Do Me!

"Do Me!" is a song by hip hop/R&B group Bell Biv DeVoe. The song was released in 1990 as the second single from the group's multi-platinum debut album, Poison. A remix is included on the group's WBBD-Bootcity!: The Remix Album, released in 1991.

Release and reception

In June 1990, "Do Me!" entered the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 singles chart at number 92. In September, the song reached number three, tying previous single "Poison" as Bell Biv DeVoe's biggest hit on the pop charts. The song remained on the Hot 100 for 22 weeks. Elsewhere, the single peaked at number 4 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and number 6 on the Hot Dance Club Songs chart. The song ranked number 11 on the Billboard Year-End chart for 1990.

Legacy

Davitt Sigerson called the song a "landmark in priapic obsession," and added, "[i]f the true spirit of the male love jones could speak, its words would be B.B.D.'s: 'Slap it up, flip it, rub it down, oh no!'" The song makes reference to Swatch watches, a popular accessory of the 1980s.

Bet on Your Baby

Bet on Your Baby is an American game show that is hosted by Melissa Peterman. The series premiered on ABC on April 13, 2013, with two back-to-back episodes. Each episode features five families with toddlers between the ages of two to three-and-a-half years old, who play to see how well they can guess their child's next move in order to win money toward their college fund.

On January 28, 2014, Bet on Your Baby was renewed for an eight episode second season. Season 2 premiered on May 31, 2014. The show did not make ABC's Summer 2015 schedule and in the Philippines on ABS-CBN because currently on hiatus due to Santos' pregnancy.

Infant

An infant (from the Latin word infans, meaning "unable to speak" or "speechless") is the very young offspring of a human or animal. When applied to humans, the term is usually considered synonymous with baby or bairn (in Scottish English), but the latter is commonly applied to the young of any animal. A music video or song video is a short film integrating a song and imagery, produced for promotional or artistic purposes. Modern music videos are primarily made and used as a marketing device intended to promote the sale of music recordings. There are also cases where songs are used in tie in marketing campaigns that allow them to become more than just a song. Tie ins and merchandising could be used in toys are marketing campaigns for food and other products. Although the origins of music videos date back to musical short films that first appeared in the 1920s, they came into prominence in the 1980s when MTV based their format around the medium. Prior to the 1980s, these works were described by various terms including "illustrated song", "filmed insert", "promotional (promo) film", "promotional clip", "promotional video", "song video", "song clip" or "film clip". Since the creation and increased popularity of YouTube, mainstream artists now promote new music videos by releasing trailers of short promos on the site for their upcoming song and music video. Consequentially, YouTube has been converted into a social media platform for celebrities and artists to market themselves to their fans and audiences.
