Jeremy McKinnon

Jeremy Wade McKinnon (born December 17, 1985) is an American musician and producer, best known as a founding member and the lead vocalist of A Day to Remember. He has collaborated with other groups like Mest and In Fear and Faith. He has produced full-length albums for The Devil Wears Prada, The Ghost Inside, and Neck Deep.

Early years

Jeremy McKinnon was born in Gainesville, Florida and grew up with two sisters. McKinnon first got a job at Boston Market and later went on to do construction work. McKinnon's interest in music came as a result of hanging out with a friend's band. McKinnon was inspired to write and play heavy music by a local band, Seventh Star. McKinnon often got into trouble during high school in Ocala, Florida and as a result he would write music. McKinnon's first band was the ska band All for Nothing, before joining guitarist Tom Denney and drummer Bobby Scruggs to form A Day to Remember.

McKinnon and A Day to Remember bassist Joshua Woodard have formed their own record label, Running Man; in partnership with Epitaph, they signed up band Veara.

My Time

My Time is the fifth album by Boz Scaggs, released by Columbia Records in September 1972. "Dinah Flo" was the only single released from the album.

They Never Saw Me Coming

They Never Saw Me Coming is the debut album by TQ released on November 10, 1998 in the United States and May 8, 1999 in the United Kingdom.

History

Background

TQ wrote every word on They Never Saw Me Coming, with the lion's share of the sparse, on-point production handled by Mike Mosley of Steady Mobbin Productions. Mosley's outstanding studio work with such artists as Tupac Shakur and E-40 speaks for itself. "Mike and I really like and respect each other," TQ acknowledged. "He's very serious about his work, like I am. By motivating each other, we both gave my project 110 percent."

"Bye Bye Baby", a Mosley/Ty Howard produced track, is based on a true story about a woman shot by a drive-by bullet meant for her man; it's followed by "The Comeback", a soul-searing track detailing the violent revenge wreaked on the shooter. "Darling Mary" is a playful ode to urban life's blunted reality; "When I Get Out", a pulsating ballad between TQ and Ericka Yancey, about an incarcerated brother's insecurity when it comes to his lover on the outside.

The 2014 Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts was held between 25 to 29 June 2014.

Ticket sales

Initially a small selection of tickets were sold for people who wished to travel by coach. A few days later the standard tickets were released where ticket sales sold out in record time of one hour and 27 minutes.

Line-up

On 19 December 2013, it was announced that Arcade Fire would headline the Pyramid Stage on Friday 27 June 2014.Kasabian will headline on Sunday 29 June. In early March 2014, Glastonbury announced that Dolly Parton would perform at the festival via their Facebook page, although didn't confirm if she would be headlining. Other acts that self-confirmed were Disclosure (who will play the Other Stage on the Friday), Blondie, Lily Allen and Foxes. The artist headlining on Saturday was listed as special guests due to legal reasons. Metallica were later announced as the special guests.
