadwood, Arrested Development, Running Wilde, and Beverly Hills, 90210. His film credits include You Stupid Man.

He is the father of singer-songwriter Lucy Schwartz.

Geraldo Rivera (born Gerald Michael Riviera; July 4, 1943) is an American attorney, journalist, author, reporter, and talk show host. Rivera hosts the newsmagazine program Geraldo at Large and appears regularly on Fox News Channel.

Rivera was born at Beth Israel Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Lillian (née Friedman), a waitress, and the late Cruz "Allen" Rivera (October 1, 1915 – November 1987), a restaurant worker and cab driver. Rivera's father was a Catholic Puerto Rican of Spanish ancestry, and his mother is of Ashkenazi Russian Jewish descent. He was raised "mostly Jewish" and had a Bar Mitzvah. He grew up in Brooklyn and West Babylon, New York. He has four siblings: Wilfredo, Sharon, Irene, and Craig.

Rivera is an alumnus of the University of Arizona, where he played varsity lacrosse as goalie. From September 1961 to May 1963, he attended the State University of New York Maritime College, where he was a member of the rowing team. He received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 1969, did postgraduate work at the University of Pennsylvania that same year.

Gregory Walter "Gregg" Jarrett (born April 7, 1955) is an American news anchor for Fox News Channel.

Joining the network in November 2002, he co-anchors weekend newscasts with Julie Banderas and serves as a substitute anchor weekdays. He graduated magna cum laude from Claremont Men's College in 1977 and received a law degree in 1980 from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. He was a defense attorney in San Francisco for several years with the law firm of Gordon & Rees LLP.

Prior to Fox News, Jarrett worked at MSNBC as an anchor and correspondent. While at MSNBC, he covered many stories including the September 11th Attacks, Israeli–Palestinian conflict, and the 2000 U.S. Presidential Election Controversy.

Jarrett also worked at Court TV (the network now known as truTV) for eight years, serving as the anchor of Prime Time Justice, in addition to covering many different trials on the network, and hosting the network's nationally syndicated half-hour broadcast magazine show, Inside America’s Courts. He was a main anchor for the O.J. Simpson double murder trial on location in Los Angeles in 1995.
