This particular Mercedes-AMG C63 is no ordinary coupe, not only is this an Edition One model but it actually belongs to carwow’s very own CEO, James Hind. Obviously I have agreed to take extra special care of it, after all I did actually purchase this car on James' behalf using carwow (you can see how I did this by watching our video linked below). With that in mind I chose to put the C63 through its paces in a very special drag race, involving another carwow team member, but using a more unusual mode of transport. Super FAST Autobahn ACCELERATION and SOUND shootout between the outgoing Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG (6.2 V8, 487hp, 600Nm) and new Mercedes-AMG C63 S (4.0 V8, 510hp, 700Nm). As I drove both of these monsters in the past year it was really time to put them head-to-head and compare how they accelerate and sound in real-life. While the old C63 didn't have an active exhaust system as an option the new C63s features the optional "AMG Performance exhaust". I also have to defend the new C63s deep grunt doesn't come across on my video as good as the metallic sound of the larger 6.2, in real-life the old one sounds rather flat compared to the new one. I think the old C63 Coupe will be an outgoing classic, but Mercedes has also done a great job of keeping the AMG sound, despite going on the way with Turbos. During my visit to the home of AMG in Affalterbach, Germany, the keys land my way to a C63 S Sedan, let's take it for a drive! With over 500hp from the 4l TT V8 that's built at the factory on site, and a very shouty exhaust, there's certainly a boystrous side to it. However, in equal measure it manages to position as a luxurious cruiser, not a bad balance at all.

Head 2 Head
Head 2 Head was a sports quiz show that aired on ABC TV in Australia between 18 February and 9 December 2006 and broadcast on Saturday evenings initially at 6 pm, then at 5 pm. The show was hosted by Ashley Bradnam and produced by Nick Price.
Quiz format
The show format was for two contestants to answers sports trivia questions over four "quarters".
In the first quarter, competitors would answer ten general questions, all of which were either multiple choice or "true or false". One point was awarded for a correct answer and there was no penalty for an incorrect answer.
In the second quarter, competitors would answer up to twenty questions on a specialty topic in a maximum period of two minutes. The topics would be chosen by the contestants several weeks prior to the show. As with the first quarter, one point was awarded for a correct answer and there was no penalty for an incorrect answer.
The third quarter lasts two minutes and is a more traditional quiz show "buzzer round", again with general sports questions. One point is awarded for a correct answer but one point is now lost for an incorrect answer.

During my visit to the home of AMG in Affalterbach, Germany, the keys land my way to a C63 S Sedan, let's take it for a drive! With over 500hp from the 4l TT V8 that's built at the factory on site, and a very shouty exhaust, there's certainly a boystrous side to it. However, in equal measure it manages to position as a luxurious cruiser, not a bad balance at all. Super FAST Autobahn ACCELERATION and SOUND shootout between the outgoing Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG (6.2 V8, 487hp, 600Nm) and new Mercedes-AMG C63 S (4.0 V8, 510hp, 700Nm). As I drove both of these monsters in the past year it was really time to put them head-to-head and compare how they accelerate and sound in real-life. While the old C63 didn't have an active exhaust system as an option the new C63s features the optional "AMG Performance exhaust". I also have to defend the new C63s deep grunt doesn't come across on my video as good as the metallic sound of the larger 6.2, in real-life the old one sounds rather flat compared to the new one. I think the old C63 Coupe will be an outgoing classic, but Mercedes has also done a great job of keeping the AMG sound, despite going on the way with Turbos. Of course I am trying to get the C63 S Coupe this year to also check out how that one sounds :) Please don't hesitate to LIKE / COMMENT / SUBSCRIBE!
