Pokémon Emerald, known in Japan as Pocket Monsters Emerald (ポケットモンスター エメラルド, Poketto Monsutā Emerarudo,), is a role-playing video game developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance handheld video game console. It was first released in Japan on September 16, 2004, and was later released in North America, Australia, and Europe. It is an enhanced remake of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.
Players control a Pokémon trainer, whose general goal is to traverse the Hoenn region and conquer a series of eight Pokémon gyms in order to challenge the Elite Four and its champion. Players capture creatures called Pokémon along the way using Poké Balls and use them to fight other trainers' Pokémon. It keeps Pokémon that debuted in Ruby and Sapphire while incorporating Pokémon from Pokémon Gold and Silver in the after-game, that were not featured in Ruby and Sapphire. It features the same plot of Ruby and Sapphire except it incorporates the Pokémon Rayquaza into the story and introduces the Battle Frontier, a tournament in which players' characters can participate after the game's credits.

Pokémon (ポケモン, Pokemon, /ˈpoʊkeɪˌmɒn/ POH-kay-mon) is a media franchise owned by The Pokémon Company, and created by Satoshi Tajiri in 1995. It is centered on fictional creatures called "Pokémon", which humans known as Pokémon Trainers catch and train to battle each other for sport.
The franchise began as a pair of video games for the original Game Boy, developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo. The franchise now spans video games, trading card games, animated television shows and movies, comic books, and toys. Pokémon is the second-most successful and lucrative video game-based media franchise in the world, behind only Nintendo's Mario franchise.
The franchise celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2006. Cumulative sales of the video games (including home console games, such as Hey You, Pikachu! for the Nintendo 64) have reached more than 200 million copies. In November 2005, 4Kids Entertainment, which had managed the non-game related licensing of Pokémon, announced that it had agreed not to renew the Pokémon representation agreement. Pokémon USA Inc. (now The Pokémon Company International), a subsidiary of Japan's Pokémon Co., now oversees all Pokémon licensing outside of Asia. As of 2013, the Pokémon media franchise has grossed revenues of ¥4 trillion worldwide (equivalent to US$37.76 billion). The brand earned $2 billion in 2014 alone.
Awesome Games Done Quick and Summer Games Done Quick are two annual video game speedrun charity marathons held in the United States, managed by the communities at Speed Demos Archive and Speedruns Live. Held since 2010, the events have raised money for several charities, the most common two being the Prevent Cancer Foundation and Doctors Without Borders. The events are broadcast live on Twitch. Viewers are encouraged to donate for incentives during the stream such as naming characters in a run, having the runners attempt more difficult challenges, or winning prizes. Over $6.7 million has been raised across thirteen marathons.
Speedrunners take turns demonstrating their prowess at beating various video games in the quickest possible time, done in front of an audience as well as a livestream through Twitch.tv. Sometimes these runs may be executed in an unusual or specific way, such as fully completing every level, completing a game blindfolded, or featuring multiple runners racing against one another to complete a game first. Video games run in Games Done Quick events include both retro and modern titles. The runs typically feature commentary from the runner(s) or experienced commentators, as well as donations from an announcer.
Emerald is a gemstone and a variety of the mineral beryl (Be3Al2(SiO3)6) colored green by trace amounts of chromium and sometimes vanadium. Beryl has a hardness of 7.5–8 on the Mohs scale. Most emeralds are highly included, so their toughness (resistance to breakage) is classified as generally poor. It is a cyclosilicate.
The word "Emerald" is derived (via Old French: Esmeraude and Middle English: Emeraude), from Vulgar Latin: Esmaralda/Esmaraldus, a variant of Latin Smaragdus, which originated in Greek: σμάραγδος (smaragdos; "green gem").
Emeralds, like all colored gemstones, are graded using four basic parameters–the four Cs of Connoisseurship: Color, Cut, Clarity and Carat weight. Before the 20th century, jewelers used the term water, as in "a gem of the finest water", to express the combination of two qualities: color and clarity. Normally, in the grading of colored gemstones, color is by far the most important criterion. However, in the grading of emeralds, clarity is considered a close second. Both are necessary conditions. A fine emerald must possess not only a pure verdant green hue as described below, but also a high degree of transparency to be considered a top gem.

Showing catching all of the non event legendaries in Pokemon Emerald Follow me on Twitter to get the latest updates on my channel and future content. https://twitter.com/Zodyrus Okay, as per usual I'll give a brief description of how to get each legendary. Starting with the Regis Before you can encounter the Regi's, you must first Surf west of Pacificlog Town with a Relicanth and a Wailord in your party, as well as something with Dig. Continue hugging the bottom of the water way until you end up over top of a Dive spot, Dive down and enter into a large cave. Read the braille on the back wall and use Dig, this will open the cave where you'll enter into a smaller cave. In here, switch Wailord to your first slot, and Relicanth to your last and read the braille. This will cause the Regi Ca...
