Albert Square is the fictional location of the BBC soap opera EastEnders in the equally fictional London Borough of Walford in the East End. The square's design was based on Fassett Square in Hackney, and was given the name Albert Square after Prince Albert. The public house, The Queen Victoria, was also given its name due to this. One of the key characteristics of the pub is the window twitching by any of the occupants throughout the years. They are often known to look out of the windows, giving a view of the whole Square. This is especially common in dramatic storylines.
Central to the Square is the garden. The garden is home to Arthur Fowler's bench, which was placed there in memory of him. The bench is also known as the Bench of Tears, as it is often the place where characters will go and cry.
The square is the centre of all of the everyday drama in all of Walford's residents' lives; most of the characters in EastEnders live on the square. Although a major place on the show, there are other places which are used in the show, like the market.
Lalibela Airport (IATA: LLI, ICAO: HALL) is an airport serving Lalibela, a city in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. The name of the city and airport may also be transliterated as Lalibella. The airport is located 23 km (14 miles) southwest of the city.
The Lalibela Airport resides at an elevation of 1,958 metres (6,424 ft) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 10/28, with an asphalt surface measuring 2,400 by 53 metres (7,874 ft × 174 ft).
The main runway was rebuilt in 1997, at a cost of 53 million birr.
The following airlines offer scheduled passenger service at the Lalibela Airport:
On 14 March 1975, Douglas C-47 ET-ABR of Ethiopian Airlines was destroyed on the ground during a clash with rebels.
In geometry, a square is a regular quadrilateral, which means that it has four equal sides and four equal angles (90-degree angles, or right angles). It can also be defined as a rectangle in which two adjacent sides have equal length. A square with vertices ABCD would be denoted ABCD.
The square is the n=2 case of the families of n-hypercubes and n-orthoplexes.
A square has Schläfli symbol {4}. A truncated square, t{4}, is an octagon, {8}. An alternated square, h{4}, is a digon, {2}.
A square is a special case of a rhombus (equal sides, opposite equal angles), a kite (two pairs of adjacent equal sides), a parallelogram (opposite sides parallel), a quadrilateral or tetragon (four-sided polygon), and a rectangle (opposite sides equal, right-angles) and therefore has all the properties of all these shapes, namely:
Albert may refer to:
A square dance is a dance for four couples (eight dancers) arranged in a square, with one couple on each side, facing the middle of the square. Square dances were first documented in 17th-century England but were also quite common in France and throughout Europe. They came to North America with the European settlers and have undergone considerable development there. In some countries and regions, through preservation and repetition, square dances have attained the status of a folk dance. The Western American square dance may be the most widely known form worldwide, possibly due to its association in the 20th century with the romanticized image of the American cowboy. Square dancing is, therefore, strongly associated with the United States. Nineteen U.S. states have designated it as their official state dance.
The various square dance movements are based on the steps and figures used in traditional folk dances and social dances from many countries. Some of these traditional dances include Morris dance, English Country Dance, Caledonians and the quadrille. Square dancing is enjoyed by people around the world, and people around the world are involved in the continuing development of this form of dance.

I was immensely privileged to be able to have a behind the scenes visit of Albert Square, Walford and EastEnders. Many thanks to the BBC The music is ''Julia's Theme'' named after Julia Smith who was the Co-creator/producer of EastEnders and is a longer, more emotive version of the original theme also composed by Simon May for the BBC.

A little look at Albert Square and Manchester Town Hall clock right in the heart of Manchester city centre on Monday 9th February 2015. The square contains a number of monuments and statues, the largest of which is the Albert memorial. It is dominated by its largest building, Manchester Town Hall Grade I, a Victorian Gothic building by Alfred Waterhouse. Work on the town hall began in 1868 and completed in 1877. In the early 1970s, there was a plan to build an underground station under Albert Square and neighbouring St Peter's Square, as part of the ill-fated Picc-Vic tunnel project. The project was eventually cancelled and the station was not built. At the end of the video, the clock can be heard striking 6.00pm. The 280 feet tall clock tower, houses a carillon of 23 bells: 12 are ...
