JCCC may refer to:
Johnson County is the name of several counties in the United States:
A community college is a type of educational institution. The term can have different meanings in different countries.
In Australia, the term community college is not used. Analogous to community colleges are colleges or institutes of Technical and Further Education (TAFEs); institutions mostly regulated at state and territory level. There are also an increasing number of private providers of varying social esteem; often these are colloquially called "colleges".
TAFEs and other providers carry on the tradition of adult education, which was established in Australia around mid 19th century when evening classes were held to help adults enhance their numeracy and literacy skills. The majority of Australian universities can also be traced back to such forerunners, although obtaining a university charter has always changed their nature. In TAFEs and colleges today, courses are designed for personal development of an individual and/or for employment outcomes. Educational programs cover a variety of topics such as arts, languages, business and lifestyle; and are usually timetabled to be conducted in the evenings or weekends to accommodate people working full-time. Funding for colleges may come from government grants and course fees; and many are not-for-profit organisations. There are located in metropolitan, regional and rural locations of Australia.
Johnson County Community College (JCCC) is a 245 acres (99 ha) community college located in Overland Park, Kansas at College Boulevard and Quivira Road. With more than 19,400 credit and continuing education students, JCCC is the largest undergraduate institution of higher education in the state of Kansas.
In 1963, Johnson County Commissioners, recognizing the emerging community college movement and seeking to accommodate the rapidly growing population of Johnson County, Kansas, formed a committee to examine the feasibility of forming such an institution in Johnson County.
The college was formally established following a successful county-wide election held in March 1967. The existing campus was made possible in 1969 after Johnson County voters approved $12.9 million in bonds to purchase 200 acres of land in Overland Park. Construction began in 1970, and classes and operations were moved to the new campus in the fall of 1972.
Among the college's newest buildings, the Regnier Center and the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art, opened in 2007. Galileo's Pavilion, an environmentally friendly building, opened in 2012. JCCC broke ground in 2012 for the Hospitality & Culinary Academy, which opened in the fall of 2013.
A board of directors is a body of elected or appointed members who jointly oversee the activities of a company or organization. Other names include board of governors, board of managers, board of regents, board of trustees, and board of visitors. It may also be called "the executive board" and is often simply referred to as "the board".
A board's activities are determined by the powers, duties, and responsibilities delegated to it or conferred on it by an authority outside itself. These matters are typically detailed in the organization's bylaws. The bylaws commonly also specify the number of members of the board, how they are to be chosen, and when they are to meet. However, these bylaws rarely address a board's powers when faced with a corporate turnaround or restructuring, where board members need to act as agents of change in addition to their traditional fiduciary responsibilities.
In an organization with voting members, the board acts on behalf of, and is subordinate to, the organization's full group, which usually chooses the members of the board. In a stock corporation, the board is elected by the shareholders and is the highest authority in the management of the corporation. In a non-stock corporation with no general voting membership, the board is the supreme governing body of the institution; its members are sometimes chosen by the board itself.

You hit the ground 3000 miles too fast and you break
You fall into rivers of tears and you ache
And you hold onto the brink and you fall, you sink, it laughs and you think
I’m ok!
Well if I’m ok
Why do I break?
And If I fall will I reform?
And If I fall will I reform?
So you pick yourself up and they laugh
And you dust yourself down to reveal scars
and you hold on to the hope that wings will come to fix you
But it’s too late
And If I’m Ok?
Why does she break?
If I fall will I reform?
If I fall will I reform?
3000 miles and no one saves you
Please don’t drown in your own tears
And I will try to save you
If you’d only try and save me
When you fall, you will reform
When you fall
