Brancaleone da Norcia è di nuovo in viaggio, ma senza la sua banda di straccioni. Questa volta è diretto in Terra Santa, alla conquista del Santo Sepolcro. Improvvisamente Brancaleone e i suoi, fedeli al papa Gregorio, vengono attaccati dai soldati seguaci dell'antipapa Clemente: si salvano solo quattro persone e lui, il quale, disonorato per non essere morto in battaglia, invoca l'Angelo della Morte che gli si palesa. Brancaleone, spaventato dall'apparizione, ottiene comunque una proroga di sette lune per avere il tempo di morire di una gloriosa morte. La proroga gli viene eccezionalmente concessa, anzi la Morte suggerisce a Brancaleone come trovare la sua agognata fine: a poca distanza da lì, sta per commettersi un crimine contro ad un innocente. Brancaleone con il fido cavallo Aquilante si "precipita" su luogo e, dopo un combattimento rocambolesco con l'assassino, salva la vita al neonato, che stava per essere ucciso dal soldato Thorz. Scopre così dal soldato tedesco sconfitto che il bambino è il figlio di Boemondo, re normanno di Sicilia partito per le Crociate, e che è stato il fratello del re, il principe Turone di Squillace, ad ordinare di ucciderlo; cavallerescamente si impegna a riconsegnarlo al padre, anche per ricevere ricca ricompensa. Raggiunto nel frattempo dai quattro superstiti decide di riprendere con questa nuova armata (a cui si aggiunge l'infido Thorz) il suo cammino verso Gerusalemme e, tutti assieme partono per nuove avventure.
ERRORI STORICI :
Brancaleone alle crociate presenta svariate incongruenze storiche, ma occorre ricordare che si tratta di una commedia basata su elementi popolari e fantasiosi, e non di un vero e proprio film storico che intenda ricostruire fatti realmente accaduti. Gli autori pertanto hanno mescolato con una certa libertà nomi e date di fantasia con qualche riferimento storico più autentico, ma sempre nel quadro di un film che rappresenta fatti e situazioni per lo più immaginari.
Quando i pellegrini vengono massacrati dal Vescovo Spadone e dai suoi uomini, siamo intorno al 1084 periodo di Clemente III, riferimento che nel film che ci permette di datare l'avvenimento. Tuttavia il motivo del massacro è teologicamente e storicamente assolutamente assurdo perché né Clemente né alcun altro Papa o Antipapa della storia ha mai cambiato il dogma trinitario.
Dato che il secondo film è la continuazione del primo, anche se spariscono Zenone, Teofilatto e l'armata in sé, o anche se nel primo film l'Ottone fosse Ottone III (imperatore dal 983 al 1002), il lasso temporale è troppo grande per far combaciare il sequel alla perfezione. Inoltre v'è da considerare che Clemente salì al soglio come antipapa nel 1080 mentre la prima crociata fu lanciata il 27 novembre 1095 da papa Urbano II. Gregorio VII, pontefice all'epoca storica del film, aveva idealizzato il senso delle crociate, ma non riuscì a concretizzarle sotto il suo regno. Se l'Armata stava partecipando alla prima crociata, la seconda incongruenza è dunque palese, se invece stava partecipando ad un'ipotetica "primissima" crociata, mai realizzata, l'incastro storico sarebbe teoricamente possibile se non fosse che vengono citati re e principi che invece parteciparono alla I Crociata.
L'episodio del rogo della strega Tiburzia è da considerarsi del tutto anacronistico; infatti a quel tempo non era praticata la caccia alle streghe, un fenomeno riconducibile ai primi secoli dell'Età moderna.
La brava cantautrice siciliana torna al festival nel 1997 con la bella canzone "Confusa E Felice". Il brano non supera le eliminatorie e non arriva in finale.
Poco male, è il caso di dire "beati gli ultimi se arriveranno primi": il brano si rivela sin da subito un grande successo radiofonico e l'artista è costretta ad incidere velocemente l'album dal titolo omonimo che era in fase di preparazione. Risulterà per altro essere uno fra i suoi album più belli, riusciti e venduti (disco di platino, alla faccia delle solite giurie sanremesi comprate a "pastette")! Da qui in poi la Consoli si consacra definitivamente fino ai giorni nostri nel mondo delle sette note, riscuotendo ampi successi di critica e pubblico e riuscendo ad ottenere ampi riconoscimenti e una carriera lusinghiera.

Respaldado por un notable índice de ventas y pese a la gran controversia que levantó su publicación, esta obra se ha convertido en todo un referente de los últimos tiempos para el descubrimiento de las creencias e idiosincrasia de los lamas o monjes tibetanos, que siempre ha estado oculto tras un gran hermetismo. Este auténtico secretismo ha perdurado hasta nuestros días, pese a los loables intentos que se han hecho para promover la accesibilidad del esoterismo y filosofía oriental a nuestra cultura occidental ya desde el siglo XIX por autores como H. Blavatsky y posteriores como Rene Guenon. Estos esfuerzos, sin embargo, han quedado realmente a un nivel inaccesible para el hombre occidental medio, máxime si no hay un interés sincero por el ocultismo tradicional por medio. Audiolibro: El tercer Ojo - Tuesday Lobsasng Rampa Capítulo 1.- Los primeros años en casa. Narrador: Juan José Palanca “Soy tibetano, uno de los pocos que han llegado a este extraño mundo occidental”– escribe el autor en el prólogo del libro-“Me aseguran que algunas de mis afirmaciones es posible que no sean creídas. El Tibet es un país desconocido para el resto del mundo”. “El tercer ojo: autobiografía de un lama tibetano” es un libro que fue publicado por primera vez en 1956 en Londres ; debido a su éxito inicial pronto fue traducido a otros idiomas, apareciendo en español ya hacia 1958. Respaldado por un notable índice de ventas y pese a la gran controversia que levantó su publicación, esta obra se ha convertido en todo un referente de los últimos tiempos para el descubrimiento de las creencias e idiosincrasia de los lamas o monjes tibetanos, que siempre ha estado oculto tras un gran hermetismo. Este auténtico secretismo ha perdurado hasta nuestros días, pese a los loables intentos que se han hecho para promover la accesibilidad del esoterismo y filosofía oriental a nuestra cultura occidental ya desde el siglo XIX por autores como H. Blavatsky y posteriores como Rene Guenon. Estos esfuerzos, sin embargo, han quedado realmente a un nivel inaccesible para el hombre occidental medio, máxime si no hay un interés sincero por el ocultismo tradicional por medio. Es, sobre todo, por este motivo por el cual se ha mantenido la creencia general de que las puertas de los lamasterios tibetanos albergan desde tiempo inmemorial un conocimiento místico y ritual esotérico casi sobrenatural, intencionadamente oculto e inaccesible al mundo exterior y sólo percibido levemente por algunos extranjeros privilegiados. En este contexto y en una época en la que se estaban gestando las bases de lo que luego se denominaría el pensamiento “new age”, tan afín a todo lo oriental, aparece el libro “El tercer ojo”; una obra autobiográfica que revela, a través de las experiencias de un lama tibetano de alto rango, los secretos de los misterios y rituales aprendidos y practicados tradicionalmente por la élite de los iniciados tibetanos, heredados de sus más lejanos ancestros.

La brava cantautrice siciliana torna al festival nel 1997 con la bella canzone "Confusa E Felice". Il brano non supera le eliminatorie e non arriva in finale. Poco male, è il caso di dire "beati gli ultimi se arriveranno primi": il brano si rivela sin da subito un grande successo radiofonico e l'artista è costretta ad incidere velocemente l'album dal titolo omonimo che era in fase di preparazione. Risulterà per altro essere uno fra i suoi album più belli, riusciti e venduti (disco di platino, alla faccia delle solite giurie sanremesi comprate a "pastette")! Brancaleone da Norcia è di nuovo in viaggio, ma senza la sua banda di straccioni. Questa volta è diretto in Terra Santa, alla conquista del Santo Sepolcro. Improvvisamente Brancaleone e i suoi, fedeli al papa Gregorio, vengono attaccati dai soldati seguaci dell'antipapa Clemente: si salvano solo quattro persone e lui, il quale, disonorato per non essere morto in battaglia, invoca l'Angelo della Morte che gli si palesa. Brancaleone, spaventato dall'apparizione, ottiene comunque una proroga di sette lune per avere il tempo di morire di una gloriosa morte. La proroga gli viene eccezionalmente concessa, anzi la Morte suggerisce a Brancaleone come trovare la sua agognata fine: a poca distanza da lì, sta per commettersi un crimine contro ad un innocente. Brancaleone con il fido cavallo Aquilante si "precipita" su luogo e, dopo un combattimento rocambolesco con l'assassino, salva la vita al neonato, che stava per essere ucciso dal soldato Thorz. Scopre così dal soldato tedesco sconfitto che il bambino è il figlio di Boemondo, re normanno di Sicilia partito per le Crociate, e che è stato il fratello del re, il principe Turone di Squillace, ad ordinare di ucciderlo; cavallerescamente si impegna a riconsegnarlo al padre, anche per ricevere ricca ricompensa. Raggiunto nel frattempo dai quattro superstiti decide di riprendere con questa nuova armata (a cui si aggiunge l'infido Thorz) il suo cammino verso Gerusalemme e, tutti assieme partono per nuove avventure.
ERRORI STORICI :
Brancaleone alle crociate presenta svariate incongruenze storiche, ma occorre ricordare che si tratta di una commedia basata su elementi popolari e fantasiosi, e non di un vero e proprio film storico che intenda ricostruire fatti realmente accaduti. Gli autori pertanto hanno mescolato con una certa libertà nomi e date di fantasia con qualche riferimento storico più autentico, ma sempre nel quadro di un film che rappresenta fatti e situazioni per lo più immaginari.
Quando i pellegrini vengono massacrati dal Vescovo Spadone e dai suoi uomini, siamo intorno al 1084 periodo di Clemente III, riferimento che nel film che ci permette di datare l'avvenimento. Tuttavia il motivo del massacro è teologicamente e storicamente assolutamente assurdo perché né Clemente né alcun altro Papa o Antipapa della storia ha mai cambiato il dogma trinitario.
Dato che il secondo film è la continuazione del primo, anche se spariscono Zenone, Teofilatto e l'armata in sé, o anche se nel primo film l'Ottone fosse Ottone III (imperatore dal 983 al 1002), il lasso temporale è troppo grande per far combaciare il sequel alla perfezione. Inoltre v'è da considerare che Clemente salì al soglio come antipapa nel 1080 mentre la prima crociata fu lanciata il 27 novembre 1095 da papa Urbano II. Gregorio VII, pontefice all'epoca storica del film, aveva idealizzato il senso delle crociate, ma non riuscì a concretizzarle sotto il suo regno. Se l'Armata stava partecipando alla prima crociata, la seconda incongruenza è dunque palese, se invece stava partecipando ad un'ipotetica "primissima" crociata, mai realizzata, l'incastro storico sarebbe teoricamente possibile se non fosse che vengono citati re e principi che invece parteciparono alla I Crociata.
L'episodio del rogo della strega Tiburzia è da considerarsi del tutto anacronistico; infatti a quel tempo non era praticata la caccia alle streghe, un fenomeno riconducibile ai primi secoli dell'Età moderna.

She now uses her camera (and her superpower) to shed light on the clash of cultures between Muslim parents who prioritise honour and their children's desire for freedom. She argues that we need to understand what is happening to fight the pull to extremism.

Deeyah Khan is a critically acclaimed music producer and Emmy and Peabody award-winning documentary film director. Her work highlights human rights, women's voices and freedom of expression. Her skill as a multidisciplinary artist led her to film and music as the language for her social activism. Born in Norway to immigrant parents of Pashtun and Punjabi ancestry, the experience of living between different cultures, both the challenges and the beauty, dominates her artistic vision.
Her 2012 multi-award winning documentary Banaz: A Love Story chronicles the life and death of Banaz Mahmod. Her second film the Bafta-nominated Jihad involved two years of interviews and filming with Islamic extremists, convicted terrorists and former jihadis.
Deeyah is the founder of social purpose arts and media production company, Fuuse which works to create intercultural dialogue and understanding by confronting the most complex and controversial topics, and sharing alternative views and excluded voices.

Inspired by only a couple of paragraphs written by Tolkien in the appendices of the Lord of the Rings we follow Arathorn and Gilraen, the parents of Aragorn, from their first meeting through a turbulent time in their people's history.

“El tercer ojo: autobiografía de un lama tibetano” es un libro que fue publicado por primera vez en 1956 en Londres ; debido a su éxito inicial pronto fue traducido a otros idiomas, apareciendo en español ya hacia 1958.
Respaldado por un notable índice de ventas y pese a la gran controversia que levantó su publicación, esta obra se ha convertido en todo un referente de los últimos tiempos para el descubrimiento de las creencias e idiosincrasia de los lamas o monjes tibetanos, que siempre ha estado oculto tras un gran hermetismo. Este auténtico secretismo ha perdurado hasta nuestros días, pese a los loables intentos que se han hecho para promover la accesibilidad del esoterismo y filosofía oriental a nuestra cultura occidental ya desde el siglo XIX por autores como H. Blavatsky y posteriores como Rene Guenon. Estos esfuerzos, sin embargo, han quedado realmente a un nivel inaccesible para el hombre occidental medio, máxime si no hay un interés sincero por el ocultismo tradicional por medio. Cloudio and Riccardo are two Italians who have decided to live in Iran. Riccardo is a professional chef and owns his own restaurant in northern Tehran where he serves Italian food. Cloudio has been living in Tehran for some time and speaks Farsi fluently. In April 2013, I will begin my solo motorbike adventure starting in Perth, Western Australia and ending in Tallinn, Estonia. The journey is expected to take 12 months crossing some of the most remote and culturally rich locations in the world. I have previously travelled to nearly 50 countries, most of which are 2nd and 3rd world countries. I choose these countries because it is there that I more often experience the vividly intense nature of life & death and the world’s most natural beauty. My name's Michael and I'm the Marketing Manager for Wild Frontiers. I'm here at the magnificent site of Persepolis in Iran. I've been in Iran for two weeks now and so far I've been enchanted by this fascinating country.
CITIES
The capital Tehran is most people's starting point, and in this busy city you can see ostentatious ornaments from the royal household in the crown jewels museum, and wander around the Shah's old residence, Golestan Palace. Just north of Tehran you can visit the Elburz Mountains for skiing in the winter or hiking in the summer.
But the real highlights lie elsewhere. In the off-the-beaten-track city of Yazd you'll find a cityscape dotted with the ingenious wind tunnels -- which could be described as the world's first air-conditioning system - the ancient Zoroastrian site of the Towers of Silence, the magnificent Friday Mosque and a number of beautiful palaces and gardens.
Shiraz meanwhile is a lovely university town, known as the city of poets, wine, literature and flowers, and is a real delight. I particularly loved visiting the atmospheric tomb of the Persian poet Hafez. In the evenings it has a magical atmosphere as people gather to read poetry and celebrate the life of this revered poet. Shiraz is also blessed with numerous picturesque mosques and beautiful gardens.
The jewel in the Persian crown is undoubtedly the beautiful city of Esfahan, which has one of the largest squares in the world in the breathtaking Naqsh Jahan Square and probably the most stunning Islamic architecture found anywhere. Esfahan is unbelievably picturesque, with its famed bridges and lively bazaars.
ANCIENT SITES
Iran has a long and rich history, with the Persian Empire at one point ruling over 44% of the world's population. The country is home to some world-class archaeological sites, including the rock-carved tombs of Nagsh e Rostam, where Darius the great is buried, and the spectacular Achamaenid palace complex at Persepolis. This ancient palace was built by Darius the Great to celebrate events such as the Persian New Year, when representatives from the four corners of the empire would congregate. This vast site merits at least a couple of hours to explore the ruins and bas reliefs.
SCENERY
But it's not only about the cities and ancient sites, the scenery of Iran is an unexpected highlight. From beautiful picnic spots such as the Murgon Waterfalls, to fertile valleys in the Bavanat Mountains, where you can encounter Kashqai nomads and see a way of life that has changed little over centuries. In the Dena mountains around Yasuj you'll find an alpine scenery of snow-capped mountains, lakes and streams. It is well worth spending some time away from the better-known cultural sites to explore this lesser-known side of Iran. It really is a beautiful country.
THE PEOPLE
The people of Iran are another real highlight, being welcoming and keen to engage in conversation about everything from politics to football. You are likely to be surrounded by schoolkids asking you questions, offered tea and invited to share in picnics with the locals pretty much wherever you go.
If ever a people were misrepresented by a regime it would be the Iranians. Thanks to a baby boom in the 80's, over 60% of its 70 million population are aged under 30. This generation is well-educated, worldly, and exposed to global media through the internet. Walking around the streets -- which are incidentally very safe - this certainly feels like a nation on the cusp of change.
So forget about any preconceptions you may have about safety, security, or the welcome you'll receive in Iran. Founded by Mohammed Aga Khan it is a vibrant place that ranks among the most densely populated cities on Earth. Its biggest transformation in its recent history was due to religious leader, Ayatollah Khomeyni, who in 1979 established the Iranian Republic, a theocracy within the teachings of the Koran. The Saad-Abad Palace complex was the first summer residence of the Qadjarian kings. Following several extensions, from the 1920’s eighteen palaces were used by Reza Shah Pahlevi and his family. The city of Kashan prospered under the Safavid, Shah Abbas The First, who designed the Bagh-E-Fin Garden according to a model of a Persian paradise garden. Outside the city, the settlement mound of Tepe Sialk uncovered finds that can be traced back to the seventh millennium B.C. At the time of Shah Abbas, Kashan was fortified with a double city wall that contained more than six thousand buildings, plus forty mosques and three Koran schools. The Koran Gate leads to the city of Shiraz, a city of love, roses and poetry. Famous Persian poets once lived here and created works of great beauty. Today their mausoleums are visited with much reverence, such as the Hafiz Tomb. For fifty eight years, Ionic stonemasons, Babylonian brick makers, Median and Egyptian goldsmiths, worked in Persepolis, they created what was an indelible symbol of the Achaemenid Empire. The highest level contained the royal residences with living rooms, a fire temple and harem. Iran is still a land of desert, palaces and mosques, a country that is timeless, captivating and historic.

Although the Achaemenid made Hamedan one of its summer residences, they also built their headquarters there, a sprawling city system in the form of a large camp. Dareios The Great began construction of Persepolis shortly after he had attained power as Third Emperor of Persia. Although he already had two capital cities, Pasargadae and Susa, he wanted to present to the world a third impressive city. During several decades of construction the glorious total work of Persian-Achaemenid art was achieved. Todays ruins, former residence of the Achaemenid Empire, are one of the greatest and most impressive palace complexes in the world. From the Middle Ages, Shiraz had a well-developed network of quantum, underground drains that continue to nourish a number of gardens. The Mongols left Shiraz undamaged but the Afghans conquered, destroyed and looted the city until finally a Kurd, Karim Khan Zand, established a trading centre there, protected by a citadel, which became the capital of his empire. After Teheran and Yazd, Kerman has the third largest community of followers of the teachings of Zarathustra, with attendant fire temples. The Ganj Ali Khan Complex has a large courtyard with a water pool and is framed by arcade passages, a mosque, caravanserai, bath house and bazaar. Shiite Islam became the state religion and several golden dynasties followed until Persia became an empire with a long and remarkable history.

From the Middle Ages, Shiraz had a well-developed network of quantum, underground drains that continue to nourish a number of gardens. The Mongols left Shiraz undamaged but the Afghans conquered, destroyed and looted the city until finally a Kurd, Karim Khan Zand, established a trading centre there, protected by a citadel, which became the capital of his empire. After Teheran and Yazd, Kerman has the third largest community of followers of the teachings of Zarathustra, with attendant fire temples. The Ganj Ali Khan Complex has a large courtyard with a water pool and is framed by arcade passages, a mosque, caravanserai, bath house and bazaar. Shiite Islam became the state religion and several golden dynasties followed until Persia became an empire with a long and remarkable history.

With its historic centre, Esfahan is situated on the banks of the Zayandeh Rud River and is a gem of ancient Persia. In the centre of the historic city centre is the modest Pillar Halls Mosque which is thought to have been built above a fire temple. In around 1087, Seljuk vizier, Nizam Ol-Molk, had the pillar hall and its many small brick domes, completed. Due to a fire lit by the Assassins in 1121 A.D., the original mosque was destroyed. Following the death of Shah Abbas, around thirty thousand Christian Armenians settled in the Julfa district where they built the Savior Cathedral. Its interior features the history of the Christianisation of Armenia that is depicted on several illustrated panels created by the Holy Gregor. The grandeur of Islamic architecture is reflected in Emam Square, the central square of the Safavid Era, known as "The image of the world". It is seven times larger than the Piazza San Marco in Venice. To the south the square is lined by a domed structure which for some years has been known as the Emam Khomeini Mosque, perfectly aligned toward Mecca. Esfahan is an architectural work of art and today one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

I thought I knew what a good hospitality is like.. until I came to Iran.
"Why go to Iran?" This is a question people often asked when I tell them I was going there. I would have ask the same if it wasn't the words of mouth I heard over the years about how awesome Iran is, how incredibly friendly the people are, and how off the beaten path the whole country is.
The first day I arrived in Tehran, I was walking around the Bazaar and we were approached by several locals asking what we think about Iran, gave us free tea and cakes, and allowed us to roam their warehouses without asking for anything in return. This similar scenario happened a lot more throughout my 2 weeks time in Iran and really got me thinking about how misinformed I was about the country. It is very safe to travel in Iran, easy to do it independently as the locals will go out of their ways to help you, and the people are one of the friendliest people in the world. Not to mention how beautiful the landscape is, how stunning all the attractions are, and how off the beaten track the whole country is.
Iran is truly a special country that with restore your heart and soul and I hope that this video shows at least half of the warmth I got from the amazing people in Iran.

In April 2013, I will begin my solo motorbike adventure starting in Perth, Western Australia and ending in Tallinn, Estonia.
The journey is expected to take 12 months crossing some of the most remote and culturally rich locations in the world.
I have previously travelled to nearly 50 countries, most of which are 2nd and 3rd world countries.
I choose these countries because it is there that I more often experience the vividly intense nature of life & death and the world’s most natural beauty.
I am what you could call a YOYO - Year on, year off.
I work as a FIFO for a year, saving up all I can to then go travelling for around 12 months.
I then return back to mining to save up for another travel venture.
On this particular trip I will be using an adventure motorbike customised specifically for this journey. I will also be taking my camera kitted out with 14-24mm, 24-70mm and 70-200mm lenses.
I intend to capture my journey through the lens of my camera with the end goal to produce a coffee table photo book.
I am also inviting people to take part in my journey by giving me photo challenges along the way.
The photo challenges people give me are a way to directly be involved, without having to leave home. You can direct me to take any image you please so long as it is not too criminal, too dangerous or too financially draining.
Essentially, the photo challenges will help guide my adventure by influencing where I travel along the way.
I have travelled for many years and I have already broken my neck once on a motorbike and am extremely aware of issues surrounding rider safety.
I will be travelling with a special GPS device, which will allow me to be located by GPS on any map, and more importantly, it has an SOS function for emergencies.
The countries which I intend to travel are;
Australia - Timor - Indonesia - Malaysia - Borneo - Thailand - Cambodia - Vietnam - Loas - Bhutan - Nepal - India - India (Tibet) - Pakistan - (then one of three possible routes) - The Stans or Iran to Turkey or Oman to North Africa - Estonia.
This trip is a once in a lifetime motorcycle photographic adventure, and I can’t wait to get started.

Raggiunto nel frattempo dai quattro superstiti decide di riprendere con questa nuova armata (a cui si aggiunge l'infido Thorz) il suo cammino verso Gerusalemme e, tutti assieme partono per nuove avventure.

Brancaleone alle crociate presenta svariate incongruenze storiche, ma occorre ricordare che si tratta di una commedia basata su elementi popolari e fantasiosi, e non di un vero e proprio film storico che intenda ricostruire fatti realmente accaduti. Gli autori pertanto hanno mescolato con una certa libertà nomi e date di fantasia con qualche riferimento storico più autentico, ma sempre nel quadro di un film che rappresenta fatti e situazioni per lo più immaginari.
Quando i pellegrini vengono massacrati dal Vescovo Spadone e dai suoi uomini, siamo intorno al 1084 periodo di Clemente III, riferimento che nel film che ci permette di datare l'avvenimento. Tuttavia il motivo del massacro è teologicamente e storicamente assolutamente assurdo perché né Clemente né alcun altro Papa o Antipapa della storia ha mai cambiato il dogma trinitario.
Dato che il secondo film è la continuazione del primo, anche se spariscono Zenone, Teofilatto e l'armata in sé, o anche se nel primo film l'Ottone fosse Ottone III (imperatore dal 983 al 1002), il lasso temporale è troppo grande per far combaciare il sequel alla perfezione. Inoltre v'è da considerare che Clemente salì al soglio come antipapa nel 1080 mentre la prima crociata fu lanciata il 27 novembre 1095 da papa Urbano II. Gregorio VII, pontefice all'epoca storica del film, aveva idealizzato il senso delle crociate, ma non riuscì a concretizzarle sotto il suo regno. Se l'Armata stava partecipando alla prima crociata, la seconda incongruenza è dunque palese, se invece stava partecipando ad un'ipotetica "primissima" crociata, mai realizzata, l'incastro storico sarebbe teoricamente possibile se non fosse che vengono citati re e principi che invece parteciparono alla I Crociata.
L'episodio del rogo della strega Tiburzia è da considerarsi del tutto anacronistico; infatti a quel tempo non era praticata la caccia alle streghe, un fenomeno riconducibile ai primi secoli dell'Età moderna.

Poco male, è il caso di dire "beati gli ultimi se arriveranno primi": il brano si rivela sin da subito un grande successo radiofonico e l'artista è costretta ad incidere velocemente l'album dal titolo omonimo che era in fase di preparazione. Risulterà per altro essere uno fra i suoi album più belli, riusciti e venduti (disco di platino, alla faccia delle solite giurie sanremesi comprate a "pastette")! Da qui in poi la Consoli si consacra definitivamente fino ai giorni nostri nel mondo delle sette note, riscuotendo ampi successi di critica e pubblico e riuscendo ad ottenere ampi riconoscimenti e una carriera lusinghiera.

Her 2012 multi-award winning documentary Banaz: A Love Story chronicles the life and death of Banaz Mahmod. Her second film the Bafta-nominated Jihad involved two years of interviews and filming with Islamic extremists, convicted terrorists and former jihadis.
Deeyah is the founder of social purpose arts and media production company, Fuuse which works to create intercultural dialogue and understanding by confronting the most complex and controversial topics, and sharing alternative views and excluded voices.

Este auténtico secretismo ha perdurado hasta nuestros días, pese a los loables intentos que se han hecho para promover la accesibilidad del esoterismo y filosofía oriental a nuestra cultura occidental ya desde el siglo XIX por autores como H.
