ANU higher degree research program (HDR) programs should represent the highest international standard, creating well developed global citizens.
The calibre of entering students; of training; preparation for diverse careers; or research outcomes, and theses should be of the highest quality. In addition, ANU should provide rigorous processes of quality assurance.
The report outlines a vision for HDR at ANU and the key areas in which the high quality and distinctiveness of the University’s HDR programs must be strengthened. It provides an analysis of areas for improvement, strategies for achieving the University’s vision, and associated recommendations.
