16 April 2017 The Small Zine Volcano Tough Bag Fundraiser gig is a benefit show with all money going to the zine distro Small Zine Volcano.
The distro will use all money raised to buy Australia Post Tough Bags to send free zines to anyone who orders them.
Playing at the show will be punk rock heroes Piss Factory, acappella hair metal sensations Made Austria plus the amazing Meme Girls playing their debut show.
Tough Bag artworks by some of this generations most intriguing artists for sale, Sticky Institute zine stall, Small Zine Volcano zine stall.

fawnographie is a new poetry chapbook series by melbourne based poet, scholar, artist and musician alice belle. her project aims to anthologise her ongoing notebooks as a way of completing poetry for archival.
alice has also curated a collaborative poetry chapbook series under the title ‘A Sharp Knife’, a project born from frustration towards the homogenous Australian poetry scene, by collecting and publishing more of the work she wished to see in circulation. she has plans to relaunch an expanded iteration of the project in the near future.

14 November 2016 Perth-based artist Anna Dunnill will be revealing her new collage installation Prayers, Incantations in the Sticky Institute window space on Saturday 19th November, between 3-5pm.
The launch will feature live music from Caroline J. Dale and Shae Bird.
Anna Dunnill’s practice investigates the nature of language and communication, with forms including drawing, text, embroidery, small sculpture, zines and tattoos. ‘Prayers, Incantations’ will look at tattoos in the context of ritual, ceremony and magic.
