Conspiracy of Cells of Fire : For Sebastian – ‘From the refusal of work… To the rebuff of authority’ (Greece)

Wednesday, December 21st, 2016

[Text for a gathering in memory of Sebastian Oversluij that took place in an anarchist squat in Chile]

The real death is forgetfulness.

On the 11th of December 2013 a robbery took place on a bank at the district of Pudahuel. When the anarchist Sebastian Oversluij walked in the bank announcing the robbery, he received the bullets from the armed guard-keeper of the bank-defender of the wealthy and authoritarian. Sebastian fell down dead after he emptied his machine gun…

But every day there are deaths without dying. Deaths that are repeated every day… because of the mornings alarm clock so you won’t be late at work, because of the sad routes between the lonely crowd that goes to offices, factories, stores, because of the boss’s yells who wants more from you and faster, because of the mechanical movements during the work that kills creativity, because of the feigned politeness, because of the debasing salary as recompense for the life that they have stolen from you.
A life that is measured based on money.

When we rob a bank, we don’t steal the money, we take back the life that they have stolen from us.

But a robbery can be an addictive job also. A job like everyone else’s, with the only difference that the “salary” isn’t sure and in case of industrial accident, jail or death awaits you. Often the robbers are not different from the salaried workers, they only work less in conditions of high risk. But they share the same cast of mind. The one of a consumer who deifies money, who admires the power of riches and his car, his clothes, his watch, which are the prolongation of himself.

Sebastian Oversluij was not a robber. He was an anarchist. He refused to be a slave on the boss’s blocks. He was a disclaimer of work because he refused the morality of working, the morality of a slave who thinks like a consumer. A robbery by itself isn’t a revolutionary action. But it is one of the methods of the anarchist war, so that we take back from the bosses the stolen time and organise it aggressively against them, planning anarchist actions, helping comrades in captivity, strengthening publishing ventures and creating armed infrastructure of attack against dominion.

We belong to the generation that Sebastian belonged to. A generation that has no age, no nationality. The generation of the impatient, the uncompromising and the dreamers.

We don’t need heroes, we want comrades who set fires with their ideas.

When we keep alive in our memory Sebastian and all the comrades who fell on the battlefield, we keep the struggle alive. A fight against dominion and we know that jail or death are often the cost. But as one said: “Five free birds started the journey to the South. Only one arrived, but what their journey for certain wanted to say, that it was worth it for trying to fly…”

Conspiracy of Cells of Fire – “For Alfredo and Anna – Until we meet” (Greece, Italy)

Tuesday, October 25th, 2016

In Italy, comrade Alfredo Cospito since October 3rd and comrade Anna Beniamino since October 10th, are on a hunger strike against the isolation imposed on them and on the anarchists imprisoned for the attacks of FAI (Operation “Scripta Manent”).

We know that the struggle against authority is unequal… Nevertheless we choose the war for freedom instead of the peace of fear.

Because we know that there are “free” people, who are more enslaved than prisoners, and living people that are more dead than most of our dead comrades who fell in the battle for freedom.

Because for every battle that we lose, a new one begins.

“Because if I don’t get burnt, if you don’t get burnt, how will the darkness turn to shining…”

For us solidarity is not simply a “touching” word, but a way of life, of becoming people with the dream as our measure.

We stand by our comrades Alfredo and Anna with all our hearts and minds, until our dreams meet…

Nemesis Project : Athens – Conspiracy of Cells of Fire take responsibility for the bombing at the home of the Judge Georgia Tsatani / Conspiración de las Células del Fuego reivindica ataque con bomba contra casa de fiscal (Grecia)

Friday, October 14th, 2016

NEMESIS PROJECT
FIRST ACT

We claim responsibility for attacking the house of the district attorney Georgia Tsatani, in Ippokratous street in Athens city center, next to the Exarhia police department.

We knew that G. Tsatani has a police escort and that she is a guarded target, but this didn’t stand in our way to accomplish our attack.

We chose a symbolic action with only material damage as a sole purpose, but the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire won’t be limited to that…

We have two reasons for choosing this particular district attorney.

The first one is that G. Tsatani is a member of the para-judicial network whose job is to take out of sight case files that impinge the interests of the business and politics mafia (with a view to profit of course). She is the judicial vanguard of her masters.

The apex of her tainted career is the Vgenopoulos case, where G. Tsatani closed the case, aiding him to be discharged of his certain conviction. Her venality by the businessman Vgenopoulos pumped up more her invisible para-judicial account. These inconspicuous courtesies of businessmen can built the villas of the judges as an exchange for their “justice”.

Another sample of this district attorney’s writing, that is being kept diligently secret from the media, is Meimarakis’ case. Georgia Tsatani is the one who took on the case file regarding the equipment and the bribes of Vagelis Meimarakis, the former minister of national defense back then and she made sure to “forget” to send these files in the parliament, with her sole purpose being to cover for him. The exchange of this conciliation was the placement of Tsatanis’ daughter and husband as minister candidates in New Democracy on Meimarakis’ presidency.

Georgia Tsatani was involved in the Vatopedi case, making clear once again the mafia-like partnership between Church and Justice, as well as in many other famous cases that she would “chop off” in order to conceal and protect the interests of authority.

The second reason for choosing to attack the district attorney Georgia Tsatani was her participation in the judicial thralldom of our comrades’ relatives.

G. Tsatani was the one who viewed as unacceptable one of the applications of release by Evi Statiri, who is the wife of Gerasimos Tsakalos, member of the C.C.F. Thus, she contributed in the anti-guerrilla campaign and in one of the most immoral extortions against anarchist revolutionaries.

The vengeful obsession of the judges against the families of our comrades is a choice that all judges involved will be asked to pay and at a great cost. We have remembrance and most of all patience, persistence and diligence…

We are dedicating this action to the imprisoned members of C.C.F, Gerasimos Tsakalos, Christos Tsakalos, Giorgos Polydoros and Olga Economidou.

We are sending our solidarity to the anarchist comrade Aggeliki Spyropoulou, to all unshakeable political prisoners that lie in the cells of the Greek Democracy, as well as to the Italian comrades Alfredo Cospito, Nicola Gai and the anarchists persecuted in Italy within the undertaking “scripta manent” against F.A.I.

Soon the complete version of this proclamation will follow, as well as our initiative for “Nemesis” Project.

We will be back…

Volveremos…

Report about the recent trials against the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire by Christos Tsakalos (Greece)

Chronicle of the trials (“250 actions” case, escape plan case)

Conspiracy of Cells of Fire – Christos Tsakalos

  1. i) Posthumous sentences

When something comes to an end, we are usually concerned only about the overall review.

We calculate the profit and the damage.

We hardly ever turn back time to reflect on the course that led to the final outcome. And even more rarely do we look ahead to stare at the new horizon that rises, when today becomes yesterday…

The two trials against the CCF ended 2 weeks ago. The one, regarding the 250 actions of the organization, lasted 3 years more or less while the other, regarding the escape attempt, lasted 5 dramatic months in a continuous climate of tension with the presiding judge.

Each one of us, who claimed political responsibility for the CCF and defended the organization and its actions, was sentenced to 21-28 years in prison for the first case and 115 years for the second one…

The first conclusion is that the judges believe in life after death, since one lifetime is not enough for these sentences to be served.

The second conclusion is that the choice of urban guerilla and the armed revolutionary action are still a threat to authority…

  1. ii) The scenery of the show.

But let us first see the way that the scenery of this show unfolded. Normally, i don’t like the victimization logic as it comes along with the narration of exaggerations which only maintains phobic myths. If we want to overcome fear, we must not amplify it but stare it right in the face… Dramatization of facts may make narration more exciting, but it keeps truth at a distance.

The court regarding the 250 actions case of the R.O. CCF (the exact number is actually 148 actions, although the case became known as the “250 actions” case) was characterized by a relatively mild and modest attitude that the judges adopted towards us.

During the proceedings, the composition of the Tribunal demonstrated a velvety laxity regarding the technical aspects (arrival time, suspension of the trial when it coincided with G.D.’s trial etc.)

Obviously, this was the result of our own attitude during the trial. When we made clear, since the beginning, that we claim responsibility for the CCF and that we ignore the penal forfeit, basically we deactivated their main bogeyman. (more…)

Second unclaimed deadly parcel bomb sent to a state judge, Conspiracy of Cells of Fire are blamed (Greece)

Sunday, August 7th, 2016

According to the Greek press, on July 28 police reported another parcel bomb was sent to a state judge, in this case it was sent to the bastard P. Houzouris, who received a parcel bomb at home packed with nails and razor blades. [1]

After finding the suspicious package that was disguised as a book, the judge notified police. An anti-explosives squad then proceeded to detonate the device.

According to police, the parcel bomb was similar to the one that was sent in June to judge Isidore Ponga who presided over the judicial council that rejected a 2015 request for the release of Evi Statiri (wife of Gerasimos Tsakalos, member of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire). [2]

The Greek press and the police are again trying to link our comrades from the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire to these attacks, this time pointing the finger at the comrade Christos Tsakalos who referred in a statement to a major trial that the judge P. Houzouris is presiding over.

The statement in question was published in Greece at the end of June. In it the comrade refers to the trial that the judge who received the parcel bomb presides over. The trial is known as the ‘Noor 1′ trial, named after the boat on which a shipment of heroin was found. Comrade Christos, along with pointing out the inquisitor role of the judges also expressed in his statement: “Faced with the arrogance of the judges and the authorities who enjoy life like small gods in the throne of their offices, we must use the strategy of the anarchist urban guerrillas”. [3]

With this statement the Greek media and police are linking the comrade with this new attack, however, no group has claimed responsibility for either of the parcel bombs.

The Conspiracy of Cells of Fire escape plan trial will end this week (Greece)

Tuesday, July 5th, 2016

Hearing of June 29th

On Wednesday the court heard the speech of the prosecutor I. Koutra. The speech went for almost the whole hearing which is approximately six hours. The bastard devoted himself to criticizing the approaches of anarchists and the actions of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, defending the existence of the state, laws, judges and police officers and proclaiming that a world without judges or prisons is something ‘cute’ but impossible.

Regarding the charges that he is seeking to convict the CCF comrades with, the prosecutor suggested to the judges that they convict them for ‘directing’ a terrorist organization, attempted murder, the possession and supply of weapons and explosives, explosions that ‘risk human life’, vehicle theft and attempted escape.

The prosecutor also suggested that the comrade Angeliki Spyropoulou be convicted of belonging to a terrorist organization and possession and supply of explosives.

For Athena Tsakalou and Evi Statiri he suggested that the charge of participation in a ‘terrorist’ organization be discarded, which rules out for them a sentence of 10-20 years. For Christos Polydoros he also suggested that same charge be discarded however he suggested that the comrade be convicted for the strange accusation of ‘facilitating the membership of a terrorist organization’ under the idea that the comrade would have helped Angeliki join the CCF. Statement from CCF comrade Christos Tsakalos for June 11th (Greece)

Saturday, June 11th, 2016

June 11th is an international solidarity day. A day against oblivion. A day for all those who are missing from the streets.

For everyone of us that learned to count our steps within the prison yard and divide our day between locking after locking and our night in tallies.

At the same time, June 11th is a day of war. It’s a day of rebellion because law and order may rule but they do not reign.

The existence of anarchist prisoners reminds us of the existence of the anarchist war.
A war that sometimes burns slowly and sometimes blinds the sky with its fires.

Every war has its losses. There are comrades that were lost to cop’s bullets or from a bomb that “was in a hurry” to explode…

Comrades that will not be beside us in the next conspiratorial rendzevous.

And then there are those who got caught in the enemy’s snare.
An enemy that is baptized in democracy and takes revenge with prisons and courts.

A democracy that likes to carry its captives as trophies from prison to prison, in special conditions, charged with dozens of years of punishment… (more…)

“A discussion from the future”… or, “imprisoned anarchists and intermediate claims (university studies with electronic surveillance, licenses, suspensions)’ by Christos Tsakalos of CCF/FAI-IRF

Thursday, May 12th, 2016

They say, in prison, that the most insidious drug is hope…

Hope for a good transfer, a convenient cell, a good court-decision, a sentence reduction on appeal, a semi-free status with electronic surveillance, for license approval, a suspension, an early release.

Hope is prison’s (and democracy’s) velvet bat. The prisoner now suppresses them-self in exchange for any of the above…

The price for the common prisoners in order to keep their hope alive is to become prison snitches, to be quiet, not to participate in demonstrations, to be a part of the anonymous statistics of the prison population and generally to invisibly serve their sentences with their head down.

The price for political prisoners is to renounce the armed struggle or even to capitulate with their silence…

In the “Years of Lead” in Italy, that usually happened by public declarations renouncing the armed struggle, often followed by telltale testimonies that led to fighters’ arrests. (more…)

Conspiracy of Cells of Fire: Our trials will turn into a conviction of the State (Greece)

Saturday, April 23rd, 2016

(For the April 20th court of appeal).

“The distance that separates freedom from slavery… is boldness…”

On April 20th, at Korydallos prison, the Court of Appeal for the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire begins.

We’re on trial for the explosive device found at the house in Halandri (“Halandri” case), for the bombings of the former Interior Minister P. Hinofotis’s house (he worked in the army during the years of the Junta), of the home of the ex-deputy and current president of the Bank of Greece L.Katseli and the bombing of the Macedonia-Thrace Ministry, on the eve of the Thessaloniki International Fair.

We are also accused of sending parcel bombs to embassies, international police-judicial institutions (Eurojust-Europol), as well as to Chancellor [Angela] Merkel, to the Prime Minister of Italy (at that time) media mogul Berlusconi and to racist ex-French President Sarkozy.

Finally, we’re on trial for aggravated gun possession and for the scuffle with cops in Pefki.

All these are some snapshots of the action of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire. We’ve openly claimed responsibility and defend all of our actions, as we are convinced that one cannot gain the world neither with prayers nor with curses.

It’s not only the members of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire and other anarchists for other cases that go on trial on April 20th, BUT the option of the urban guerrilla in total.

In fact, what’s on trial is the option of armed struggle against the murderous machine of power.

Today, anyone who does not understand the necessity of armed anarchist action against the tyrants of our life, is either extremely naive or a cop.

All those who roll the dice with our lives in the stock markets, the central banks, the international meetings of power, are not going to give up their offices and their wealth because we politely ask them to do so… The only language they understand is fear.

Our voices and ideas are more powerful when they come from the barrel of a gun…

Enough with tolerating the scarecrows of the power mocking us as they speak of “democracy”, “freedom” and “rights.”

If you want to understand what all of them think do not listen to their words… just look at their pockets…

They are the same ones who have imposed a murderous financial dictatorship strangling our life every day, pushing some people to resignment and others to suicide.

They are the same ones who send armies and turn whole countries into mass graves favoring the interests of oil and multinational corporations.

They are the same ones who run the propaganda and the spectacle which is turning lies into the truth, life as digital fakeness and happiness in mobile phone accessories.

No peaceful protest, no left wing illusion is going to overturn power from its throne.

The question that often sounds like a dirge “and how is the world going to change?” is crappy, defeatist and cowardly… Anyone who wants to change her life and the world, gets armed and becomes the answer.

On April 20th the judicial Inquisition wants to elicit from us, a sign of remorse, a sign of truce…

We were locked in cells, they moved us into the isolation section, they arrested and imprisoned our relatives, we are being on trial inside the prisons BUT we’re not going to be at peace with death and subjugation…

The Conspiracy of Cells of Fire will be reconstructed and will be back on the attack…

“The ugliness of power has been analyzed and interpreted by every generation and every aspect… What is happening today does not need further analysis, it needs actions…”

Intervention of Christos Tsakalos, member of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, at an event in the self managed hangout in Karditsa (Greece)

Wednesday, April 6th, 2016

Phone call intervention from Korydallos prison isolation basement by imprisoned member of CCF, Christos Tsakalos, during an event to promote the launch of the pamphlet “The Source of Victimization” by Alfredo Cospito. Cospito is jailed in Italy for the FAI armed attack against CEO Roberto Adinolfi of Ansaldo Nucleare.

Good evening comrades (…) I will begin with a phrase I had read somewhere and says “it is at the difficult time of repression, where we prove the level of our consciousness.”

Alfredo Cospito’s pamphlet “The source of victimization” is not only interesting from a historical perspective, as it describes the situation and degradation of the anarchist movement, after the carnage of Piazza Fontana. It has a special interest because, unfortunately, it is largely reflecting the mentality of victimization that is widespread in the Greek anarchist milieu.

But let’s consider things from the beginning …

Speaking of the urban guerrilla in the years after the junta, the focal point was the murder of Christos Kassimis, member of E.L.A. (Epanastatikos Laikos Agonas – Revolutionary People’s Struggle) in 1977, in a gunfight with cops at the facilities of the German company A.E.G. in Renti area, during the placement of incendiary bombs. After comes the arrest of Giannis Seriffis, who talks about being framed up by the prosecuting authorities due to his ideas. From 1977 and for many years the vast majority of those arrested either for «terrorist» activity, or conflicts in demonstrations, followed the line of advocacy of the “frame-up”. (more…)

Conspiracy of Cells of Fire – FAI/IRF: The Free Besieged (Greece)

Friday, March 18th, 2016

Prison is a milestone in the revolutionaries’ path towards freedom. It’s an intermediary stop, but not the end.

The authority often chooses the subtraction from mathematics. Like when they subtract lives with bombings in the warzones of their energy-generating and geopolitical interests, like when they subtract refugees from the cityscapes, entombing them in isolated concentration camps, like they subtract the smallest crumbs of the underpaid wage slavery, beating more brutally with whips, bodies that have gotten used to rickets, like when they want to subtract everyone who defies them, by locking them up inside prisons…

In this way, every revolutionary anarchist is facing the biggest contradiction. They are fighting for freedom and yet they’re flirting with the captivity of the prison, they love life so much and yet death from the guards of authority wants to ambush them.

In these years that we are in prison, our steps have gotten used to be calculated inside the barbed wires, our eyes have learnt by heart every centimetre of these few cubic meters of the forecourt, but our minds have never been captured by the iron fences.

How can you let yourself capitulate, when you are facing on one side the provocative wealth of those in power and on the other side tearful eyes of a child at a concentration camp, on one side the mafia of the politicians, judges and journalists who are counting people like louses of the earth and on the other side men and women who are committing suicide because of the standoffs of the economic crisis, looking in garbage to find food, sleeping in the streets, on one side armies of happy slaves being dazzled from the storefronts and the screens of a fake life and on the other side the bad bevy of loneliness and silence being your only companion.

We don’t intend to capitulate with the tyranny of authority, neither get used to living like slaves.

We know that freedom isn’t something that can be given away… neither can it be bestowed… Our freedom blossoms from the blood and the sacrifices of our struggle. Even if once again, our desirable rendezvous with freedom has been postponed because of the dastardliness of one pilot- former policeman- and the helicopter that never reached its destination, that doesn’t mean that we will give up…

We are fully aware that the recovery of our freedom will be only achieved through revolutionary violence, which will attack against the monopoly of the sadistic violence of the power.

A freedom that in our opinion is the SAME with the continuation of urban guerilla, in order to escalate the anarchist struggle. A freedom that will walk on top of the debris of this aged world and its monuments… prisons, courts, parliaments, police departments, concentration camps, labs of the technological totalitarianism…

With certitude and determination of those who will risk everything for liberation, putting again the conundrum at the table… “Freedom or Death…”

A decision… we are fighting till the end

Never repentant

Never defeated

The struggle continues…

Comradely greetings to the anarchist member of Revolutionary Struggle Pola Roupa

CCF Escape Case: “The perpetual move towards freedom…” by Christos Tsakalos of the CCF / FAI-FRI (Greece)

Wednesday, March 2nd, 2016

“It’s like playing a game with marked cards… You know that the odds are against you, but you keep playing… What for… but in order to continue the game… And to find others in the future to win the game… This is our heritage… ”

On February 15 the trial for the escape plan of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire began. A total of 28 people are being tried, including our relatives and other people who have no connection to the case.

As Conspiracy of Cells of Fire we have taken on the responsibility for the plan and its practical/technical preparation (weapons, explosives, rockets, stolen vehicles) found in the hideouts of the organization.

But the answer to what led us to the decision to escape, the judges and cops won’t find it neither in the weapons nor in the explosives or the decrypted messages found.

Anyone can find the answer as long as he listens to the rattling of the chains worn on him, chains baptized as freedom. A “freedom” which exchanged our life with cables, devices and screens… a “freedom” wearing the mask of a happy slave… But there is nothing real behind the mask…

Life is being strangled by the blackmail of the financial tyranny, the underpaid sweat of labor dungeons, the batons, tear gas and bullets of repression…
Meanwhile, the skies are raining death with bombs that turn entire countries into mass graves, small children washed up dead on the shores of the Aegean and thousands of people deserted in concentration camps…

At the same time, the lie is turned to truth from the journalist’s propaganda, technology controls our moments and emotions, the spectacle flashily dresses our loneliness, and the Western man becomes victimizer and victim of his amnesia, as he forgot what it means to live free. This is the answer to not only why someone should escape from prison, but also to become a fugitive from the legal life of an obedient being…

These thoughts are the abettor of our getaway. If we could, we would dig the walls even with our own nails to escape and to dig up the arms for the cause of freedom and revolution. And no matter how many of those attempts fail, or how many heads break onto the prison bars, at the end the bars will bend.

Because the stocks cannot be counted neither with weapons nor with explosives but with the belief that this world must be demolished, to let freedom blossom.

Both the judges and cops know us to be stubborn… That’s why they chose to take our relatives as hostages. To blackmail us emotionally and wrest our silence. But there will never be a cease fire between us and power…

The judicial authorities in 10,000 pages of files, try to make their lie a more convincing lie and call 20 witnesses (half of them executives of the anti-terrorist service) to confirm this. They accuse my mother, Evi (wife of my brother) and Christos (brother of the comrade C. Polydoros) as members of “the terrorist organization CCF”.

Their conviction has already been ordered from the palaces of power. This is a sample of the arrogance of a power that believes it’s playing without an opponent.

This trial is a poll of the struggle… In short, we must violently interrupt the onslaught of an iron repression, which, since it can not make us kneel, aims at our people.

But the challenge is not only to subvert the judicial coup that blackmails us through the persecution of our relatives, but also to transfer the fear to the homes of the enemy. Where they think they are invulnerable. And if the tracks of repression marching are already reverberating… it’s time for our own weapons to be heard.

“One day we will have to gamble for everything”, against all our yesterdays of postponement, without hesitation to stand abreast our executioners… it’s us or them…

Absence deletes people.. but there are those who are missing in exile or confined in one kilometer of “Freedom” and are present in our hearts… People just like Athena, Evi and finally Christos, because today to remain human is by itself an act of courage..

Our day will come…

"I do not regret anything…" : Political declaration of Christos Tsakalos for the third CCF trial (Greece)

Friday, December 25th, 2015

On Thursday, November 5th, I’m asked to apologize to the first court conducted for 2.5 years now against the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire . It is the trial for the 250 attacks of the organization.

In a courtroom inside the prison, full of judges, cameras, cops, secret police, anti-terror police, a few relatives and even fewer friends and comrades, they judge the actions of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire.

But how to fit in a room of a few square meters our actions that tried to challenge the wise and obedient history of our time…

An action which interrupted the eternal sleep of quiet ’peaceful’ people for several nights, agitated through the explosion of the enslaved silences of the metropolis and with our proclamations denied the rules of a life where the bosses’ violence is always present and we are constantly absent…

Through our attacks, we wanted to smash the tyranny of a brutal reality. We intend to overturn the balance of terror of a mechanically routine life. We tried to cancel the compromise with the death of caused by the wage slavery, the technological control, the boredom and empty relationships.

We wanted to make war with the “peace” of the banks, the judges, the rich, the cops, the fascists, the journalists, the politicians, but also with the “peaceful” citizens who instead of crying out, and being enraged and act, they’re hiding in resignation and grow old along with their furniture … These “peaceful” and law-abiding citizens are the most responsible of all, because through their “quietness” they allow ugliness to rule our lives. “Either with Anarchy or with authority” by the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire (Greece)

Friday, March 27th, 2015

Inter Arma received and translated:

Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, 25th day of hunger strike – Either with Anarchy or with authority.

It’s already been 25 days that the mother of Christos and Gerasimos Tsakalos and the girlfriend of the second one are locked up in the cells of democracy.

We have already been for 25 days on hunger strike until death, demanding their immediate release.

It’s been 25 days and already eight of us are in hospitals with their health condition on the limits.

25 days are not just a number on a calendar, it is the experiment of evolution of repression, with new methods of emotional blackmail against imprisoned anarchist urban guerrillas.

This is not the first time the cardinals of “justice” set up an Inquisition against relatives of imprisoned urban guerrillas. It has happened before in the past, with persecuted relatives who were ultimately acquitted in courtrooms, after they were led as trophies by the police, on the altar of media and journalistic cannibalism. But this is the first time that repression is applied with such intensity against relatives, unleashing pogroms. Three arrests, two detentions and a case file that remains open.

The velvet laws of democracy in a period of leftist management of authority, imposed their own coup, that not even the military junta had dared to impose. During the military junta, when a fugitive and wanted enemy of the regime found shelter in a relative’s house, not even the military judges dared to persecute or imprison their relatives. Today, however, democracy is revealed in an increasingly fascist and vindictive way. Even the illusions of freedom, retreat now. It wears the iron chest of law, to ensure its tyranny. It attacks by imprisoning relatives, counter-terrorism laws, hood-laws, persecutions even for political texts, increased power of the judiciary and the counter-terrorism agency, TV-trials with journalists in the role of prosecutors, raids and searches in houses… This is the background of democratic freedom.

Repression, then, is not just a word. It is not only handcuffs, investigators and locked prison doors. It is, above all, a social relationship. It is a constant promise and guarantee of the balance of power’s horror. So, this is why we say that the case of the detention of our relatives is not just a personal matter. It is the management of fear and an emotional blackmail which starts from the individual, to reach the collective. The goal is one: the complete isolation and permanent elimination of the choice of the anarchist urban guerrilla.

The power and its system knows, now, that the arrests and imprisonment of unrepentant anarchist urban guerrillas will not lead us to any surrender or truce. Even prison, can become the laboratory of subversive situations for people whose captivity did not extinguish the flame of freedom inside them. It is another thing for one to be arrested and another to surrender. The only way that the system invented to neutralize us, is to isolate us politically, through journalistic slander, and to make us hostages, held not only by the State BUT also by our choices, which now have an impact on our associates, leading them to prison.

Currently, the blackmail of authority is clear: We either make a truce or our relatives will remain in prison. These are the practices of real organized crime and mafia…

Towards the terror dilemma, we answer with the dilemma of dignity and combat – they will either release our relatives, or they will deal with the torching of social peace, on the background of the hunger strike and the interactive relationship of combat and the attack it creates.

Of course, repression has an expansionary intention, as it wishes for fear to take up every possibility of subversive relationship and action. The pre-trial detentions of our relatives work as the forefront of fear, aiming to generalize it. It is no coincidence that, in the investigative offices, they possess and have checked the books of the visits we had in prison since 2011… It is no coincidence that in the courts against us, not only is the name of everyone present kept in the cops’ files, but they’re also “mapped” (even photographed) by the counter-terrorist officers and the undercover cops inside the court room. So, the message is clear- since they didn’t hesitate to imprison our relatives, then every comrade in solidarity can be found captive in an investigative office because they helped us financially, because they sent us a letter, because they talked to us… Here’s the point where the puzzle of repression is being set up. The counter-terrorism law describes exactly this condition – “Whoever helps morally or financially a terrorist organization, can be charged with being a member of it”. The more indefinite power is, the more totally it governs… So, the counter-terrorism law wished to repress every expression of solidarity. In what other way could the term “moral help” be interpreted? This way, everything is placed on the vice of repression. Moral help can even be to send a book to a prisoner or distribute a text of theirs, or even to publish it on counter-information sites. The same goes for the financial help. Collectives funding political prisoners for their living inside prison, can be targeted.

The wager set against the onslaught of fear is demanding and unconditional. We can reverse the terms and make fear change side. Towards the fear of repression, we can stand up with the stubbornness and the decision to attack, with no truce. The beginning of the judicial coup that imprisoned our relatives can be the starting point of a restart of rupture and battle for total liberation. The hunger strike is a mound of dignity against the suffocating siege of laws. The hunger strike can work as a detonator that may trigger a fairly heterogeneous explosive mixture. It is a meeting point that, on the background of the invasion of the police and judicial state, it connects people of fight, regardless of the individual starting points, the specialties and one’s differences. In no case do we promote the fake “unity”, projecting the collective amnesia of the ruptures that have taken place. It is not a fake “all together”, but an imperative “now it is the time to act”. The challenge set by the enemy with our relatives’ imprisonment, goes over the individuals’ likes and dislikes and this is why it can release a huge dynamic. The dynamic of the sharpening of the constant anarchist attack against every form of power. There, in the attack does one discover him/herself and his/her desires. And we can argue again tomorrow, if we want… But, today, it is time for decisions.

Either with Anarchy or with authority
