Acton Early Childhood Centre is a community-based long day-care centre nestled in a leafy and historic corner of the ANU Campus. The charming 1928 cottage and extensive landscaped grounds offer calm and secure surroundings for children from newborn to 6 years.

The centre provides a warm, caring, home-like environment in which each child is nurtured and encouraged to explore their full potential. Our team of dedicated educators will ensure your childs safety and comfort whilst preparing sensory encounters and learning opportunities to aid their development.

We foster respect for the natural environment and appreciation of flora and fauna with our outdoor education programming. Our nursery room enjoys a dedicated outdoor space, while the main yard includes a hen house and vege patch for toddlers and preschoolers to experience.

AECC is independent, not-for-profit, and is supported by a committee of family volunteers who oversee the affairs of the Centre. AECC achieved a rating of Exceeding the National Quality Standard after assessment by The Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).

We are open Monday to Friday 7:45am-6:00pm and our fees are currently $110/day. Feel free to call or email us for more information or to arrange a visit.
