National Centre for Indigenous Genomics

NCIG staff travelled to Cape York to run a stall at the famous Laura Aboriginal Dance Festival at the end of June.  This festival is a gathering of Indigenous people from all over the Cape for cultural feast of music, dance, food and togetherness. 

NCIG team members are in the Tiwi Islands, introducing NCIG to community groups. 

NCIG commissioned Browndog Productions to design a logo.  Browndog was the artistic and technical talent behind the excellent animation you can view from our Home Page.

At its meeting in December 2016 the Council of the Australian National University approved the National Centre for Indigenous Genomics Statute 2016.
