Chess Recognition 1.0 Beta - Presentation at the Lahden Shakki Club (24/05/2010)
Presentation of the "Chess Recognition 1.0 Beta" (not final version) application at the Lahden Shakki Club, in Lahti (Finland) - 24/May/2010. This is part of the Bachelor of Engineering Degree Project of Ivan Paquico Rodriguez and Cristina Palmero Cantariño. This application automatically detects the moves in a chess game in real time just by playing in front of a camera, and annotates these moves in a .pgn format file enabling to open the game in a commercial chess software. No special chess boards and pieces are needed. The video shows some games played at the presentation and the last features added to this version of the application at that moment: "Undo Move" and possibility to "Change the Recognition Time". Since this presentation was done before finishing the project, these are not the last features added to the application, which are: - Support for blind people - Possibility of starting from any position - Some Bugs fixed ------------------ Presentación de la aplicación "Chess Recognition 1.0 Beta" (no la versión final) en el "Lahden Shakki Club", club de ajedrez de Lahti, Finlandia, el 24 de Mayo de 2010.
