Clyde Elmer Anderson (March 16, 1912 – January 22, 1998), more commonly known as C. Elmer Anderson, was an American politician who served as the 28th Governor of Minnesota from September 27, 1951 to January 5, 1955.
Anderson was born in Brainerd, Minnesota in 1912. His father died when he was only 14, forcing him to get a job with a magazine and newspaper company to help support the family. He attended Brainerd High School and spent two quarters at the University of Minnesota studying medicine before running out of tuition money and returning home to continue working.
In 1938, he ran as lieutenant governor of Minnesota with Republican gubernatorial candidate Harold Stassen and won. At 31 and 26 years old, respectively, Stassen and Anderson were the youngest governor and lieutenant governor in state history. Anderson went on to win re-election as lieutenant governor five more times under three different governors. He holds the record for the most total years served as the state's lieutenant governor.
Bud Anderson is a WWII Triple Ace who flew the P-51 Mustang Old Crow, while assigned to the 357th Fighter Group "Yoxford Boys," 8th Air Force, Leiston Field, United Kingdom. The 357th Fighter Group was credited with shooting down 609 enemy aircraft in only 15 months, a pace no other fighter group equaled. The 357th produced 42 Aces - more than any other group. Bud was the leading Ace of the 363rd Fighter Squadron with 16 1/4 victories and today is the leading living ace of World War II. Col. Anderson will appear with the “Old Crow” P-51s in his World War II paint scheme. Thank you to P-51 owners Jack Roush and Jim Hagedorn for being the keepers of these treasures. They will talk about their aircraft. Bud’s World War II stories are always a big hit. Col Anderson’s book “To Fly & Fight” 1hr....

für den flieger nach mallorca
hab ich eben eingecheckt
eine kleine woche urlaub
die die lebensgeister weckt
plötzlich hält mir wer von hinten
mit der hand die augen zu
und ich frag mich ganz verwundert
wer bist du
lass mich raten du bist lena
dies parfüm das kenn ich doch
deine weichen zarten hände
ganz genau wie früher noch
lass mich raten du bist lena
alles ist zwar lange her
aber wer dich einmal küsste
der vergisst das niemals mehr
dieser mund und deine augen
waren ja schon früher schön
aber wie sie heute strahlen
hab ich sie noch nie gesehn
vor uns liegen sieben tage
und vielleicht ein leben lang
wenn ich nur daran denke
fang ich zu träumen an
lass mich raten du bist lena
dies parfüm das kenn ich doch
deine weichen zarten hände
ganz genau wie früher noch
lass mich raten du bist lena
alles ist zwar lange her
aber wer dich einmal küsste
der vergisst das niemals mehr
