Body found in bushland believed to be missing man Shaun Black

A body of a man found in bushland east of Perth is believed to be 52-year-old carpenter Shaun Black, who went missing in April this year.

Police say they believe they have located the body of Mr Black with his vehicle in a bush area near Woottating on Thursday September 21.

Mr Black was last seen on CCTV footage leaving his parents' Gosnells home.

He left the home in his white Ford Ranger utility and headed to his home in Southern Cross in order to finalise a land sale.

After he failed to return to his property, he was reported missing.

Emergency services conducted aerial and ground searches of bushland east of Perth and Mr Black's family said he had been dealing with personal issues and work stresses before he went missing.

Police say the man's death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
