It was a part of the royal district constructed during Karim Khan Zand's reign, which includes Arg of Karim Khan, Vakil Bazaar, Vakil Mosque and many administrative buildings. The monument is inscribed with the number 917 on the list of national works of Iran.
Mohammad Karim Khan Zand (Lurish and Persian: کریم خان زند, also Romanized as Mohammad Karīm Khān-e Zand), was the founder of the Zand Dynasty, ruling from 1751 to 1779. He ruled all of Iran except for Khorasan. He also ruled over some Caucasian lands and occupied Basra for some years.
Karim Khan belonged to the Zand tribe, an Iranian tribe of Lak or Lur origin. Karim Khan was born in ca. 1705 somewhere in western Iran. In 1732, Nader Shah, who was the de facto ruler of the Safavid Empire, moved thousands of Bakhtiaris and several Zand families to Khorasan, Karim Khan and his family being one of them. Later in 1736, Nader Shah deposed the Safavid ruler Abbas III and assumed the throne for himself, thus starting the Afsharid dynasty. However, Nader Shah was later murdered in 1747 at the hands of his own men, which gave the Bakhtiaris under the leadership of Ali-Mardan Khan and the Zands under Karim Khan the opportunity to return to their former lands in western Iran.
Vakil (Persian: وكيل, also Romanized as Vakīl) is a village in Chaldoran-e Shomali Rural District, in the Central District of Chaldoran County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 193, in 36 families.
Public baths originated from a communal need for cleanliness at a time when most people did not have access to private bathing facilities. The term public is not completely accurate, as some types of public baths are restricted depending on membership, gender, religious affiliation, or other reasons. As societies have changed, the need for public baths has reduced as private bathing facilities became more commonly available. Public baths have also become incorporated into the social system as meeting places. As the title suggests public bathing does not refer only to bathing. In ancient times public bathing included saunas, massages and relaxation therapies. Members of the society considered it as a place to meet and socialize. Public bathing could be compared to the spa of modern times.
The earliest public baths are found in the ruins in of the Indus Valley Civilization. According to John Keay, the "Great Bath" of Mohenjo Daro in present-day Pakistan was the size of 'a modest municipal swimming pool', complete with stairs leading down to the water at each one of its ends.

I visited Karim Khan's castle which used to be a prison, as well as the Vakil bath. I was very surprised from what I heard about these places; I find their history very interesting. They used to heat up these public baths with just one candle, but today people have no idea how they got to do that. I realized how Iran had a lot of knowledge in certain areas. Unfortunately the country has been attacked so many times which lead to their loss of interesting ideas. This place is very interesting to see; however I suggest you go along with someone that knows the history of this place since that's what was interesting the most. The statues helped to visualize what it was like back then. If you liked this video, give it a thumbs up! Let me know what you thought in the comments below :) Music p...

Travel video about destination Shiraz in Iran. The Koran Gate leads to the city of Shiraz, a city of love, roses and poetry that is located in the south of the Iranian Highlands. Famous Persian poets once lived in the city in which they created works of great beauty and even today their mausoleums are visited with much reverence. With its many domed rooms, the Vakil Bath House was built in around 1776 A.D. Within the vaults, numerous frescoes depict floral ornaments and religious motifs, with life-like characters amid inviting bathing facilities. The Vakil complex also contains a mosque that was built at the same time as the Bazaar and is a replicre of a regal Arabian mosque. All from the same source, forty eight twisted ribbed marble columns support the ceiling that is covered with ti...
