Collaborative fiction is a form of writing by a group of authors who share creative control of a story.
Collaborative fiction can occur for commercial gain, as part of education, or recreationally - many collaboratively written works have been the subject of a large degree of academic research.
Traditional fiction writers and writing circles have experimented in creating group stories, such as Robert Asprin's Thieves World and MythAdventures - such approaches date back at least as far as The Floating Admiral in 1931. There are many highly regarded collaborations, but also some collaborative work produced as spoofs or hoaxes such as Naked Came the Stranger, which was allegedly written to illustrate the point that popular American literary culture had become mindlessly vulgar. Collaborative writing can greatly increase motivation and speed of production for authors.Debbie Dadey and Marcia Jones are quoted as saying that books in the Bailey School Kids series take between "two weeks to two years to write". However, the process can also be slow and methodical: of collaborating with the novelist Edwin O'Connor, Edmund Wilson wrote "In writing alternate chapters with Ed, I very soon ran into difficulties. He would not always accept my cues of my methods, and I found my narrative blocked. I suspected that this was deliberate and that we were playing a game of chess, and this suspicion has been corroborated by Mrs. O'Connor's telling me that, in sending back Chapter 4, Ed had said to her with satisfaction, "Well, I guess I've got him now". Collaborative authors commonly publish under a joint pseudonym, such as Judith Michael, Lewis Padgett or Grant Naylor, particularly if they intend to only write as part of a collaboration, or if their other work is in a significantly different style than their collaborative work.
I'm the One may refer to:
Jed Tucker Whedon (born July 18, 1974) is an American screenwriter and musician., and the son of screenwriter Tom Whedon, grandson of screenwriter John Whedon, and the brother of screenwriter Zack Whedon and producer/director/writer Joss Whedon.
Alongside his brothers Joss and Zack and his then fiancée Maurissa Tancharoen, he co-created and co-wrote the musical Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. It was the subject of a salute by The Paley Center for Media and won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Special Class – Short-format Live-Action Entertainment Programs.
Prior to Dr. Horrible, Whedon composed scores for video games, and was a member of the now defunct Los Angeles-based band The Southland. In 2010, he released an album entitled History of Forgotten Things under the band name "Jed Whedon and the Willing". Assisting him on the album were his wife, Maurissa Tancharoen and their mutual friend Felicia Day.
With Felicia Day, he composed the music to the song "(Do You Wanna Date My) Avatar" for the web series The Guild, the video for which he also directed.
"And I" is a song written by American R&B singer Ciara, and produced by Adonis Shropshire for Ciara's first album, Goodies (2004). It was released as the album's fourth and final single on August 30, 2005 (see 2005 in music) in North America.
The song was originally the third choice for the fourth single. Ciara has mentioned in an interview that "Thug Style", "Hotline" or "Pick up the Phone" would be the fourth single, but when Ciara suggested "And I" to executives at her previous record label LaFace, they were unhappy because they wanted "Next to You" to be the fourth single.
At the time of the U.S. release of "And I", Ciara's collaboration with Bow Wow, "Like You", and her collaboration with Missy Elliott, "Lose Control", were at the height of their popularity. "And I" peaked at 96 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and 27 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart, which were poor positions compared to those attained by the first three singles from the album Goodies. It was not released outside North America because of this, and it is Ciara's least successful single.
Felicia Day (born Kathryn Felicia Day) is an American actress, comedian, and writer. On TV, she has played Vi in the series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Dr. Holly Marten in Eureka, and had a recurring role as Charlie on Supernatural. She has acted in movies such as Bring It On Again and June, as well as the Internet musical Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. She is the star, writer, and producer of the original web series The Guild, a show loosely based on her life as a gamer. She also wrote and starred in the Dragon Age web series Dragon Age: Redemption. Day was a member of the board of directors of the International Academy of Web Television beginning December 2009 until the end of July 2012.
Day was born in Huntsville, Alabama. She began her acting career at the age of 8 when she starred as Scout in a local production of To Kill a Mockingbird. She studied operatic singing and ballet professionally, performing at concerts and competitions nationwide. Home-schooled throughout much of her childhood, she began college at the age of 16.
Now Playing in Theaters From the beloved novels by Michael Bond and producer David Heyman (HARRY POTTER), PADDINGTON tells the story of the comic misadventures of a young Peruvian bear (voiced by Ben Whishaw) who travels to the city in search of a home. Finding himself lost and alone, he begins to realize that city life is not all he had imagined - until he meets the kindly Brown family who read the label around his neck that says "Please look after this bear. But after watching Bruno cover ‘All I Ask,’ it’s safe to say he’s a REALLY close second. After opening up to Rolling Stone magazine about his mini tiff with Adele during a song writing session -- if you don’t remember, Bruno revealed that he and Adele had a little spat over the use of the word ‘lovers’ in the song ‘All I Ask’ – the singer went on to cover the song at BBC Radio’s 1 Live Lounge on Wednesday. Bruno was backed by the Hooligans during the jam sesh, which gave the song a little funky ‘80s-ish vibe. Even though Bruno and Adele envisioned the lyrics differently at the beginning, the singer sang the song the way it was meant to be sung – with the word...

I got this oddity off of a small black-owned television station in Detroit, WGPR Ch. 62, sometime in the early 1980s. I recorded it at SLP on my VCR and then copied it on to another tape also at SLP. I saved it for its obvious unusual cultural value. The distortion in the picture is from the stations continuing transmission problems that plagued them throughout the 80s. Enjoy this strange artifact from either 1956 or 7, depending on which historians you believe. I own no copyrights on this film and recorded it originally for my own in-home use.
Ten New Songs is Leonard Cohen's tenth studio album, released in 2001. It was co-written and produced by Sharon Robinson. It was produced in Cohen's and Robinson's home studios in Los Angeles. It was also his first album in nearly 10 years. The album peaked at No 143 on the Billboard 200, No 4 in Canada (where it went platinum), No 1 in Poland (where it went platinum) and No 1 in Norway. «There's a sense of relaxation in the tunes that comes through», the singer enthused to Nick Patton Walsh of The Observer in 2001, «there's a kind of pulse, an invitation to get into it - a groove». Although the album has an adult contemporary, R&B; feel, several songs contain themes of unspeakable desolation and loneliness, including «By the Rivers Dark» and the brooding «A Thousand Kisses Deep», reinforce...

Indira is a 1995 Tamil film co-written and directed by Suhasini Manirathnam. It features Anu Hasan in the title role, with Arvind Swamy, Radharavi and Nassar playing other supporting roles. A. R. Rahman composed the film's score and soundtrack, while Santosh Sivan handled the film's cinematography. . The film revolves around a group of villagers from Maranur, India, and their clash with a neighbouring village leader, as their community begins to prosper. Soon money and greed threaten a will for peaceful coexistence between the two rivalling communities. The main theme involves the role of the caste system, and how the younger generation strive to overcome it. The film stars Anu Haasan, cousin of the director Suhasini, as well as Arvind Swamy and Nassar in lead roles.
The swedish songwriter and producer Max Martin, aka Martin Sandberg, is probably the most successful Pop producer of all time. With his 22 number-ones and 65 top ten hits and the Billboard Hot 100, there's no doubt he's the king of pop (sorry MJ). So because my former Top 50 wasn't really enough, I've now gathered together a Top 100 of co-written and co-produced Max Martin songs (based on my opinion). Or you can just call it a compliation of hits since the late 90s till today. :) I hope you'll enjoy! ~ Feel free to comment your own opinions about the songs. Another day try to stand up straight;
keep the world from draggin' me,
down’; fight the flames that feed
the fire, but my mind keeps spinnin'
around. Holding on to what You
said, cuz I know Your words are
true; only way to win this fight is
to keep my eyes on, You

Fire and Love, the two extremes
that we live between. Fire and
Love, there’s more to life than the
eye can see.
Feelin' down, well I've been there
too; I know just how you, feel. A
winning hand from every side, it's
hard to tell what's real. Caught
between the two extremes, Feel
the pull from side to side. Trying
to run the easy road; just enough
to get you by.

Oh Lord, I know You've got the
answers; Oh Lord, I know You are
the Way. Oh Lord, I know You
are the Answer, Oh Lord, I need
You, everyday.
