South Sea or South Seas or Southsea may refer to:
South is a noun, adjective, or adverb indicating direction or geography. It is one of the four cardinal directions or compass points. South is the polar opposite of north and is perpendicular to east and west.
The word south comes from Old English sūþ, from earlier Proto-Germanic *sunþaz ("south"), possibly related to the same Proto-Indo-European root that the word sun derived from.
By convention, the bottom side of a map is south, although reversed maps exist that defy this convention. To go south using a compass for navigation, set a bearing or azimuth of 180°. Alternatively, in the Northern Hemisphere outside the tropics, the Sun will be roughly in the south at midday.
True south is the direction towards the southern end of the axis about which the earth rotates, called the South Pole. The South Pole is located in Antarctica. Magnetic south is the direction towards the south magnetic pole, some distance away from the south geographic pole.
Roald Amundsen, from Norway, was the first to reach the South Pole, on 14 December 1911, after Ernest Shackleton from the UK was forced to turn back some distance short.
South is a cardinal direction.
South or The South may also refer to:
South China (simplified Chinese: 华南; traditional Chinese: 華南; pinyin: huá nán) is a geographical and cultural region that covers the southernmost part of China. Its precise meaning varies with context.
In the broadest sense, Southern China can denote the entire portion of the country south of the line demarcated by the Qin Mountains and Huai River. Between 1945 and 1949, the Republic of China defined Guizhou, Yunnan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Fujian and Taiwan as the "Seven Provinces of South China" (simplified Chinese: 华南七省; traditional Chinese: 華南七省; pinyin: huá nán qī shěng). The term can also be used to denote the Lingnan region; but today, the phrase is generally used to refer only to Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Hong Kong and Macau (historically also known as Liangguang). Defined as such, South China is also contained within South Central China.

In a new, digital reincarnation, “Cinerama transports you to lush tropic islands…adventure-splashed with a thousand excitements!” Cinerama South Seas Adventure proved to be the 5th and last of the original, 3-panel Cinerama travelogues. Released in 1958, and 4 months after the 3-panel competitor, “Windjammer: The Voyage of the Christian Radich”, it is at moments similar, although overall an entirely different tale than previously seen in the format. With a partial narration by Orson Welles, the picture also, surprisingly may be the first to chronicle primitive bungee jumping. Five separate stories are dramatized, woven out of a series of theoretical, island-hopping voyages that start en route to Hawaii, and after traversing the South Seas as far as Australia, end up flying back home from...
This is a reel I decided to put together about 7 months ago while I was attending South Seas Animation School. I use reference and was influenced by the following animators: Joseph Gilland, Michel Gagne, Chris Graf and Ryan Woodward. I had a lot of support and direction from my tutors Greg Chapman and Geoff Ind.
The Pacific Voyagers, Shark Angels and Sea Shepherd have forged a partnership based upon a shared mission: thru art, culture, community and grassroots movements, we can positively celebrate the oceans, share our stories and work together to protect our blue planet. And now, three voyagers – one from Vanuatu and two from Fiji - have joined us on the Brigitte Bardot for the next several weeks and two of our crew have joined the Fijian Vaka, the Uto ni Yalo to even further our cultural and conservation exchange. We can’t wait to hear about the amazing ideas that come from this exchange as well as the good work the crews do together spreading the message – one planet, one ocean, one cause. We came to the South Pacific wanting to listen, learn and collaborate. With 120 new ambassadors, teac...

This is a video review of our week spent at South Seas Island Resort in Captiva Florida. The time was spent with family and friends and this is how I chose to document it. Almost all of the video was shot at South Seas Island Resort with some of the shots taken in Sanibel. South Seas is a great place and I highly recommend it for a family vacation. One of the places we stopped in Sanibel was for the Sanibel Thriller. I highly recommend this boat ride, very fun! The story of Mt Roskill resident Bill Sevesi. One of the few truly great men of New Zealand music. In recent years he has been responsible for, amongst other things, the ukulele in schools phenomena. No so long ago we had our documentary transferred from the original print. The print has seen a lot of a life as you'll see, but it's nice to have a bit of analogue in this digital world. At the same time we upgraded the 'optical' sound mix. Produced and Directed by Chris Todd and Chris Williams 1992

Not only World Class muck diving at our new sites in Lembata and Pantar, not only the classical walls and coral reefs that made this area famous, but now also plenty of high voltage diving on rocky corners, islets and pinnacles along the Southern shores and in the straits between these islands. Highly diverse habitats, with hard coral dominated reefs, pinnacles and walls covered in combinations of hard and soft corals and other invertebrates, various types of sandy habitats (volcan...

The trash from your mouth is far from the truth
You're promises are thing and I need action for proof
See with my eyes, Can't stand your lies, See with my eyes
How that shit flies, See with my eyes
The trash from your mouth is far from the truth
Your promises are thin and I need actions for proof
