RSS & Podcasting FAQ

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. RSS feeds allow you to stay up to date with new website content as soon as it is published, by using a "feed reader" application. Web based newsreaders such as Bloglines or Google Reader to monitor updates, and most modern browsers like Firefox and Safari will allow you to add RSS feeds to your bookmarks.

Podcasting allows you listen to the latest episode of your favorite internet video or radio program (like Freethought Radio) as soon as it becomes available using a "podcatcher" application like iTunes, Zune or ZENCast.
