This English-language adaptation of the Swedish novel by Stieg Larsson follows a disgraced journalist, Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig), as he investigates the disappearance of a wearily patriarch's niece from 40 years ago. He is aided by the pierced, tattooed, punk computer hacker named Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara). As they work together in the investigation, Blomkvist and Salander uncover immense corruption beyond anything they have ever imagined.
Geraldine James ("Cecilia Vanger") on the red carpet for the much-anticipated "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo." While the film had already been made in Swedish, David Fincher ["The Game," "The Social Network"] took on the adaptations for the bigger-budgeted, English language films of the Millenium trilogy. Brilliantly cast in the leads are Daniel Craig (aka James Bond) as Blomkvist, and Rooney Mara ["The Social Network"] as Lisbeth Salander. Mara has a difficult task given the acclaim lauded on Noomi Rapace for her take on the heroine in the Swedish franchise, but early sneaks at Mara's Salander were more than encouraging, they were exciting. These red carpet interviews were recorded by the studio at the film's premiere in London. For more news, interviews and images of your favorit...

S5 Ep.5 13 March 1991 Who Killed Harry Field This is for me one of the best Morse episodes.Freddie Jones is excellent as the father of the murder victim and he shows what a good actor he is. His scenes with John Thaw especially at the end are brilliant. Overall the story keeps you guessing until the end, with various twists in the plot. It also gives a good insight into the world of art.The scenery is fine and the whole episode has a "feel" about it, i've seen it several times and never tier of it. For Morse fans this episode has it all; Oxfordshire countryside, real ale, sophisticated suspects, stately home, an eccentric victim and lots of red herrings to keep you guessing. Cast: John Thaw Kevin Whately Trevor Byfield John Castle Geraldine James Nicola Cowper Steven Payne Steven Payne ...
