Plot: A cry in the dark explores universal themes of love, loss, grief, healing and redemption through a unique lens. This story takes you on the journey of a young girls inability to cope with a tragic event which leaves her delusional and dangerous. The concept behind this film explores our social construction of the spiritual versus psychological debate. Are some people's convictions that they can see spirits true, or are their visions products of a psychologically fragmented, delusional mind, damaged in some way as others may counter. The director explores this debate and leaves that answer up to the audience to decide for themselves.

Plot: Box elder bugs are loud, scary looking, and dependent on group swarming. Yet, they're also completely harmless and extremely passive aggressive. Using this metaphor to address a generation that thinks big, talks fast, and threatens to change the world, Box Elder is an unapologetic portrait of a youth movement at odds with its own ambivalence, exposing a generation defined by privilege, potential, and self-induced paralysis. The film follows four best friends through their last years of college. Dependant on their parents financially, and on each other emotionally, they spend their time sleeping in, hanging out, and eating lots of sandwiches. Using break-ups and re-occurring scholastic failures to impose a quarter-life crisis, they take turns postponing responsibility, avoiding accountability, and looking for someone or something to substantiate their lives, all the while hedging their bets and mastering the art of treading water and getting away with it. It's a collegiate love letter.

Perdoname conciencia
Que dura mi cabilla
Fue duro tu reproche
Aunque se que esa noche
Yo me lo merecia.
Tanto lo habia sonado
Tanto lo presentia
Y al verte asi a mi lado
Me olvide del pasado
Que atado me tenia.
Y me lleno de ensuenos
Y le brinde la gloria
Sabiendo que yo mismo
No me pertenecia
Y me olvido' de todas las cosas
Que en el mundo
Hacen la dicha corta
Y larga la agonia.
Perdoname, perdoname conciencia
Razon se que tenia
Pero en aquel momento
Todo fue sentimiento
La razon no valia
No, la razon no valia
No, no, no, no la razon no valia.
