Mountaintop Motel Massacre is truly an underrated horror flick. It has elements of Psycho, Misery, and even some classic Old Dark House moments.
The score by Ron Di Iulio is minimalistic and creepy. I sounds like the score is completely synthesized and my guess is an ARP Odyssey or Minimoog was used with possibly some type of string machine.
I went with a bit more of an acoustic approach using the Prophet X. The main melody is sequenced with some samples of a music box and also some creepy children vocals "La" This gives a creepy childish innocence which perfectly represents the main character Evelyn. There some brooding filter sweeps behind everything symbolizing something evil lurking beneath the surface.
Then suddenly another female vocal starts doing another melody overtop which is soon joined by a Theremin-like synth.
All in all I'm quite proud of this one, as simple as it is.

Ron (singer)
Ron, stage name of Rosalino Cellamare (born August 13, 1953) is an Italian singer-songwriter and musician.
Born in Dorno, province of Pavia, he debuted under his true name at the 1970 edition of the Sanremo Festival, together with Nada. In the following years he distinguished as songwriter for Lucio Dalla and others.
After a period as actor, he returned collaborating with Dalla and De Gregori in their Banana Republic tour of 1979, and issuing the LPs Una città per cantare (1980) and Anima (1982). These were followed by Joe Temerario (1984) and Il mondo avrà una grande anima (1988).
Una città per cantare is an Italian cover of The Road, song Danny O'Keefe; Italian lyrics are written by Lucio Dalla.
In 1996 he won the San Remo festival with "Vorrei incontrarti fra cent'anni", sung in duo with Tosca.

List of The King of Fighters characters
The King of Fighters fighting game series, produced by SNK Playmore, includes a wide cast of characters, some of which are taken from other SNK games. The story takes place in a fictional universe in which an annual series of 3-on-3 or 4-on-4 fighting tournaments are held.
The first game in the series introduces the initial main character of the series, Kyo Kusanagi, a young Japanese fighter who is the heir to a powerful group of martial artists having pyrokinetic abilities. Kyo fights against the Kusanagi clan's enemies, his rival Iori Yagami, and the god Orochi and its human followers, among others. The first four games in the series revolve about these fights, while The King of Fighters '99 introduces a new story arc, revolving around K′, a young man who seeks to destroy the mysterious NESTS organization because they kidnapped him at an early age and stripped him of his past memories, so that they could force him to be a fighter under their control. In The King of Fighters 2003, a new character named Ash Crimson enters the tournament, to steal the powers of the clans who sealed the Orochi in the past for an unknown reason. Mountaintop Motel Massacre is truly an underrated horror flick. It has elements of Psycho, Misery, and even some classic Old Dark House moments.
The score by Ron Di Iulio is minimalistic and creepy. I sounds like the score is completely synthesized and my guess is an ARP Odyssey or Minimoog was used with possibly some type of string machine.
I went with a bit more of an acoustic approach using the Prophet X. The main melody is sequenced with some samples of a music box and also some creepy children vocals "La" This gives a creepy childish innocence which perfectly represents the main character Evelyn. There some brooding filter sweeps behind everything symbolizing something evil lurking beneath the surface.
Then suddenly another female vocal starts doing another melody overtop which is soon joined by a Theremin-like synth.
All in all I'm quite proud of this one, as simple as it is.

Colpo di scena al Centro Commerciale Ortona Center dove con il brano di Nina Zilli “Sola” l’artista di Miglianico Rosalinda Santalucia si aggiudica la semifinale del Festival della Melodia superando sul filo di lana la rivale Samanta Cooper con la canzone di Etta James “I just want make love to you”. A premiarla sono intervenuti il tenore Giovanni Di Deo e la direttrice del centro Roberta Tenerelli al termine di un pomeriggio emozionante e all’insegna della buona musica. Altri riconoscimenti, messi in palio dall’azienda agricola “Polidoro Sandro” di Ortona, sono andati a Valeria Cusopoli, Gianni Scognamiglio e Marica Pellegrini. In gara sono stati in 12 provenienti da ogni angolo della regione e pronti a sfidarsi davanti ad una giuria di esperti. Hanno destato interesse gli esordienti Valentina Di Iulio e Andrea Piazza ma anche gli altri come Alessia Poliandri, Maurizio Tocco, Emanuele Cusopoli, Shasa Cappellari e Krisna Granchi che hanno preceduto gli ospiti della rassegna, dalla talentuosa Angelica Pompeo alla violinista di origini ceche Lady Katerina e dalla vincitrice nazionale Gabriella Profeta alla signora Ada, una debuttante che ha meritato addirittura la standing-ovation per un brano interpretato molto bene “a cappella”.
“Si è trattato di una bella iniziativa con tanti giovani di talento-ha spiegato alla fine Roberta Tenerelli del Centro Commerciale Ortona Center- valorizzare le potenzialità del territorio è una nostra mission per una manifestazione che ripeteremo sicuramente”.
