London i/ˈlʌndən/ is the capital and most populous city of England and the United Kingdom. Standing on the River Thames, London has been a major settlement for two millennia. It was founded by the Romans, who named it Londinium. London's ancient core, the City of London, largely retains its 1.12-square-mile (2.9 km2) medieval boundaries and in 2011 had a resident population of 7,375, making it the smallest city in England. Since at least the 19th century, the term London has also referred to the metropolis developed around this core. The bulk of this conurbation forms Greater London, a region of England governed by the Mayor of London and the London Assembly. The conurbation also covers two English counties: the small district of the City of London and the county of Greater London. The latter constitutes the vast majority of London, though historically it was split between Middlesex (a now abolished county), Essex, Surrey, Kent and Hertfordshire.
High Speed is a 1986 pinball game designed by Steve Ritchie and released by Williams Electronics. This game was based on Ritchie's real-life police chase inside a 1979 Porsche 928. He was finally caught in Lodi, California on Interstate 5 and accused of speeding at 146 mph.
During its design, High Speed was jokingly called "High Cost" by some rival Williams designers due to its then-high production cost. The advances in the mechanical design that went into High Speed, coupled with the machine's popularity, led to many machines being kept in service much longer than was previously the norm. The play surfaces of the machine were not initially given as much attention, leading to many High Speed machines seeing service to this day in extremely worn condition. Williams rapidly addressed this issue by making mylar playfield covers available and later adding hard clear paint coats to their playfields. Canadian specialist Classic Playfield Reproductions produced an officially licensed High Speed 13-color Reproduction Playfield, which shipped as limited edition in 2014.

London, the capital of England, has been an important financial, educational and cultural center for centuries. This world city is filled with iconic symbols. Tower Bridge is a striking reminder of London's rapid expansion during the industrial revolution. To the west of this is the country's seat of power, the Palace of Westminster. Opposite it stands Westminster Abbey. Perhaps the most famous of all London's churches is St. Paul's Cathedral. Buckingham Palace, located on the Mall, near Trafalgar Square, is the official residence of Queen Elizabeth II. Another legacy of England's monarchy are its Royal Parks, of which there are eight. Hyde Park and Green Park provide hectares of greenery in London's center. Culture and entertainment is everywhere in London; from the Royal Albert Hal...

This video is property of Train_PlaneHub, "RachaelMatt" and must not be re-uploaded! 1080p HD! FINALLY! After many months in making and by popular demand, I give you Trains at Speed 4! Many ups and downs getting this video together. Originally planned to upload it in September, however my computer broke and I lost everything. So restarted the long process of gaining all the footage again and its been a fun ride, but finally made it, compiled it and here it is! The fourth in my most successful series of videos here on YouTube! Footage is included from nearly all major routes and train operators in the United Kingdom from a variety of locations from Scotland down to the South Coast and Kent! There's some routes and trains that were not previously included in my "Trains at Speed" videos...
The latest of my semi-regular network tests in London, on a working day, and with each network given one shot each. This time both 3G and 4G was tested, to test my theory that in many cases 3G can beat 4G (for downlink speeds). The test appeared to prove that theory for Three, with some other occasions where 3G beat 4G - suggesting it's not just a backhaul problem causing slow data speeds. However, unlike tests I've done in the past, it seems 4G is now pretty much covering all of central London and the surrounds, and there wasn't any time where I got shunted down to 2G, nor any time where I couldn't get at least some data flowing. Overall, it seems that every network performed pretty well - including the virtual operator, The People's Operator, that is currently 3G only. Given the perfo...

I hope you've got the patience to watch this extraordinarily long video, testing Three's 4G service and putting it up against EE and O2 (as well as comparing 4G and 3G services on Three and EE). In order to be fair, I conducted multiple tests. A full table of the results can be found at http://wp.me/pPUSM-7p if you don't want to view the whole video or feel you've lost the will to live! These tests were done in London and were not scientific. They were simply tests that any normal user might try - outdoors in different parts of London. Testing at different times of the day would also make a difference, but - again - this test reflects any ordinary usage. The testing was restricted to central London due to Three's limited 4G coverage at launch (and to avoid making a video longer than the...

In this next video we're looking at something a little bit different. We will be driving non-stop from London Bridge to Brighton on the South London to Brighton route on the special speed run service which took place in September 2005. I made an attempt to beat the record, using the real speed limits which the driver was permitted to do that day. Enjoy! :) If you would like to drive this scenario for yourself, you can now find it on Steam Workshop at this link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=385232544 Please read all information in the description about the required DLC and files.
