The project Lee Van Cleef was born as a joke at the end of 2015 and is the result of long jam sessions between guitarist Marco Adamo, drummer Guido Minervini, and bassist Pietro La Tegola. From the city of Naples, this power-trio has just released their first album named 'Holy Smoke'. Influenced by bands like Earthless, Black Bombaim, and Harsh Toke (to name a few), "Holy Smoke" was recorded mixed and mastered in the Godfather studio of Naples. The artwork was done by Robin Gnista. Rooted in an engaging, enthusiastic and mesmerizing Heavy Psych, Lee Van Cleef dilates older, warm and radiant deserts of the planet Earth to the most remote, icy and foggy places of the Cosmos, the entrancing sound of 'Holy Smoke' has a deeply soothing effect.
40 minutes of pure and sacred fascination that dilates the consciential borders and gives off lucidity to the marrow of narcosis. A sacred evasion soul flying golden, soft and rolling dunes of a desert massaged by the solar breath, and stretching our perception of the space highways. Branching all vigilant stars, immortalized in a deep and dizzying stellar sky. Feel touched by ungoverned euphoria. Tremendously splendid riffs vomit truly magnetizing and stunning solos able to imprison us in a kaleidoscopic spiral of pleasure. As a child, Bill witnesses the murder of his family by four robbers. Fifteen years later, he embarks on his revenge. During his quest, he crosses paths with Ryan, an ex-con who wants the money the robbers owe him.When Bill (John Phillip Law) was a young child he witnesses a gang kill his father, and rape and kill his mother and sister, while he was spared. Now Bill is a young man who is now intent on exacting revenge on those who were responsible for killing his family. He also meets a gunslinger/ex-con Ryan (Lee Van Cleef) who has just been released from jail and who's out to even the score with those exact outlaws, which betrayed him. So, now the two, tussle with each other to see who'll get to them first, but with the time they spend with each other, Bill also learns some valuable tips from Ryan.
As a kid growing up I loved my Westerns, but they had to be Cowboys and Indians, if there were no Indians, I just didn't give a damn. But how have times changed. I have just started to get back into the genre (and no, I don't care if there ain't no Indians), and lately the spaghetti western sub-genre. I'm a big fan of Sergio Leone' s Dollar films, which people say are the catalyst for spaghetti westerns. I didn't know anything of this film and probably wouldn't have paid much attention to it, but since I read some positive comments about it on a thread (in the horror board, of all places), I thought it would definitely be worth a look. But, I didn't have to go out of my way to find it, as it pop up on TV a week or two later. Anyhow, I've babbled enough about my personal experience, back to the film.

Lee Van Cleef
Clarence Leroy "Lee" Van Cleef, Jr. (January 9, 1925 – December 16, 1989), was an American actor whose sinister features overshadowed his acting skills and typecast him as a minor villain for a decade before he achieved stardom in Spaghetti Westerns such as The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Hatchet-faced with piercing eyes, he declined to have his hook nose altered to play a sympathetic character in his film debut, High Noon, and was relegated to a non-speaking outlaw as a result. Van Cleef had suffered serious injuries in a car crash, and had begun to lose interest in his apparently waning career by the time Sergio Leone gave him a role in For a Few Dollars More. The film made him a box-office draw, especially in Europe.
Youth
Van Cleef was born on January 9, 1925 in Somerville, New Jersey, the son of Marion Levinia (née Van Fleet) and Clarence LeRoy Van Cleef. At the age of 17, he obtained his high school diploma early in his senior year in order to enlist in the United States Navy in September, 1942. After basic training and further training at the Naval Fleet Sound School, he was assigned to a submarine chaser and then to a minesweeper, USS Incredible, on which he worked as a sonarman.

Phillip Law
Phillip Garth Law AC, CBE, FAA (21 April 1912 – 28 February 2010) was an Australian scientist and explorer who served as director of Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE) from 1949 to 1966.
Early life
Law was born in Tallangatta, Victoria, the second of six children of Arthur and Lily Law. One of his younger sisters was the traveller and writer Wendy Law Suart. After attending Hamilton High School, he taught in secondary schools, including Melbourne High School where he taught physics and boxing, while studying part-time at the University of Melbourne, earning an MSc in 1941. He was the Melbourne University lightweight boxing champion and also lectured in physics there from 1943 to 1948.
During the Second World War he enlisted in the RAAF, though the university physics department, which was involved in weapons research, insisted that he continue his work there. He did however manage to visit the battle areas of New Guinea on a four-month scientific mission for the Australian Army.

John Phillip Law
John Phillip Law (September 7, 1937 – May 13, 2008) was an American film actor.
He was best known for his roles as the blind angel Pygar in the science fiction cult classic Barbarella (1968) with Jane Fonda, and as news anchor Robin Stone in The Love Machine (1971). The latter reteamed him with Alexandra Hay, his co-star from the 1968 "acid comedy" Skidoo.
Career
Law was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff John Law and actress Phyllis Sallee and the brother of actor Thomas Augustus Law (also known as Tom Law).
He worked as a film extra as a child, and had a non-speaking role as a courtroom page in John Sturges's The Magnificent Yankee (1950). He studied drama at the University of Hawaii and appeared in several university stage productions.
After graduation, Law moved to New York, where he studied with Elia Kazan's Lincoln Center Repertory Theatre and had a small role in Garson Kanin's comedy Come On Strong (1962). Like many American actors he moved to Italy where he acted in several films. One of these was seen by the director Norman Jewison, who thought Law perfect for the role of a young Soviet sailor in The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming (1966).

For a Few Dollars More (Italian: Per qualche dollaro in più) is a 1965 Italian spaghetti western film directed by Sergio Leone and starring Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, and Gian Maria Volontè. German actor Klaus Kinski also plays a supporting role as a secondary villain. The film was released in the United States in 1967 and is the second part of what is commonly known as the Dollars Trilogy, following A Fistful of Dollars and preceding The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
Plot
The Man with No Name—"Monco"/"Manco"— and Colonel Douglas Mortimer—the "Man in Black"—are two bounty hunters in pursuit of "El Indio," one of the most wanted fugitives in the Wild West, and his gang. El Indio is ruthless, clever, and brutal. He has a musical pocketwatch that he plays before engaging in gun duels: "When the chimes finish, begin," he says. Flashbacks reveal that El Indio took the watch from a young woman whom El Indio found with her lover (in Joe Millard's novelization of the film, her newly wed husband), killed him, and raped her; she killed herself while being raped. There is a photograph of the woman inside the cover of the watch; it was a gift from her lover (in the novelization, it was a wedding gift from her brother).

From the city of Naples, this power-trio has just released their first album named 'Holy Smoke'. Influenced by bands like Earthless, Black Bombaim, and Harsh Toke (to name a few), "Holy Smoke" was recorded mixed and mastered in the Godfather studio of Naples. The artwork was done by Robin Gnista. Rooted in an engaging, enthusiastic and mesmerizing Heavy Psych, Lee Van Cleef dilates older, warm and radiant deserts of the planet Earth to the most remote, icy and foggy places of the Cosmos, the entrancing sound of 'Holy Smoke' has a deeply soothing effect.

As a kid growing up I loved my Westerns, but they had to be Cowboys and Indians, if there were no Indians, I just didn't give a damn. But how have times changed. I have just started to get back into the genre (and no, I don't care if there ain't no Indians), and lately the spaghetti western sub-genre. I'm a big fan of Sergio Leone' s Dollar films, which people say are the catalyst for spaghetti westerns. I didn't know anything of this film and probably wouldn't have paid much attention to it, but since I read some positive comments about it on a thread (in the horror board, of all places), I thought it would definitely be worth a look. But, I didn't have to go out of my way to find it, as it pop up on TV a week or two later. Anyhow, I've babbled enough about my personal experience, back to the film.

The project Lee Van Cleef was born as a joke at the end of 2015 and is the result of long jam sessions between guitarist Marco Adamo, drummer Guido Minervini, and bassist Pietro La Tegola. From the city of Naples, this power-trio has just released their first album named 'Holy Smoke'. Influenced by bands like Earthless, Black Bombaim, and Harsh Toke (to name a few), "Holy Smoke" was recorded mixed and mastered in the Godfather studio of Naples. The artwork was done by Robin Gnista. Rooted in an engaging, enthusiastic and mesmerizing Heavy Psych, Lee Van Cleef dilates older, warm and radiant deserts of the planet Earth to the most remote, icy and foggy places of the Cosmos, the entrancing sound of 'Holy Smoke' has a deeply soothing effect.
40 minutes of pure and sacred fascination that dilates the consciential borders and gives off lucidity to the marrow of narcosis. During his quest, he crosses paths with Ryan, an ex-con who wants the money the robbers owe him.When Bill (John Phillip Law) was a young child he witnesses a gang kill his father, and rape and kill his mother and sister, while he was spared. Now Bill is a young man who is now intent on exacting revenge on those who were responsible for killing his family. He also meets a gunslinger/ex-con Ryan (Lee Van Cleef) who has just been released from jail and who's out to even the score with those exact outlaws, which betrayed him. So, now the two, tussle with each other to see who'll get to them first, but with the time they spend with each other, Bill also learns some valuable tips from Ryan.
As a kid growing up I loved my Westerns, but they had to be Cowboys and Indians, if there were no Indians, I just didn't give a damn. But how have times changed. I have just started to get back into the genre (and no, I don't care if there ain't no Indians), and lately the spaghetti western sub-genre. I'm a big fan of Sergio Leone' s Dollar films, which people say are the catalyst for spaghetti westerns. I didn't know anything of this film and probably wouldn't have paid much attention to it, but since I read some positive comments about it on a thread (in the horror board, of all places), I thought it would definitely be worth a look. But, I didn't have to go out of my way to find it, as it pop up on TV a week or two later. Anyhow, I've babbled enough about my personal experience, back to the film.

The project Lee Van Cleef was born as a joke at the end of 2015 and is the result of long jam sessions between guitarist Marco Adamo, drummer Guido Minervini, and bassist Pietro La Tegola. From the city of Naples, this power-trio has just released their first album named 'Holy Smoke'. Influenced by bands like Earthless, Black Bombaim, and Harsh Toke (to name a few), "Holy Smoke" was recorded mixed and mastered in the Godfather studio of Naples. The artwork was done by Robin Gnista. Rooted in an engaging, enthusiastic and mesmerizing Heavy Psych, Lee Van Cleef dilates older, warm and radiant deserts of the planet Earth to the most remote, icy and foggy places of the Cosmos, the entrancing sound of 'Holy Smoke' has a deeply soothing effect.
40 minutes of pure and sacred fascination that dilates the consciential borders and gives off lucidity to the marrow of narcosis. A sacred evasion soul flying golden, soft and rolling dunes of a desert massaged by the solar breath, and stretching our perception of the space highways. During his quest, he crosses paths with Ryan, an ex-con who wants the money the robbers owe him.When Bill (John Phillip Law) was a young child he witnesses a gang kill his father, and rape and kill his mother and sister, while he was spared. Now Bill is a young man who is now intent on exacting revenge on those who were responsible for killing his family. He also meets a gunslinger/ex-con Ryan (Lee Van Cleef) who has just been released from jail and who's out to even the score with those exact outlaws, which betrayed him. So, now the two, tussle with each other to see who'll get to them first, but with the time they spend with each other, Bill also learns some valuable tips from Ryan.
As a kid growing up I loved my Westerns, but they had to be Cowboys and Indians, if there were no Indians, I just didn't give a damn. But how have times changed. I have just started to get back into the genre (and no, I don't care if there ain't no Indians), and lately the spaghetti western sub-genre. I'm a big fan of Sergio Leone' s Dollar films, which people say are the catalyst for spaghetti westerns. I didn't know anything of this film and probably wouldn't have paid much attention to it, but since I read some positive comments about it on a thread (in the horror board, of all places), I thought it would definitely be worth a look. But, I didn't have to go out of my way to find it, as it pop up on TV a week or two later. Anyhow, I've babbled enough about my personal experience, back to the film.

As a kid growing up I loved my Westerns, but they had to be Cowboys and Indians, if there were no Indians, I just didn't give a damn. But how have times changed. I have just started to get back into the genre (and no, I don't care if there ain't no Indians), and lately the spaghetti western sub-genre. I'm a big fan of Sergio Leone' s Dollar films, which people say are the catalyst for spaghetti westerns. I didn't know anything of this film and probably wouldn't have paid much attention to it, but since I read some positive comments about it on a thread (in the horror board, of all places), I thought it would definitely be worth a look. But, I didn't have to go out of my way to find it, as it pop up on TV a week or two later. Anyhow, I've babbled enough about my personal experience, back to the film.
