With land prices soaring, I don't reckon this old building is long for this world.
The Domino Sugar refinery, which dominated part of Brooklyn's waterfront since the 19th century, closed in 2004.

Situated at the approach to the Williamsburg bridge is an equestrian sculpture of George Washington, sculpted by Henry Mervin Shrady (1871–1922) who was commissioned to make the statue after winning a design competition in 1901.
